First Quiz - Announcement

André Matos (Angra, Shaman, Viper) - it can be said that he was one of those people who were simply born to be musicians. A Brazilian maestro with an actual degree in classical music, he remains one of metal's most remarkable figures ever - even though his work may not be as popular as that of many others (for a detailed introduction, I recommend checking out this great post by @celticbotanart). I believe you'll see why I decided for my first quiz to be about his music. 🙂 As you may know, his 53rd birthday would've been on September 14th this year - and that'll be the release date of the quiz I have in mind. Feel free to ask any questions at any time!

Format: there are 9 audio samples (around 30-70 seconds long) from his vocal performances in different bands (I didn't include anything from his solo albums, but they're also definitely worth checking out) AND one video. In the last part of each sample you are given a Clue Card with the name of the band. You have to guess the name of the song - based on the melody and lyrics. The answers are revealed in the very end.

We will use derivative astrology to know what is the profession of your spouse (future spouse). This is done by considering the 7H in your natal chart as the Ascendant for your s/o. So the 10th place from the 7H in your natal chart is your 4H. Therefore the 4H and it's ruler's placement tells you about their career. Flip your Natal Chart so that it's easier to navigate. Your 7H becomes their 1H, your 8H becomes their 2H, your 9H becomes their 3H, and so forth until you reach their 12H which is your 6H.

Note: All the Natal Charts used in the examples will be reversed, as it will help you see the person's 7H as their spouse's 1H. Also, for all these people they themselves have a pretty defined career, so it's pretty obvious that celebrities usually marry celebrities, so their spouse's careers are usually easy to think of. You just need a bit of creative thinking with your own Natal Chart. Once you have a bunch of possibilities listed out, then see if there is someone you really like has one of those careers, and maybe they are going to be quite a significant partner for you!

Justin Bieber's Natal Chart

Justin has 4H in Aquarius, with Saturn in 5H Pisces. This means his spouse's career is signified by an Aquarius 10H containing Mercury conjunct Mars, and ruler of 10H in 11H Pisces.

So, Hailey has had a pretty unconventional career. Till a few years back we didn't know what she did for a career, except for the fact that she modelled for a few shows here and there. Later, considering Saturn, she has started her own business (Rhode Skincare). Pisces signifies beauty and all things dreamy, fun and lighthearted. Pisces is related to beauty, theater, arts, anything that brings out your creative abilities. So Justin is a musician. Jupiter being in Capricorn suggests that Justin has been in this field in the presence of a lot of older figures. A significant impact on his career has been because of his managers, his mom and he almost has been "parented" by all these people he met when he started out pretty young. And a lot of his earlier music has been made possible through working with other people.

Gigi Hadid's Natal Chart (considering her daughter's father Zayn Malik)

Gigi has Leo 4H with Sun in 1H Taurus. So her spouse's career significator is a Leo 10H with Sun in Taurus 7H. Also, Mars in his 10H.

So, Zayn is an artist. Leo again signifies something creative, where a person can express themselves. Sun being in Taurus shows that there are exceptional talents when it comes to using their voice. 7H Sun shows that his career is tied to working with other people, and he was in a band, One Direction. Mars in 10H shows he may have had conflicts with the people he worked with because something didn't suit his personal direction he wanted to go in or schedules were hectic while he worked with other people.

Kim Kardashian (considering Kanye West)

Kim has Pisces 4H with Jupiter in Virgo 10H. So her spouse's career significator is 10H in Pisces containing Moon in 10H, and ruler Jupiter in 4H Virgo.

Kanye has a reputation of being pretty vocal of whatever he's going through and that reflects in his music. He is a pretty "deep" kind of musician. So straight up with Venus and Neptune in the 10th shows that there is a heavy involvement of beauty that deceives, and that is acting. His spouse is involved in acting, and Neptune rules over the imagination, etc. Venus further intensifies the beauty aspect of Hollywood. - really wanted to step away from that sexy maid aesthetic. my goal was to mix maid with a princess silhouette to reference virgo’s nickname for lucy.

- so i added elements of cinderella’s look like the side fabrics, choker and longer dress.

- using just black is so boring so i brought in some pink and chose to instead use greys

- so many lucy dresses have pigtails so changing the hair also has a more practical element because it’s pulled away.

- I actually love the og scorpio dress. It’s so different to all the other looks and so easy to distinguish that it’s scorpio.

- i wanted to play into a trackstar / athlete look just so it has an aesthetic that stands out. i also used shapes found in scorpios tail and neck frill in her armour and top.

- i absolutely love the new hair, i wanted it to resemble a scorpion tails! Also just was bored by the normal head band and u know what why not do a cutest bow.

~ sagittarius

- my least fav og dress is is sag. the colour, the lack of shade range and the outfit is just…. yer not cute.

- so i was inspired by more fantasy archers and sag’s colours are screaming cool earthy ranger.

- i think the final result much better resembles sag in the colours and aesthetic.

~ capricorn

- this luxus bad girl moment and i love it. The og one is pretty good but i wanted to fully push it more.

- there’s strands of hair coming out of her bun to resemble horns and belt to resemble a tail.

- the og design is too black so i went with a darker purple to stand out. I didn’t want virgo and capricorns to look like a matching set.

~ aquarius

- there was a lot of pressure to do aquarius well because it’s significant star dress, a fan favourite and my own star sign!

- i leaned more in the mermaid aesthetic by using more fin silhouettes and pearl detailing

- i wanted to make it more practical so a more supported bikini and mini skirt under the fin like fabric.

i’m so super proud of these designs and i’ve actually seen an improvement in my art. Maybe in the future i’ll do a piece with all of them or do yukinos dresses so lmk if ur into that.

Venus conjoining Mercury in your chart can most often make you obsessed with rings. Because Mercury rules the hands, when it's conjunct your Venus, ruler of beauty, it puts an emphasis on your hands.
