I’m watching Splash (1984) which is a romcom about a guy who falls in love with a mermaid, and when she chooses a human name she chooses Madison and guy says “that’s not a real name, but alright” which seems to imply that Madison was not a name until at least the 80’s and all girls named Madison are actually named after the mermaid. thought you should know

when i see the black and white rep photo, the left hand on her face (under karlie's eye) looks really fake and photoshopped too. what's up with that?

i think the hand/fingers have been photoshopped as well. i mean, there is no shadow under her ring finger. it makes sense because a version of the photo that we see in the behind the scenes video shows a different hand positioning from the final image. i assume they took a lot of photos and played around in post.

it also makes sense because the photographers for the shoot, mert & marcus (that’s mert above) are well known for using digital manipulation in their work

Sometimes I remind myself that both Dan and Phil will get more mature and leave YouTube. They won’t be attending SiTC or Playlist Live anymore. Their jobs are as radio show hosts. They’ll find a girl who they think is best for them and get married, move into separate houses, have a family and be happy. I just hope they’ll think of YouTube and who they were, AmazingPhil and danisnotonfire before they take their last breath.
