list of young actors of color who deserve to have more recognition and opportunities as actors like Glen Powell, Jacob Elordi, Timothee Chalmet etc. It would be refreshing to see more of these talented and underrated actos of color in lead roles, whether in action and sci fi blockbusters, even rom coms
*Note, the list consists of actors born within the 90s-2000s. This might not be a complete list so whoever sees this is welcome to add more actors that I missed. I might update this post from time to time
basically a sequel to this post dedicated to young actresses of woc
Manny Jacinto: It's a crime that he's not cast as a male romantic lead in rom coms. He was so talented in the acolyte and he deserved the same career Glen Powell has. It's a crime he's not in more projects as a lead
Tumblr media
Rege Jean Page: he's born in 1988 but I had to include him as he deserved the same roles and opportunities as his co worker Jonathan Bailey. He still deserves a career outside of bridgerton
Tumblr media
Caleb McLaughlin: It's very telling how he's not in a lot of other projects (major blockbusters) out of the rest of the young and mostly white cast in stranger things
Tumblr media
Ncuti Gatwa (he deserves the same appreciation and opportunities David Tennant and Matt Smith got post Doctor Who)
Tumblr media
Danny Ramirez
Tumblr media
Anthony Ramos
Tumblr media
Rish Shah
Tumblr media
Charles Melton (it's a crime he didn't get an Oscar, here's to hoping he gets more major roles)

Ross Butler (Look at him, let him play an action hero)

TRANSFER NEWS: Hojland, Mount, Kim Min-Jae, Costa...
United are springing into action early... or so the transfer rumour mill would suggest.
Tumblr media
Goalkeeper: Only one name is being mentioned at present - Diogo Costa. The young Porto keeper is a tad shorter than De Gea but with similar shot stopping, much better aerial presence, and far superior ball playing ability out from the back. It's unclear if United will go for him, but if they buy a new keeper it has to be a proper rival to DDG and not another Jack Butland type.
Defence: Napoli's Kim Min-Jae was voted in the Serie A Team of the Season, and was named in the Pundit's Team of the Season too. He's a beast of a defender and stats-wise would complement Lissandro Martinez impeccably.
Backup option Axel Disasi from Monaco wouldn't be a bad choice, but is more of a Victor Lindelof level talent; rotational but not Grade A.
Other rumours involve Jurrien Timber, who would be a solid addition - especially as a progressive CB with ball playing skills and the ability to deputise at RB. As would true RB Jeremie Frimpong, who reportedly is a United fan (despite playing in the Man City academy).
Midfield: Jude Bellingham's out of the picture (as if we could afford him), Frenkie De Jong isn't really being hinted at, so it's looking very much like just Mason Mount at present. Moises Caicedo has been hinted at but, with a high fee required to sway Brighton, that might take new ownership assistance.
Attack: Rasmus Hojland is a Manchester United fan and promising Atalanta striker. One for the future? For sure. The next Haaland? Probably not. Doesn't mean he's not a good striker though.
He's worth a punt from United but the squad needs another. A lead CF for this lad to rotate with and learn from. Harry Kane could be that man, but with Karim Benzema out of Real Madrid, it's hard to see Kane going anywhere but the Spanish giants. A shame, as his goals might elevate United to the top 2 battle.
That leaves the likes of Vlahovic (whom I don't personally rate), Victor Osimhen (expensive), Gonçalo Ramos (wanking video), Jonathan David (decent) or a loan signing of Neymar - if rumours are to be believed.
Strikers are hard to come by at the moment unfortunately. It might be a case of rotating Rashford and Hojland up top for a season til a new contender appears for the no9 spot. Who knows, maybe Anthony Martial will magically be cured of his 2000 injuries...

The Disability Library
I love books, I love literature, and I love this blog, but it's only been recently that I've really been given the option to explore disabled literature, and I hate that. When I was a kid, all I wanted was to be able to read about characters like me, and now as an adult, all I want is to be able to read a book that takes us seriously.
And so, friends, Romans, countrymen, I present, a special disability and chronic illness booklist, compiled by myself and through the contributions of wonderful members from this site!
As always, if there are any at all that you want me to add, please just say. I'm always looking for more!
Edit 20/10/2023: You can now suggest books using the google form at the bottom!
