I love the way the Fiora/Meyneth dynamic is handled in the way Mio/M ended up being handled. Mio and Fiora were saved from their death through another being. Due to this, they feel they have to make a change in the world that they would've wanted, to honour their memory.

you and vanea were quite literally worlds apart! 

you lived on bionis, while vanea lived on mechonis

and yet, the two ended up meeting, after the world became anew

when the two of you met each other, you quickly realized that you weren't so different, despite having lived on two opposing titans

both of you had lost your people due to zanza, the high entia being turned into telethia, while the machina were killed during the attack of the bionis

yet a few of your kind had survived, just like vanea and yourself! 

though even after zanza was gone, the conflict hadn't quite ended yet

there were still homs and high entia that hated the machina for the crimes that the mechon had committed

but not you! you were one of those who realized how alike you truly were

you always stood up for any machina receiving unfair treatment by homs or even high entia! 

and that behavior was what made vanea notice you and long to get to know you! 

vanea was the one to make the first move, eager to get to know you, as well as find out more about the differences between mechonis and bionis

while the two of you could bond over your hatred for zanza and the loss of your people, you also learned more about each other's foods, technology or music! 

over time, you began to move on from the past and zanza rarely was a topic anymore

instead, you were much more interested in learning more about each other…

Am I reading too far into it or are Zanza and Meyneth’s human names made out of the names of their respective mortals from Xenoblade 1?

Klaus: Shulk backwards (kluhS -> Klaus)

Galea: either a feminized version of an anagram of Egil (gilE + a -> Galea) or a remix of both Egil and Vanea’s names gil + ea -> Galea

just realized I've never posted my Xenoblade Chronicles 3 ocs here, so why not change that! today I introduce to you: Vanaea the Bygone Warrior, and Bluebelle the Wistful Guard

I don't have many drawings of them, with that one being just from tonight, so bear with me for the lack of pictures.

so to start off with, here's some basic descriptions:

Vanaea - A reckless attacker, she constantly thirsts for a good battle. she often throws herself into conflict without a second thought, leading her partner (romantic) Bluebelle to go chasing after her and desperately try to draw the massive aggro away from her. she loves to live on the edge, and lives a somewhat careless life, living only for the adrenaline rush. when not putting her life on the line, she enjoys adventure as a whole. ever since escaping the flame clock through genocidal means, she has been wandering the world with Bluebelle, exploring every nook and cranny that Aionios has to offer. she is usually rather stoic in her display, though she can get excited very easily, especially in the face of a threat. she's always looks for a new experience, so that her life never gets dull as it reaches its bitter end. she escaped death once, and will continue to, all while hoping that her life never gets lost in vain. if she doesn't make it to her homecoming, then she at least wants to go out swinging. an unarmed death is a pathetic one, and she will fight like hell to see her life to its end.

Bluebelle - an apathetic Kevesi off-seer, this Machina lives only for the sake of seeing the next day. they don't fear death itself, with it being so prevalent in their life, but they instead fear the concept of the unknown after. what lies in that inky darkness when you close your eyes for good. so with a brittle heart, they fight on, keeping their girlfriend by their side. apart from living for the sake of avoiding the terrible unknown, they also live to protect. Vanaea has become their tether to the world, their reason to live amongst all this agony. however, their girlfriend's recklessness constantly worries them and gets on their nerves, so they often end up bickering over their exchange in danger. they're often quite tired, doing the bare minimum every day, all while playing deeply melancholic tunes on their standard Keves style flute.

Been thinking about this xenoblade chronicles 1 scene all day tbh

The way he just grabs shulk's entire face with his one hand and then lifts him up and throws him

His iconic line "your blade, it did not cut deep enough" alluring to both shulk's and vanea's words not reaching him and to prove the damage the monado did was virtually nothing

The way he grabs the monado, a sword made specifically to kill his people, and takes it out of his shoulder

Vanea's entire speech here is also so good, since it drives the point that everyone wants peace and for the mechonis and bionis to get along, with egil being the sole machina still wanting revenge and going through extreme lengths to get it

Silly Xenoblade things I'd draw if I had the ability:

- Kallian going through a rough wing molt.

- Egil working late on a new Mechon model in Central Factory, and he has a five o'clock shadow that's just rust.

- Egil crushing a watermelon (or one of those small round sentry Mechon) in-between his thighs.

- Vanea doing the same thing in-between her boobs.

Personally, I am an advocate for very tall Guts!Galea. Like, at least around as tall as some of the Machina like Vanea and Egil.

OK… yeah i think that's a pretty sick idea… can do!!! i… will be honest i have no idea how tall the machina are so i guess around 2 metres? dunno. im the worlds biggest fake xenoblade fan. one of my mutuals is also making her tall ^_^

(that said im horrendously inconsistent at this kind of thing lol i've rarely done sequential work except in my BRAIN…)

by the way i kind of thought thé machina just have really big hats so they're kind of just like… idk. six foot to me. i have no clue if they're supposed to be more
