All-Black is a Necrosword first forged by Knull, using his firstborn symbiote. Later, the sword was wielded by Gorr who used it to slay gods. Hello everyone! This is my very first series, and it's actually meant to be my 100 followers special!!

I got some interest in the idea when I was taking a poll that involved some of my own ideas and I decided since it involves every character in Rivals, I would make it super special.

This is a series, and so hopefully I'll get a new day out every week (no promises).

Reader (you) is referred to as Chef from time to time, but there's nothing specific like pronouns or appearance (other than sometimes clothes).

MCU Spider-Man 4 Thoughts/Theories/Predictions

I recently finished playing Insomniac Spider-Man Remastered and it got me thinking about MCU and where his story could go so I decided to make a list of some of my thoughts/theories/predictions for (hopefully) future movies for my favorite Spidey (I love all Spidey’s but this one holds a special place in my heart because he was the first Spidey I’ve ever watched)

Peter will frequent MJ’s work, he won’t talk to her much but he likes to check in on her and Ned as much as he can without coming across as a creep

From his newfound isolation also comes heavy bouts of depression so he buries himself with Spidey work

During one of these bouts he comes across some black ooze (the Sony Venom symbiote piece that got left behind) and it eagerly latches onto him feeding off all his insecurities and isolating him from others even more

MJ becomes suspicious of him, she can’t quite put her finger on it but something about him is familiar. She often finds her hand going to her broken lotus necklace when he comes by…

MJ has been having a lot of weird dreams lately, about a boy with a blurry face who makes her feel all warm and fuzzy inside

She and Ned get closer and are now BFF’s

MJ notices that Peter doesn’t come around any more, at this point she has already started putting together a red string clue board to try and piece all these weird puzzle pieces together. She’d probably talk to Ned about it at some point who’d go along with it since he too has had a weird feeling that something - or someone - is missing

MJ will also be involved with a investigative journalism program at MIT

At some point Miles is introduced, maybe as another cafe regular or something

By the end MJ pieces all the weird shards of her memories together and cues a memory montage (very Rapunzel remembering she’s the lost princess-esque)

Once MJ remembers she immediately tells Ned, Ned’s memories need a bit more jogging but soon he remembers as well and they both go searching for Symbiote Peter to try and stop him before he goes to far

Together they’re able to tear the symbiote from him

They have a tearful reunion together and destroy the symbiote (or so they thought)

I’m currently almost fifty thousand words into a new marvel fic. I’m nowhere near done with the story but, I am at a pretty good point where I’m starting to wonder if I should break the story up into different parts or just post it all as one. So I’m gonna let you all decide.

This story is gonna encompass all the marvel movies and shows since 2008. There’s some pretty cool pairings and oc’s. I’m even adding a few of my own hc’s into it. But what do you guys think? Split the stories by movie/shows or leave it all as one giant story?

If anyone’s curious abt it please let me know.

Round 2, Match 14: Mayalaran vs. All-Black

Mayalaran is a Shardblade; a type of blade that can be magically summoned or dismissed and can cut through any physical object. She is wielded by Adolin Kholin, who nicknamed her Maya. Prior to learning her name, he refused to give her a name of his choosing, musing that that would be rude. Adolin often speaks to her even though she does not respond. Much of the lore surrounding Mayalaran gets into spoiler territory, so I will place more details under the cut if you are interested in learning more and don’t think you will read the books!

It is now possessed by Dylan Brock, who uses it to sever symbiotes from the Hive Mind. All-Black grants its wielder superhuman abilities, such as extreme strength, durability, speed, and reflexes. It can also shapeshift and manipulate dark energy.

Mayalaran is a true spren, meaning that she had sentience in the cognitive realm (realm of the mind) and appeared as a humanoid (as opposed to lesser spren, which appear as animal- or spirit-like creatures in the cognitive realm and do not have sapience). However, she has been killed and now manifests as a deadeye, giving her once lively grassy hair a brown, wilting look and rendering her eyes black and scratched out. She was once bonded to a Radiant Knight through a Nahel bond (formed by stating Oaths), but when the Radiant she was bonded to broke their Oaths, she was killed and turned into a deadeye. Because of this, she cannot speak and only screeches, and wanders in the cognitive realm following her corpse (the sword, her physical form). Living Shardblades are able to communicate with the person they are bonded to, and are able to shape and manipulate their physical form. They can also be summoned instantaneously. However, as a deadeye, Maya’s form is static and cannot change, and she requires ten heartbeats to be summoned.

Most likely due to the unique way that Adolin interacts with Maya, she has been partially revived and is capable of greater sapience than before. She told Adolin her name, and has spoken on at least one other occasion. Once she moved to protect Adolin from attack by a Fused (in simple terms, an hostile entity) of her own volition, something deadeyes are not known to do. Once, she was summoned in only seven heartbeats instead of ten. After being partially revived, she is able to speak and converse, although her speech is slow or off. It is possible that she may be revived further as the series continues!

I think it's kinda interesting that Shinichiro always calls Mikey "Manjiro". It's not like Mikey seems to mind that, anyway. I have some thoughts on it but they aren't very organized...

Everybody else, including Takeomi (Shin's close friend, has known Mikey before he started using another name), calls him "Mikey" in daily life. I wonder what grandpa Sano uses, though.

I'm pretty sure Shinichiro keeps using 'Manjiro' because Mikey, as well as his official name, is what he has left of his 'normal' life - what he has left of when their parents were still there. In the same way, their mother probably never used 'Mikey' (but she isn't as affected, since she's got only Emma to call Mikey like that).

I think grandpa Sano continues to use 'Manjiro' too, if only because Mikey was named after him ('Mansaku' - same first kanji (万)). If Mikey had demanded of them to use 'Mikey', perhaps they'd have, but I just think they're too attached to the name - the same way Emma is attached to 'Mikey'. There's a reason.

As for everyone else using it as well, for Baji and the Akashi I think it was Mikey pushing them to use it + kids finding foreigner names and aliases to be cool, and Emma using it too. At some point since they got used to hear it, they got used to use it. And for the ones Mikey met later on (starting Draken), he had been introducing himself as 'Mikey' for quite a while - to the point highschoolers call him like that. That's just how he introduces himself, the name he goes by on a regular basis.

For Takeomi, although he's known Mikey since he was a baby, he's still not as close to him as Shinichiro is - he's a family friend but not as close as family, albeit Akashi and Sano are very close (or were at this point in time anyway). And same things as his siblings or Baji, he probably heard it so often his brain started using 'Mikey' automatically. I do think he can still use 'Manjiro' at times, but for him there's no real difference between using one or the other.
