The sunsets are not always amazing, but they are always beautiful, well to me at least. I dunno why, but sunsets over a city just do it for me. I like big cities and big city views. This view has a lot going on because the foreground takes up so much of the space, but there is just enough beauty up top to make the picture work. Thanks for stopping by, Rob

Heartbreak Diary - 6

One of my happiest memories of us was when we went to Vancouver. It was the Memorial Day weekend in September and the weather was perfect, just like you. I wore a long yellow floral dress with white lace. The dress fit tightly to my body, just enough to showcase both my curves and elegance. The sun was warm and soft enough but you wouldn't need sunglasses and I wouldn't need a jacket. Just perfect. My makeup was simple, yet the foxy eyelash extension added a bit of flirtation to my overall good-girl vibe. I knew I looked the best I could ever look then, and you were also in love that weekend. It was also the beginning of fall. All the maple leaves from trees fell onto the wide Canadian city street. Some fell onto the windshield of your black M-4. You just cleaned your car. The clear blue sky painted itself on your car. It was the most noticeable thing on that street. People were looking from across the street and taking pictures. You also waved at them, asking if they wanted a picture with your car.

My friend told me this one time she went to get a car wash. There was this guy there who just finished cleaning his car. The whole time she was there getting a detailed interior clean of her car, he was intently taking pictures of his car from every angle. "How fun!" She said. And the same obsession was with you that day. Bending down from a lower angle, you stood in the middle of the Canadian, wide, and empty street to take pictures of your car for at least fifteen minutes. I stood further on the street, taking pictures of you, thinking how hilarious and adorable you were with your obsession.

I live to love.

I loved that weekend with you before our big fights, before I cried the whole way home for two hours after we crossed the US border.

I just loved being with you, and I love you.

Life is a miracle because sometimes it lets me meet you and create joyful memories. It also sucks that we went our separate ways, and I might spend longer than the memories to miss and grieve us.

I only live through hoping. Hoping and believing that I do not need to sigh, or hung up on you. The best is yet to come.
