ok so.

3DMV cuts of songs written for past events is kinda huge to trying to figure out what the fuck is going to happen in the new world links.

if the songs that are chosen are to do with what happens in the event itself then that means they'd have to be based on events that have 3dmvs to begin with (probably)

current 3dmv contenders are

Toya: Mirai, Blender, Haven Akito: Cinema, Kashika, Fuel Kohane: Flyer, Realise, Ultra C An: Forward, City

Haven is too new rly imo and I don't think SCSD is really as hyped as Blender is, also Blenders event rly goes hard that boy suffers in there. they'd have a lot to play with

my gut is telling me that Akito isn't going to be Fuel, i don't see a world where it is. Cinema and Kashika are both very likely, i kinda want it to be Kashika more cuz I think they could do a lot with the event its from but also Stray Bad Dog goes so hard that I actually don't know what id prefer. Stray Bad Dog is iconic, they could do a lot of thinking about Arata's character progression in this timeline. So im leaning to realistically its gonna be Cinema. (also Cinema is like. so popular idk why they wouldn't pick Cinema yknow? It's fucking Cinema)

Ultra C feels like the obvious choice but I do think that any Kohane pick would be a peak choice, but Ultra C is fucking Ultra C yknow? That's fucking Rad Weekend. UNLESS they do realise and mess around with the aftermath of LUTF stuff which would be cool also but i don't think that's gonna happen. Flyer is a firm perhaps but i wouldn't hold out any hope

Closing out the world link on An's being City. I do not see a world where they pick Forward over fucking City. It's gonna be a punch in the gut for her. An being last in the World Link is so fucking heartbreaking already and the fucking event isn't even out yet im gonna lose my fucking shit. City is such an important song for An. It's gonna be fucking City

Also if my prediction of City/Machi is right then that means that there's no issue with Toya and An having the same producer for blender and forward, since surely they wouldn't have both lmao.

PJSK Needs to Work on it's Card Distribution

I'll just say it the four star distribution this year is bad, not because the cards look bad or anything in fact I'd say the card art has never looked better, the distribution is just so unbalanced.

Kohane has had 4 four stars this year and they're all limited AND IT'S STILL JUNE!

It's the sixth month, that's and average of a lim card every 1.5 months. That's insane. If you're not counting World Link that's still 3 limited cards in a span of a six months.

If you want a comparison the amount of cards Airi has gotten this year is the same as the amount of limited cards that Kohane has gotten this year, AND ONLY ONE OF THEM IS A 4 STAR!

Airi's gotten four cards total this year and her only 4 star is from World Link.

Well that's exclusively an issue with Airi, I think all the other characters have gotten at least 2 four stars this year, but some of them haven't even gotten a limited hairstyle this year. Airi truly is the least favorite child.

Airi, Rui, Len, and Rin have not gotten any new hairstyle's this year, while Kohane has gotten 3. I don't think I even need to explain why this is insane.

And don't even get me started on the fact that this is a back to back limited VBS event. They don't need another one, the literally had one back in March and now we have another one in June.

Am I just salty that Tsukasa5 isn't lim?

Yes, yes I am. I was very much looking forward to samurai WxS being a lim set, but that's besides the point.

This is bad for both Kohane fans and non-Kohane fans alike.

Non-Kohane fans aren't going to pull for this cause why would they?

And Kohane fans are not going to have enough crystals for the cards they want.

Look Rui and Airi are in desperate need for another limited hairstyle. Rui's last one was literally last year in Pandemonium and Airi's was back in late July of last year with the cafe set. They really need it.

dfghhjkl yeah i've seen those claims and I firmly believe that anyone who's saying any of that needs to take reading comprehension 101. I've talked about this claim a little bit here but to reiterate, kageyama and hinata's bond- their unique connection, the meaningfulness of it, the way that they support and teach and learn from each other- is one of the core aspects of the series. Like, there were so many instances of people commenting about how special their relationship was that I made a list. This post here I think are also relevant to addressing this. (if you couldn't tell, i talk about this a lot lol. But I don't mind talking about it some more)

Point is, they mean a lot to each other. And yes, haikyuu does make a point of showing how volleyball isn't always a 1 v 1 comparison to irl and how volleyball doesn't have to mean everything to be meaningful but at the same time, that's inapplicable to hinata and kageyama because the other side of that coin is that sometimes, volleyball is everything. It could not possibly be more in your face that Kageyama and Hinata formed an instantaneous connection and became a duo to be feared like overnight because they recognized that the other person is exactly like them- someone who will give everything for volleyball, who will never give up, a person who complements them. and understands them. Kageyama's little backstory moment that changed everything (and fucked me up permanently) is that he's been waiting for (someone like) Hinata his entire life. So what if they're not be hanging out 24/7 outside of volleyball? (which they do hang out outside of matches btw later on in life, kageyama asked hinata to play beach vb with kunimi and kindaichi) They already have a mutual understanding about the importance of volleyball in their lives. Also like, even in the last chapter/panel of haikyuu literally just reiterates that for the two of them, volleyball and each other and intrinsically intertwined elements and that they intend on revolving around each other as partner/rivals for the rest of their lives.

If we're looking only at the anime, that list i linked above is entirely taken from season. Like, the the sheer weight of kageyama "i can spike, toss, etc by myself" tobio saying the words "as long as you're with me, you're invincible" like 1-2 episodes later?? This bullshit where kageyama extracts a promise from hinata to follow him to the top of the world still happens in the anime too. That bit in the first Seijoh match where Kageyama says that Oikawa's going to set to Iwaizumi, not because it's the most logical move but because he trusts him so innately that it's the most natural move to make and then going on to make the exact same set to Hinata in the same match?? The extra animated linger on Kageyama and Hinata's fingers touching as they stop the Miya's quick? Oikawa and Atsumu both saying that Kageyama's "wrapped around Hinata's finger"?

two-three years before the events of the sumeru arc, cyno is caught snooping into akademiya records, suspicious of their actions. out of fear of what he could uncover, and a need to get him out of the way without anyone questioning it, cyno is forcibly exposed to the contents of a divine knowledge capsule, driven to madness, before being dumped in Aaru village. reports say he often looked out towards the desert, almost longingly with what little sense he had left.

One day, cyno goes missing. the inhabitants of aaru village try to find him, of course, but unfortunate timing means a sandstorm rises and covers his wandering, stumbling tracks. it's concluded that he wandered into the desert that he loved so much, and perished in the sandstorm. he is grieved, the news is sent to his loved ones. but his chapter is closed.

what actually happened was the temple of silence got their hands on him again. feeling both an obligation to cyno, and excitement over the potential of uncovering how to destroy forbidden knowledge, the temple decides to try their hand at healing him...by tampering with his memories of the knowledge.

is there any stories i should read before reading the vs world link? i feel like the let your song resonate in sekai event might be important

actually let your song resonate isn't too important here, neither is Sakura Across SEKAI. I do recommend reading both but not having the information of what happens in them shouldn't affect your experience too much. Like the biggest takeaway from Resonate is that the default vsingers watch over their sekai versions, this event revolves around that, and I just told you that so now you don't need the event.

The most important are probably Miku's first fes story and the main stories (primarily flashback sections + the opening chapter of LN, VBS, and WxS). Everything else mostly gets explained in the event or straight up has extracts from past event stories.

SO. SOME BIG CHANGES.

will be having a "theme" for each group to make things easier on myself because coming up with an individual theme for everyone is a nightmare. These are just some ideas, and I have more ideas than others for certain groups

WxS: Myths and mystical creatures, card deck, or a marching band.

I'm iffy on the card deck idea because well. World Link. All aces. I don't wanna just steal everything from canon. But if I go through with it... Tsukasa is the joker, Rui is the king, Nene is the queen, and Emu is the Jack (I think that's what it is).

For myths and legends tsukasa would be either a pegasus or a phoenix or even a dragon, Nene would be a mermaid, Emu would be a fairy, and rui would be a wizard/alchemist.

For marching band, Emu would play the tube or trumpet, Nene would play the flute, and rui and tsukasa are the conductor and the drum player I'm not sure which one goes where. This idea is the most cohesive but idk what powers I would give them other than. Music. This idea would actually be based off of the Let Your Song Resonate Throughout the SEKAI event rather than their own event cards.

N:25: Tarot cards. Tarot cards. Tarot cards. Lower save me.

Mizuki is obviously The Reverse Hermit and Kanade is The Reversed Hanged Man, but Mafuyu and Ena are the ones i have to do on my own.

For Mafuyu I'm thinking either Reversed Empress or Reversed Hierophant. Honestly both of them could be incorporated because they represent her during different stages of her development. Maybe if there ends up being like. An evolution of ones costumes. She could look more like the Reversed Empress at the beginning and then end up looking more like Reversed Hierophant at the end. just an idea

I'm looking at Reversed Chariot or Reversed Strength Ena. BUT I'm not 100% sure these represent her character well, so if anyone has anything to say about my choice here then go for it.

MMJ: Tokyo Mew M- I mean animal magical girls. Haruka could be a penguin, shizuku a dove, airi a cat, and maybe squirrel Minori? I need help with Minori. Maybe lamb Minori. Idc that lambs are associated with kohane she's a hamster that's the end of it. Also this is def gonna take from both their DREAM PLACE and Ai No Material outfits.

ANOTHER IDEA!!! their theme could be "gemstones" and they could take from their jewelery box set. Minori is sunstone, Haruka is aquamarine, Shizuku is jade, and Airi is spinel. These gems are all just from the project sekai Jewelery Box card game I think it is?

VBS: Okay so this one is most likely gonna be the most diverse out of all of them. Their theme is seasons. Kohane is spring (because spring baby), An is summer (she just gives off those vibes + her fiery spirit, Akito is fall because of the fact that his name normally gets mistaken for "fall" (look it up its on the wiki) and toya is winter (because mirai).

Akito is going to be based on his Kashika card (I think I can do something with the red strings) An is going to be based on her Machi card, Kohane is going to be based off of her Flyer Card (ty hoc) and her Beat Eater card (big ol hammer), and toya will be based off of his mirai and maybe Valentine's Day cards. Maybe. All of them are most likely going to take elements from blender.

L/N: Times of day. Was originally going to do this with VBS, but I moved it to Leoni.

I'm not too sure about the order but for now I will say that honami is morning, saki is midday, shiho is evening, and ichika is night.

All of them are going to be taking elements from the From Tokyo set, saki especially. Honami is going also use elements from her fea card (if I find a way to incorporate it), Shiho will take from her Draw Your Bow card (idk I like the outfit) and ichika I'm undecided on but she'll either take from her Stage of SEKAI card or her Made To Order card..

I keep thinking about the Virtual Singer from each Sekai and what do they mean

Like what do they represent, what and who makes them appear and what does it mean to the related character

For a long while I thought each VS was linked to a specific kid, based on the focus where they appeared and who it was related to, mostly because of Niigo because... Damn each of them got their assigned VS for a year and half pratically you all know what I mean

But it didn't quite fit all the units and it also fit Niigo less than before, so it couldn't be that

So I kept thinking and

I think each Virtual Singer represent a... "concept", some very specific feelings from each kids

The one I'm the most sure about are VBS and L/N but I just can't explain L/N because they're so obvious to me I don't have the words to express it, so I'll use VBS VS as an example

Starting with Miku

Well, it's pretty simple... Miku is the only one I don't have a clue about (But she's often related to Toya now that I think about it)

So !

Meiko is so obviously that mentor figure, like the role-model... And by that I obviously mean RADers. The way she gives huge Nagi-san and Ken-san vibe and the similarity you can notice between her and those two definitely comes from An and Akito's perception of them, I don't need to elaborate on why I think

Rin and Len are the definition of "partner". I mean, An literally said it in Len 1* side story, she don't see them as sibling or lovers, but as singing partner

And each time one of the kids has some trouble with their specific partner, it reflects on Rin and Len, without much surprise.

They probably both has a distinct meaning, I think about Len's fear of being left behind and being kinda jealous in bout for beside you that obviously fit An but also Akito (those two again, Akito and An are as easy to read as open books it seems. Funny cause they're not the one fond of reading- ahem.), But I can't fully grasp it tbh...

I think I should precise I'm only aware of the stories out on EN before I keep going

Because VBS Kaito and Luka have only one focus feat on EN rn (Vivid Old Tale is the current event) so I could be wrong or maybe I've missed something

But oh by God Miku they make me ill I have to elaborate on them

Kaito first, he appeared during SBD, an Akito focus

And the sweet tooth aside, no one would ever think he looks like Akito. You could even say he's the complete opposite, with his airhead behavior and his innate talent. I even saw some people comparing him to Toya

Meanwhile Luka appeared, or she most likely came back, during SDSC, Toya's focus

And... Well she's also an airhead, kinda. People doubt her link to Toya way less than Kaito's one with Akito, but when you look at it she's everything Toya would think he isn't. She's the carefree and emotionnal one who just go with the flow without thinking about the technical side of things much (something Kaito is way better at even he doesn't seem so). Like, she's just... Living at her fullest, you know

They are everything but alike the kid they came around for... So what does it mean ?

Well I would say Kaito and Luka are what Akito and Toya wish they were, kind of. Akito's frustation being depicted during SBD, how he was chasing after Toya all this time and still kind of do

Toya who was compared to Kaito by ppl (not in game as far as I know), and who's also some kind of talented airhead...

Toya's wish to experience new things in SDSC, that part when he mention how he "has done so little with my [his] life..." But how he would catch up now that he can

And the way how if you ask Toya, the one who made him discover than a such freedom was possible, and kind of open the door for him to this carefree world is Akito. And how he would not be here without him

You know? Upcoming rui escapes me. Mainly because we're entering a new arc and rui Isn't stuck on the same thing again (because wxs arent leaving eachother for the time being which is what he was waffling about). There's been a few bits and pieces of him reflecting on like "I need to know more about being a director than an inventor right now" because he wants to push tsukasa and nene forward...

...that. That is assuming, that we're going to get a current Rui event - but also i dont think its out of the blue for there to be a flashback event either? We've gotten so many lately... and we HAVE gotten rui as a kid but we've barely touched upon his middle school years so? Could possibly? be about that? the coordinates in the trialer being where he and nene crossed paths and then he walked off on her...

...but then you think more about like. would a commission like the one in the trailer fit. for this kind of event... unless its. Going for a completley different tone. I DIGRESS!!

In terms of other stuff though i do want like. a Neon..set... I think Ruiemukasa 4* are confirmed (because in this wxs rotation, theyve only had one each) so im only hoping nene can get a 3* and we can have a full set... i want something with ROBOTS. i wa nt something like? omg there are so many... we would love to see yukari, IA, Piko, Fukase, SF-A2 Miki, and flower added! even though we know it wouldn't happen, especially with some of the synth's company/rights stuff. I also think teto would be a super cool addition :)

we would super love to see yukari's different designs in different Sekais, she's one of our favorites and think she definitely has the range to fit into each Sekai perfectly <3

ok so we're going to do this as individual cards/not both trained and untrained, just one side, to make it easier to pick <3 also we numbered these but they aren't necessarily in order or anything

1) the resonating with you trained set!! we can't just pick one, they all go together so well and have such a lovely vibe to them!! the change in lighting/progression through the day, their outfits, how much fun they're having together, it's so good 💚

2) ok we're definitely biased because transmasc Mafuyu but this card is so pretty

3) Luka cherry blossoms!!! this is one of our absolute favorites, easily our favorite vocaloid card

4) yes we are doing another full Leo/need set we just love them so much and this set is so beautiful. the implications of moving on and train imagery honestly this whole event was AMAZING

5) WEDDING SHIZU!!!! this is one of our favorite costumes too shizuku is so so pretty

6) these cards are everything to us, probably our favorite mmj set- Minori focuses are always bangers and this one is no exception <3

7) get over it but specifically trained ichisaki + untrained ichi!!! the colors in this set are so good, they scratch our brain, and it just feels so funky and cute. plus we love any cards with multiple Leo/need members <3

8) re:tie friendship trained set!!!! yes another mmj set aksjajjd this is our 1st or 2nd favorite mmj sets, the lighting is gorgeous and it feels so... hopeful and emotional

This is just a very long and unimportant rant about Project SEKAI limited Gachas on here real quick, because I'd like to let off some steam (and see if other pjsk gacha/card addicts see this and understand the struggle, lol). Rant under the cut, feel free to scroll if you aren't interested, but...

TLDR; there are so many limited cards I wanna pull for and not enough time to save for them all, and I am in dire need of a miracle from Hatsune Miku herself.

Okay, so I've recently decided I'm going to give up impulse pulling on my main/EN account completely (I'm still pulling on JP, since I don't care as much about that account), so I can save up for the limited event cards that I really, really want to actually get when they come out.

And checking how much time we have between now and when they come to EN... I am so royally fucked.

To start, some time in November, we're supposed to have the first rerun of the Spooky Forest Gacha. I have been wanting to pull on that one for a while now, because the cards are lovely, and I really really want Little Lamb Minori especially.

However, I'll likely end up skipping that one, especially since this is gonna running either before, during, or after the Nightcord at 25 World Link, and I really want the cards for this event sooner rather than later. A; because they're beautiful and B; N25 are my second favorite unit.

Directly after that is Tsukasa4, which I'm not pulling for even though it has my favorite Tsukasa card in the whole game, because directly after that is The Best Picture Wrap, which is another event I really want the full set from, and I will never be able to pull for both.

Then, only two events after that is Next to the Unchanging Warmth, which is a colorfes (so 2x chance for 4*stars + chance to get colorfes cards) and a Mizuki focus mixed event (I love Mizuki so much, and this is definitely one of my favorite Mizuki cards in the game), so this is another event I really really want to pull from.

THEN I have to skip the VBS World Link (which I'm not too sad about) and Blacklight Lens Flare (which I am quite sad about), because during the next four to five event periods after them there are EIGHT FUCKING LIMITED GACHAS RERUNNING I WANT TO PULL FOR. EIGHT.

The fucking cherry on top of this crystal sapping sundae??? The fucking Wonderlands x Showtime World link starts four fucking events after Blacklight Lens Flare. WxS is my favorite unit, followed closely by N25, and I love the WL cards for both these units.

(I first downloaded the JP server so that I could play Blacklight Lens Flare, and every time another rerun of a limited Gacha I really wanted the cards from popped up, followed by WxS WL, I felt my hopes and dreams slowly die. At this point, they are nothing but cremated ashes.)

After the WxS WL, Toya4 comes out and is immediately followed by Rise As One, aka 3.5 anniversary, which means the colorfes typical 2x drop rate for 4*stars + the colorfes cards for Saki, Tsukasa and Emu, which I also really want and will definitely not be able to pull for while also pulling for the world link.

Thankfully, if I decide not to pull for literally anything before it (including the first ever bloomfes, the MMJ and Leo/need WL's, and others), I have 13 events to save up for the Virtual Singer/Vocaloid World Link. It's not all great, seeing as I want to get all six cards during the event since I likely won't have many more chances to get my hands on them, but it's better than everything, I suppose.

If I do manage to get them all in minimal pulls, I might even be able/willing to spare a few for the second Spooky Forest rerun, and The Divine Beasts' New Years Gacha (another one I really want all the cards from), but that's very unlikely, especially considering the Project SEKAI drop rates and how amazing their recent cards have been looking.

If you've read all the way through this, thank you for listening to me complaining about the consequences (being able to get all the cards I really want) of my own actions (impulse pulling/not saving my crystals).

kanade honestly really really really resonates with me as a character, and mizuki is MIZUKI, they probably woulda been higher but just got bumped out bc of other characters between them. ALSO THO i love their cohesion in the group & i love their relationships with others but i think they can feel kinda one note at times in ways that i personally don't really vibe with

mizuki is the first one to be all-but-word of god-confirmed to be trans and that's so awesome but idols whose central conflict revolves around gender (specifically even escaping masculinity) have existed forever she's just the first character to get the "full send" treatment

meanwhile kanade falls into a support role and i'm sure she'll probably be the next to snap if they keep hunting down the N25 members like that but until she does it just kinda feels like she gets pushed to the sidelines even as a very important & pivotal character. WHICH I KNOW IS THE POINT but i want to get into the meat of her issues more. yknow??

Hi! A few weeks ago, in an answer, you made reference to Volker Bruch's role in Unsere Mütter, Unsere Väter. I've never seen it and had been wanting to (although I'm arguably less motivated now that Volker Bruch has been so ... ugh lately), but would you mind expanding upon what you meant? This whole situation is so disappointing and frustrating (but I say this as someone who only discovered BB/VB in December of last year)!

Oh boy, where to begin! The issues with Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter are so layered. I guess I'll break it down into: (1) Issues with the miniseries itself, and (2) issues with the reception of it.

1) So as to the first point, it's been a long time since I saw and I don't want to be too negative about it. It's well-made and some parts of it are better than others. I remember that I didn't think the writing was great (that's true for many German productions where the scripts tend to be the weak link), like it relied too much on coincidental meetings of characters in unlikely scenarios and so on. But okay, whatever. The actual issue with the miniseries arises from the way in which it was titled and marketed ("our mothers, our fathers" – of course Generation War sounds a bit more oblique in English and obfuscates that the people behind the miniseries wanted to do something that was supposedly representative of what "our" immediate ancestors went through during the war). From a historian's POV, the group of young people that they chose to focus on was really not in any way, shape or form representative of most young German people at the time and you can't blame the Polish for being pissed about the representation they got (which painted the Polish partisans as antisemitic and the issue with that wasn't that antisemitism didn't exist among Polish partisans but rather that the way the miniseries emphasizes their antisemitism while being way too revisionist about the German protagonists in that regard is just not a good look). A history professor put everything into words that I was thinking back then, it's in German but you can put it through DeepL and I highly recommend the read, regardless of how you feel about the miniseries: https://taz.de/Unsere-Muetter-unsere-Vaeter/!5070893/ ("Nazis are always the others" – yes there are some evil German Nazis of course, the cliché ones, the commanding officers, the Gestapo guy and so on but we are not invited to identify with them, we are not invited to consider them part of our ancestry and we are also not invited to consider that most Germans at the time were not victims of circumstance but active participants in the system, unless we're talking about resistance groups which were obviously the exception and not what the miniseries posits as the core 'generation' – one who, we might add, would've been exactly the one to have gone through the whole youth indoctrination unlike older people at the time). So yeah there's a lot to unpack there in terms of how German remembrance culture works and I'll leave it at that, it's a huge topic that would need its own essay. The miniseries is 'fine' TV but it has a certain role in cultural memory production that is, at the very least, questionable and should be considered with some critical distance from its qualities as a drama.

2) There's another issue though and that's more what I was referring to. Basically Volker Bruch playing a Wehrmacht soldier in that miniseries gained him quite a following of wehraboos and in some cases straight up Neonazis. For the longest time, whenever you were searching for posts about him here on Tumblr, they came from accounts that... man, how do I say this. Okay first of all wehraboos are Wehrmacht stans and I came across a big number of them in this context (and in the context of Volker Bruch fandom specifically) where their tumblrs were all about the aesthetic~ of German Wehrmacht soldiers and I just... to say that I found these blogs disturbing is putting it mildly. Often these were run by young women from countries like the Netherlands, Italy or wherever else in the world and my only explanation for this phenomenon is that they grew up with a very stereotypical view of Germans during WWII = evil, so when they discovered that some of them were young (sometimes handsome) men who were also just regular guys, they took this to mean that everyone had been terribly mistaken to lump in 'regular' soldiers with the SS and so they ran in the other direction. I mean, obviously there are distinctions to be made. But the Wehrmacht was also heavily involved in war crimes, so. All that teenage fawning over black and white pictures of real people who may have been involved in real atrocities... well. But that was still comparatively mild. When I first made Babylon Berlin gifs (before it was shown in the US on Netflix, before I made this sideblog, before there was a sizeable interest in these gifs aside from Volker Bruch stans), the accounts that reblogged them... I mean, there were actual Neonazi accounts among those. One I will never forget. Back then I still looked at reblogs to see if people had some commentary in the tags and so I opened this one blog and it was dedicated to Reinhard Heydrich, the "Butcher of Prague". On the front page, there were reblogs of Hitler gifs. Hitler greeting some kids, people doing the Nazi salute. The rest I've blocked from my memory. I had accidentally stumbled across a corner of Tumblr that was entirely sinister. I felt so sick. I ended up blocking and reporting it but this hellsite never gave me a reply so who even knows if anything happened.

So long story short: Ever since then I've resented the fact that Volker Bruch being in Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter gained him Neonazi followers (also tells you something about the miniseries, doesn't it) and I also resented that me just wanting to make Babylon Berlin gifs meant I had to see this stuff. So I stopped making any BB gifs (or at least any containing him) for a while and it's also the reason I never made many gifs of Gereon unless requested. I don't want to say that I feel vindicated after finding out that Volker Bruch is a complete idiot because I never paid much attention to him personally but I was also never his biggest fan, I find his acting range limited, he has a certain vibe and look that goes well with certain period dramas (actually only 20th century ones because he looked rough in the Goethe movie... I actually much prefer Alexander Fehling as an actor but that's neither here nor there). Anyway, there you go.

for the more more jump cover i think actually has a chance, i'd say orange genome! IT'S.......a LITTLE on the obscure side but it's hall of legend which to me means it's probably popular enough!! it's just such a catchy and bittersweet song to me, it's like light and bubbly enough to work for the idol group while still having a pretty sad meaning which TENDS to be what i like the most from mmj (i.e. milk crown, patchwork staccato). it also has lots of love-related themes which tends to be what they get so pleas....

as for the less likely more more jump cover, that'd be marshmary! mimi songs are all SO GOOD, and honestly if any of them were to get in it'd probably be this one? so i DO have my fingers crossed a little more than other unlikely songs...but it's just SUCH a catchy song, again see what i said above for like. a very light and bubbly and cute instrumental but with some sadder lyrics which i love love love from them so :pleading_face:

for vivid bad squad, a song i want from them that i feel has a solid chance is delusion tax! we NEEEED more boy/girl duet covers in vbs and i feel like this is the PERFECT song for an akito/an duet, it has a very good balance between like. hard rock and electronic, which fits them well...the lyrics are all about desires and wishing on the future too, which fits their characters since they're the ones with the biggest drives and goals in the group, and i think it would be fun i <3 deco songs

for wonderlands x showtime, a likely song i'd love to see from them is 1,2 fanclub! it's just SUCH a catchy and fun and absurd song which i feel fits them really well. emu and nene covers are always so cute and fun and i feel like they would fit this super well, especially with the like few semi-serious lines in it about wanting your feelings to be understood and to communicate well, i think that's a little theme that can actually fit both of them on top of just being a silly funny nonsense song :3

and for unlikely song..............god i wanna say like almost any niru kajitsu song here BUT i gush about him enough as is so i'll go with netasone people instead! kinda same things as above of just being a very funky and absurd song, though the lyrics are a LITTLE darker which i feel can still fit them too, especially if rui gets involved (i think it fits him very well tbh!). ame no murakomo needs more recognition in general and this is my favourite song from him so dreaming
