MCU Spider-Man 4 Thoughts/Theories/Predictions

I recently finished playing Insomniac Spider-Man Remastered and it got me thinking about MCU and where his story could go so I decided to make a list of some of my thoughts/theories/predictions for (hopefully) future movies for my favorite Spidey (I love all Spidey’s but this one holds a special place in my heart because he was the first Spidey I’ve ever watched)

Peter will frequent MJ’s work, he won’t talk to her much but he likes to check in on her and Ned as much as he can without coming across as a creep

From his newfound isolation also comes heavy bouts of depression so he buries himself with Spidey work

During one of these bouts he comes across some black ooze (the Sony Venom symbiote piece that got left behind) and it eagerly latches onto him feeding off all his insecurities and isolating him from others even more

MJ becomes suspicious of him, she can’t quite put her finger on it but something about him is familiar. She often finds her hand going to her broken lotus necklace when he comes by…

MJ has been having a lot of weird dreams lately, about a boy with a blurry face who makes her feel all warm and fuzzy inside

She and Ned get closer and are now BFF’s

MJ notices that Peter doesn’t come around any more, at this point she has already started putting together a red string clue board to try and piece all these weird puzzle pieces together. She’d probably talk to Ned about it at some point who’d go along with it since he too has had a weird feeling that something - or someone - is missing

MJ will also be involved with a investigative journalism program at MIT

At some point Miles is introduced, maybe as another cafe regular or something

By the end MJ pieces all the weird shards of her memories together and cues a memory montage (very Rapunzel remembering she’s the lost princess-esque)

Once MJ remembers she immediately tells Ned, Ned’s memories need a bit more jogging but soon he remembers as well and they both go searching for Symbiote Peter to try and stop him before he goes to far

Together they’re able to tear the symbiote from him

They have a tearful reunion together and destroy the symbiote (or so they thought)

              Miles has always been a night person, he’s made some of his best ideas and best projects in the wee hours of the night. He’s only just started to develop his skill set, and he hasn’t figured out where said insight comes from, because any good analyst will assert that correlation does not always mean causation. He wants to get it, he really does, but in all reality he simply isn’t ready to come into himself.

Musings

Miles moved simply because it was time he started to be a little more self reliant, he loves his mother and he wanted more than to simply be the man that she wanted him to be, he wanted to be the man he wanted to be. He wanted to show her the person he’s capable of becoming, but it’s starting to settle in that she may never see that.

His mother is essentially a single mom, his dad making sparse appearances in his life, he feels very guilty about leaving. Not because of his reasons, but because the conculsion he is slowly reaching is that she simply can’t hear him.

Miles has a lot of energy, and he needs to be around almost a commotion in order to complete sit down tasks, it gives him something to tune out while working.

Miles could totally be a bartender, or at least he thinks he could, direct quote: “I’m fun, charismatic, and okay with a recipe. Jon Taffer would love me.” Jon Taffer would not be impressed with him.

Miles is a Survivor fanatic, his favorite season is Tocahtins, and he thinks he would be decent at the strategy, okayish in challenges, but awful at the camp part.

Wanted Connections

Since Miles hasn’t been around Woodvale too long, he doesn’t nescessarily have a lot of in depth relationships spanning more than two years, a few thing I think would be fun to explore:

Best Friends: These are by no means people Miles has known for a long time, however these are the people he’s consisently developed close relationships with since moving. He’s very comfortable with these people, and runs things by them, think kindered spirits energy

Flirtationship: this is some playful flirtation that will probably go absolutely nowhere, there aren’t really feelings there, and in many ways the flirting is more of an inside joke than an actual attempt at dating eachother. 

Ex-lover: this is someone that Miles dated out of the nature of his insecure attatchment style; could’ve ended mutually, could’ve ended badly.

Love Interest: This is person that could have an actual, legitament relationship with. The dynamic is pretty open to interpretation.

Roommates: Think New Girl loft energy, Miles is very aware that he is getting a bit old to have roommates, however, he is also very aware of the fact that he is a highschool teacher, so it’s not improbable for him to have a roommate. [taken: Elinor, could possibly have another, talk to us both!]

to begin off here is a link to harry’s wiki since he is a canon character to give more of a brief overview of himhis personality has not changed at all. he’s still very snarky, prideful, wild, and pretty darn unpredictable with what he’ll do or say. he has very little love for the ak kids and will, more often that not, give them a hard time and just be as difficult as he can

i do headcanon that while harry is unaware of who is mom is, she is a siren which makes him half-siren. however, he has no knowledge of this whatsoever so it’s a complete mystery for him.

harry is a flirt. a really, really big flirt. comes with his charismatic personality, and a lot of the time he uses it as a tool to get what he wants. harry knows he’s attractive. he knows people find him attractive. he’ll flirt with vks and aks, doesn’t matter to him. he has no preference whatsoever. he’s not at all ashamed of being bisexual and he’ll sure as heck flaunt it around to mess with people, just to flirt, or whatever. it’s a fun time for him

he is extremely attached to uma and gil, though. super attached. he is very loyal and would never leave their sides. ever.literally would die for uma. he would do anything she asked, very rarely questions it

at the same time, he’s so attached and willing to do whatever for uma and the crew because he’s afraid that if he doesn’t, then they won’t need him anymore and toss him away.

harry has a bit of a thing with living up to his dad and aspiring to be like him. he carries a hook on his hand so he can resemble his dad more, and that hasn’t remotely changed one bit. he did try to get tic-tock to bite his hand off before so he could have a real hook like his dad, but the crocodile just looked at him and went back to sleep

harry isn’t completely mentally stable. he has more than a few issues that he refuses to acknowledge. uma and gil are the ones that keep him together rather than falling apart

he had a pretty big reputation on the isle. one, very cruel and someone not to be messed with. two, he sorta was a man whore. got around a bit and has absolutely no shame of it whatsoever.

at a younger age he used to be a lot different. more carefree, open. friendly. but his dad saw too much of peter pan in him, and that was quickly snuffed out. harry has dealt with abuse most of his life, physical, mental, and emotional.

plays the piano and is actually really good at it. but only uma and gil and his sisters are aware of this particular habit

harry is an extremely violent person who will resort to violence as his first instinct. he is incredibly prideful of who he is and what he can do, and tends to have more of a wild and unpredictable nature to his actions. despite this, he is charismatic and is known to draw people close. harry has no concept of personal space boundaries, and uses touch as a form of intimidation.

Current Life

he definitely has no love for auradon and most likely never will. especially after the sea 3 were willing to help until they learned that opening the barrier had been a complete lie. harry wasn’t going to do a damn thing with that knowledge.

remaining on the isle for the years that he has definitely has.... put him into an even worse mental state than before. though he’s unaware of it, he does suffer from complex post-traumatic stress disorder ( c-PTSD ) and body integrity identity disorder ( BIID ) specifically with his left hand. he’s definitely gotten worse over the years without getting the help he needs or having that freedom.

so he’s not happy. he’s angry at auradon for keeping them trapped while they got to live their happily ever after. and he’s for damned sure ready to tear it all to pieces. 

does work in auradon as a professional sailor mainly to keep an eye on things and to spy. 

in an open relationship with uma. the dynamic works very well for them and has since they decided to be honest about their feelings for one another. sure, harry might flirt with other people and sleep around still but his heart belongs to uma and he never fails to return to her every day. 

definitely has quite a few tattoos. honestly too many to list right now but eventually.

Rae!! You beautiful sunshine radiant author. Reading your story was like a friend letting you borrow their new book. The cover is all nice and shiny that you feel you have to use fancy curator gloves. As you start to read you know you won’t stop. You flip (scroll) each page delicately as you know it filled with sincerity.

As I was reading it, I remembered the gift you hinted at us when you shared briefly about your AU. At 1st I thought it was the post-card and I thought, ahh I found it. But later on THE GIFT happen. And omg it was just so beautiful 🥺

My favorite parts

Their flirtationship: reading their beginning caused nothing but warm and fuzzy feelings. It was romantic and endearing and I love reading every moment, every banter, everything they shared.

The ANGST!!! First of all it was good I love it as well!! In all seriousness it possibly was my favorite part. The moment the topic of forever comes up and the realization they have differing thoughts on it, I felt my stomach drop. It was like reading a fear come to life. I empathized with reader so much. In that moment, I was like.. “there’s going to be a happy ending?, right?” because their conflict just hit so hard!! 💔😭. Then my 2nd angst-adjacent part that I enjoyed was when Gwen was brought up. First of all, it was handled with such eloquence. It was beautiful to read. I love reader’s initial reaction, it was genuine and realistic. The eventual acceptance from reader was touching to read making everything so much more profound.

You've picked up on my favorite parts, as well! Which makes me sooo happy!! I loved writing their banter and their flirtations. The angst was SO HARD to write because I wanted it to be realistic -- I wanted there to be a BIG change in Peter the moment this got brought up because he's still fragile and defensive. We've seen him so far through reader's lens -- he's rose-colored and sweet and poetic. But they haven't had any challenges yet. And the moment they did, both of them were different.

But they collectively realized they had made a mistake (Peter was cruel; the reader was putting all of her ideals onto Peter), and had to grow from it or move on from each other. I truly hope that came across.

And YES! I loved writing a latina!reader (as always). That she offers to make Peter birria and to teach him endearments. Was just so fun for me to write.
