monster prom is such a brilliant game. You think it’s a stupid little dating sim satire (and it is) but then you start having discussions of class conflict, responsible drug use, the fear of disappointing parents by being yourself, how family doesn’t start or end in blood, and just so much more.

And the Damian punches the fucking sun.

YOU HEARD HER, ALL RISE.

In my many travels across our big 'ole internet, I discovered an artist named DCelestial. And immediately their art drew me in. They've been QUITE generous in what they've drawn for me, and I've yet to actually commission them! (I'm subscribed to their Patreon, though. Does that count?)

Anyway, they were looking for suggestions for someone snake-like for a "Year of the Snake" themed illustration, so I put the name Vera Oberlin in the hat, seeing as she's my fave girl in all Monster Prom. The poll actually ended up in a tie, and she was chosen out of pure luck in a roulette. SO HERE WE ARE.

I definitely look forward to the day I properly get some paid work done with them, but in the meantime please be sure to check their gallery on DeviantArt as well as their Patreon for the exclusive stuff that I've been fortunate to collect!
