– ♔ Insanity was a broad statement, really. One that could blanket a large number of people in Auradon, just as it could those who were from the Isle. Unfortunately for the former glorious golden kingdom, the new rulers fell under that blanket and that right there, would be their downfall. Auradon would never recover and rightly so. Someone capable of ripping families apart was as cruel as those who used magic to drive a wedge between lovers; everyone was guilty. “Ye look feckin’ idiotic.” Comment is made directed at one of the aforementioned leaders, orbs of sapphire watching lazily as the other moves about the room; the sound of trinkets bouncing off of each other the only other sound. Harry Hook did not look natural coated in jewels and rings of Auradonian gold. R e d had always been a more suiting color.

    no matter how much time passed by, harry could still hardly believe most of the riches that he continued to come across in the castle. even after years, he could still come across something new and exciting that he hadn’t seen previously. perhaps it was the pirate nature in him that was always seeking out any sort of buried treasure even if it all belonged to him now as king of auradon. giggling softly, the first mate turned his head as he flashed kat a wide, teasing grin. “wha’, ye don’t like tae see me covered in jewels, eh??” raising his right hand, harry wiggled the fingers covered in numerous rings. “personally, i think it be a fitting change fer me. rightful fer a king o’ me status.”

his personality has not changed at all. he’s still very snarky, prideful, wild, and pretty darn unpredictable with what he’ll do or say. he has very little love for the ak kids and will, more often that not, give them a hard time and just be as difficult as he can

harry is a flirt. a really, really big flirt. comes with his charismatic personality, and a lot of the time he uses it as a tool to get what he wants. harry knows he’s attractive. he knows people find him attractive. he’ll flirt with vks and aks, doesn’t matter to him. boy, girl, non-binary, he doesn’t give a damn. he’s not at all ashamed of being bisexual and he’ll sure as heck flaunt it around to mess with people, just to flirt, or whatever. it’s a fun time for him

king of auradon since he and uma are married and living their best lives after taking over

he is extremely attached to uma and gil, though. super attached. he is very loyal and would never leave their sides. ever.

literally would die for uma. he would do anything she asked, very rarely questions it

at the same time, he’s so attached and willing to do whatever for uma and the crew because he’s afraid that if he doesn’t, then they won’t need him anymore and toss him away.

harry has a bit of a thing with living up to his dad and aspiring to be like him. he carries a hook on his hand so he can resemble his dad more, and that hasn’t remotely changed one bit. he did try to get tic-tock to bite his hand off before so he could have a real hook like his dad, but the crocodile just looked at him and went back to sleep

harry isn’t completely mentally stable. he has more than a few issues that he refuses to acknowledge. uma and gil are the ones that keep him together rather than falling apart

he had a pretty big reputation on the isle. one, very cruel and someone not to be messed with. two, he sorta was a man whore. got around a bit and has absolutely no shame of it whatsoever.

at a younger age he used to be a lot different. more carefree, open. friendly. but his dad saw too much of peter pan in him, and that was quickly snuffed out. harry has dealt with abuse most of his life, physical, mental, and emotional.

plays the piano and is actually really good at it. but only uma and gil and his sisters are aware of this particular habit

    he isn’t remotely surprised to find kat in his lap just mere seconds after his gaze had caught sight of her. such things weren’t unusual for the two of them even if they may draw attention from other patrons within the room. not that harry remotely gave a damn about any type of judgmental stares people wanted to give them. arms snaking around her waist, the pirate snickered softly at her clear excitement. “ye gonna let me in on this fantastic news o’ yers?? or are ye gonna leave me ‘anging??”

– & Soft glow of sapphire drifts from the tips of her fingers, resting atop the railing of the deck overlooking the open waters; MAGIC daring to spill forth and cause havoc. Yet it’s still docile as she stares out into the night, vaguely aware of the door opening as voices cascade out only to be snuffed in a matter of seconds; signalling Uma to the arrival of someone else. Gentle tone reaches out calmly though form doesn’t move from her spot, “I’m not the best company tonight.”

    this was hardly an odd situation to find his captain in. there were often nights the both of them would often stare out blankly at the open waters. harry, always dreaming of the day when they could finally have that freedom. wishing to sail the open seas without anything to hold him back. now the barrier was open though those dreams had been shattered long ago as the years had continued to drag on. there’s no hesitation as harry moves closer even with the words, hook free arm slipping around her waist as he rested his chin upon uma’s shoulder. “think tha’ is gonna stop me?? wha’ can i do fer ye, love??”

i do headcanon that while harry is unaware of who is mom is, she is a siren which makes him half-siren. however, he has no knowledge of this whatsoever so it’s a complete mystery for him.

harry is an extremely violent person who will resort to violence as his first instinct. he is incredibly prideful of who he is and what he can do, and tends to have more of a wild and unpredictable nature to his actions. despite this, he is charismatic and is known to draw people close. harry has no concept of personal space boundaries, and uses touch as a form of intimidation.

Current Life

he definitely has no love for auradon and most likely never will. especially after the sea 3 were willing to help until they learned that opening the barrier had been a complete lie. harry wasn’t going to do a damn thing with that knowledge.

remaining on the isle for the years that he has definitely has.... put him into an even worse mental state than before. though he’s unaware of it, he does suffer from complex post-traumatic stress disorder ( c-PTSD ) and body integrity identity disorder ( BIID ) specifically with his left hand. he’s definitely gotten worse over the years without getting the help he needs or having that freedom.

so he’s not happy. he’s angry at auradon for keeping them trapped while they got to live their happily ever after. and he’s for damned sure ready to tear it all to pieces. 

does work in auradon as a professional sailor mainly to keep an eye on things and to spy. 

in an open relationship with uma. the dynamic works very well for them and has since they decided to be honest about their feelings for one another. sure, harry might flirt with other people and sleep around still but his heart belongs to uma and he never fails to return to her every day. 

definitely has quite a few tattoos. honestly too many to list right now but eventually.
