I just imagine when he's helping build the specials menu, he makes sure to include a meal and a dessert you'd like for your birthday month, and to have one boxed up for you at the end of the shift. of course he doesn't mention it, doesn't bring any attention to it.

when you see it on the specials menu you smile to yourself and when you go to get your free meal you pick of the box and he doesn't look up but you giggle and you see him smiling to himself as scrapes off the stovetop.

My friend introduced me to a comic called Countdown to Countdown and OH MY GOD IT IS SO GOOD!!! The art style and all of the beautiful beautiful colors. Like the contrasting and just ughghgh I'm melting just thinking about it. There also is a big whumpy part and it's just so mhmmmm. I cannot recommend it enough. Right now the author is on a break getting ready for the next book, book three, and there is 400 pages right now. The author comes back April 12, and updates every Wednesday. CHECK IT OUT! It's so good, like just look at it!
