Silly Xenoblade things I'd draw if I had the ability:

- Kallian going through a rough wing molt.

- Egil working late on a new Mechon model in Central Factory, and he has a five o'clock shadow that's just rust.

- Egil crushing a watermelon (or one of those small round sentry Mechon) in-between his thighs.

- Vanea doing the same thing in-between her boobs.

- Linada growing new organs for Fiora in high-tech jars, with Fiora being nosy and asking for custom features (i.e. a bigger stomach for all the eating she wants to do when back to normal).

Agreed on all counts. Thematically, I think it's important for most of the characters to be Just Some Guy, and it's a lesson many series need to remember (looking at you, Rey Palpatine). But also, because I'm a hypocritical little bastard, I love having all our heroes be descendants of previous ones.

I feel like the only way to justify linking Noah and Eunie back to the old heroes is if you do it with EVERYONE. Not just the obvious ones (Sena, Ashera). EVERYONE.

Lanz is Vanea's son, sure. Segiri and 13 are his sisters. Make the twins the older siblings too, to screw with things further.

Ethel is Noah's older sister. Honestly, I barely care who Noah's parents are. I like making him and Eunie Melia's twins just for added "wait, what," so throw Ethel on that pile too.

Alex is the daughter of Akhos and Obrona (she's got Obrona's horns). What, they're dead? Who cares?

Valdi is Linada's son. Why Linada? Why not?

Fiona is Electra's daughter (she has her emblem). No, I don't know how that would work, and I'm not taking notes.

Cam is Godfrey's son. You know, the Ice Blade who thinks he's a Fire Blade. I refuse to budge on this one.

There's more that people have come up with, and I love every single one of them.

I'm sure there's fan theories linking Noah to Shulk and Eunie to Melia but I think it's important for both of them to be Just Some Guy. I will however accept the similarly constructed conjecture that Lanz is Vanea's kid on account of that being really really funny

Melia/Dunban:

Would give Dunban an actual purpose in the main plot. Dunban is a history buff and knows more about High Entia than the others. He also took the most personal investment in the High Entia Tomb subplot next to Shulk.

Not to mention that scene when everyone gets split up on the Fallen Arm - who is Melia left with? Dunban and Riki. Who is the one who sensed what Riki was actually trying to do when he stopped for fish? Dunban.

Yes I know High Entia age 4x slower than humans and he would die before her time, but that didn’t stop Melia from falling for Shulk (seriously he already has Fiora he doesn’t NEED another romantic subplot). Also if not for Dickson’s dickery she would have had to take two husbands (heh, two dicks? Okay I will see myself out) anyway.

Also semi-unrelated but why TF wasn’t his arm restored at the end? If Linada can bring Fiora back to human she can certainly restore the use of an arm. Almost like the story forgot he ever existed…

Melia/Tyrea:

Would not have happened since, well, the game came out in 2009 and unfortunately makes them stepsisters.

But Future Connected came out in 2020 and if they wanted to go this route they could have made her a child of a random Bionite order member who died and Yumea her adoptive mother. And have the story no longer draw attention to the stepsister part as aggressively as it does normally (this means no more Nene spouting cringe ‘sister-pon’ BS).

As for the Alcamoth royal line, Teelan could be their adopted son IG. Alcamoth has been through enough shit that the people can look the other way when it comes to a gay relationship. Especially because blood purity is what did them in to start with.

TLDR - I believe in Melia getting over Shulk supremacy.

Melia should have gotten with either Dunban or Tyrea. Yes I am going to elaborate.

Naenae is. Such a funny character. Secondary antagonist/antihero who’s just a backstabbing bird man pirate. He’s such a jerk and I got so mad at him at parts of PoR and especially RD and that’s lovely. Honestly top tier character even if he isn’t in my favorites and I have a friend who really likes him despite never finishing Tellius bc well, he is A Good. I think the fandom is too picky abt the blood pact stuff when it comes to Naenae like yea it’s dumb but it makes sense for his motivations!

And uh. Geez. This is embarrassing but I didn’t remember who Linada was so I had to look her up and I audibly said “OH SHES THE LADY WITH THE BUTT ON HER HEAD!!” So I guess that’s my feelings on her lol oops. I should really replay xbc…….

Linada being all surprised that Fiora isn't a Machina is honestly so ridicilous in hindsight - like, all other Machina we see are around six or seven feet tall and have grey skin. Yeah, Fiora sure fits right in with them.
