“I’m wearing a skirt from my most recent collection made from upcycled denim jeans, top by Women’s History Museum, hair piece by Katie Lee Jones, vintage 80s belt & bra, and Vivienne Westwood bag. I am inspired by spiders, forever creating & repairing, imbuing their webs with divine femme magic grandmother energy, the same energy I channel with my art & everything I do.”

luly had a hollywood hair barbie and told you this of her own accord without prompting? and also she refers to the body as ice barbie unprompted?
Correct. At this point it’s less of an Apollo’s Dodgeball situation and more that she’s wielding Apollo’s Precision Sniper Rifle.

Perhaps one of the biggest stereotypes about style is to say that your greatest reference is your mother, but in these photos it is impossible not to talk about how important matriarchs are for us. The skirt is from Júlia's mother and the leather jacket is from my own, two pieces as iconic from the 90s as timeless. I love this look, perhaps because it combines these two very special garments, perhaps because it is comfortable and elegant at the same time, or perhaps because it makes me feel like the main character from a romcom from when I was a child… Whatever the case, I am sure that I will repeat this combination next spring when I can go without tights again.

can someone give me ideas for renaming kyouka? i dont think that name fits the most and also i chose it maaany years ago now i think it could be cultural appropriation (i tried to compare it with someone naming their oc like Carlinhos and uh... yea feels a lil disrespectful if they dont know much about the name of the culture surrounding it yknow) and i think i can come up with something more meaningful than that. Something relating to the fact she chose her name in a book, and maybe also referencing her whole jester thing going on

Sometimes sewing is swearing at the machine every 10 seconds while stabbing yourself in the thumb with a safety pin and finding yourself making a bag instead of originally making a hair ribbon…
