Detective Charles Harold watched these young ladies dance and shimmy at Murray's restaurant, June 17, 1922. He then invited them to appear before Magistrate Simpson. He said he had never seen such abbreviated bathing suits at the beach and that they wriggled a bit. The magistrate paid close attention to the testimony and then dismissed the charge.
