IS LIFE REALLY GOOD?
I hear a lot of people grumbling and complaining about the kind of life they do have in the moment. Some even think that they have “no choice,” and are purely a product of their ancestor’s status; whether it be economic, personality or genes. A few groups thrive too much, spending countless days tired, burned-out and and over-worked. How can life be “good” considering all these things? Emotional sentiments and circumstances that seem to be out of control aren’t covered in the equation yet, the human nature, to add.
There are two very simple truths that we tend to underestimate and take for granted. First, “Life is a Gift.” We are living in a world where we don’t get to decide to exist. We are gifted to exist. An unplanned marriage or pregnancy doesn’t discredit the gift. Every born child is a beautiful undeserved blessing. No wonder why we love babies! What if every person in the world looks at life as a gift?
Second, “The way we live life is a choice.
I totally agree that there are a variety of factors that hone the ways we do life. Biological make-up, environment, nature v.s. nurture, upbringing, and a lot more. But believe it or not, all these factors are preceded by a greater force that directly affects the way way we actually live, CHOICE. The freedom to choose is far greater than all other facets of the human existence.
We tend to bring too much baggage along our journey because of the way we look at life. It becomes a burden when we always think we have no choice. It’s time to lessen the luggage, travel light. Not even your occupation or work should influence your choice, remember, ‘We only work to live. We don’t live to work.’ Life is good. It’s a matter of perspective. You make the choice.

I got the title “10,000 REASONS” from a 2011 Gospel hit song, written and sung by Matt Redman. It has been a catch phrase in the Christian music industry and earned covers from different artists.
My goal in this blog is to help people see the beauty of one’s existence, the gift of being alive, and be enraptured by the freedom of living the life that we are designed to live. Believe it or not, in this life, we are given more than 10,000 reasons to be thankful for--- Beautiful reasons to wake up each day with ignited passion, to pursue dreams relentlessly, and to appreciate every single moment.
Life is good! Never let anyone make you believe otherwise!
