The day before yesterday I checked FB to find that photo via 🌶️ 🍆 🥦 Vegan Santa Claus … 🎅 and then I decided I will make it come true about a simple dish like that Santa picture at the time. a light food recipe with rice cooker only at my studio on Eve Christmas dinner alone celebration, have fun also bring a little inner joy, while I cook I always happy. Of course it’s yummy. ha! 😋 I definitely won’t be able to finish all the potatoes in one meal, so I’ll save them and make mashed potatoes the next day, never wasting food.

Help I cannot contain myself I just watched a clip of the vegan teacher (I'll put the link if I find it) and she got upset over Alastor for Hazbin Hotel. Specifically the scene where he plucks some meat from the corpse of a dear and eats it. And I'm laughing so hard because she's throwing a fit over him eating meat when the whole joke of that scene was that as a dear like (Wendigo) demon eating a dear it's cannibalism.

Today we are going to cook masale bhat (मसाले भात) or masala rice. This dish is quick and easy to prepare. All you need is some veggies, rice, some masalas ( red chilli, goda masala), salt and sugar for taste.

Steps:

1. Wash rice and keep aside for 30 mins

2. Cut all veggies

3. In a cooker, add oil.

4. Add jeera, hing and mustard seeds

5. After sizzle, add veggies and washed rice.

6. Add all masalas, salt and sugar.

7. Fry for a while.

8. Add boiling water ( for 1 cup of rice add 2 cups water and for 2-3 cups of veggies add 0.5 - 1 cup of water.)

9. Close the cooker lid and wait for 2 whistles

10. Garnish with coriander and coconut and serve hot!
