this is a message for women, whoever this may reach.
vote tomorrow. no matter what. vote. nothing is more important than this election, not for women.
Trump and Vance want to go further than taking away our reproductive rights. they want to track our pregnancies, force us to stay in abusive marriages, edge closer and closer to FORCED traditional (aka christian) marriages until we live in the Handmaids Tale as black women have before this.
if you are republican, that's okay. but if you value any of your human rights as a woman, you need to vote blue just this one time. you can be a republican, i will always respect that, but right now we all need to recognize that there is more at stake here than voting for your political al party. even if you're pro life, recognize that Trump has other policies that will be detrimental to women, and we need to vote for someone we do not love to be able to get back to democracy. Trump is a crisis. Trump is a threat to democracy. he quote literally cannot even follow the rules of this country, let alone enforce and protect them. he is a convicted rapist. he is a felon. he is an elderly, uber wealthy man who cares about nothing but the upper class white men of America. once he is defeated, we can go back to the conversation between political parties. republicans can go back to being republicans, but right now this is a crisis that is far larger than parties. this is about being an American. Trump is an anti-American as it gets, and believe it or not, as anti-religion as it gets. he sold his own, altered version of the Bible. he is a rapist. he is a pedophile. he and Vance believe it's okay to make up falsehoods to tell the American public. this country was built on flawed liberty, but Trump will take all liberty away. Trump is a crisis that is not a republican vs democrat issue. this is an America vs. threat to democracy issue. vote as an American. vote for America. Trump is NOT what America stands for. America, however flawed, is built on the promise of LIBERTY and JUSTICE for EVERYONE. liberty for everyone to practice whatever religion they choose, not just one religion being enforced everywhere. once the threat is passed, things can go back to normal. republicans can fight for republican candidates once more.
but women-republican women. this is bigger. do you want a President who rapes our sisters? do you want a President who would sleep with his own daughters if they weren't family? do you want a President who thinks he can grab you by the pussy just because he's famous? do you want a President who would make you stay with an abusive husband? think of your daughters. think of your sisters. who is he going to pardon? who is he going to protect? he will protect the rapists. the abusers. the monsters who wish to harm you and the women you love. maybe he'll ban abortion, and you'll like that, but then what? will you be happy when you can't get a divorce if your husband hits you? will you be happy when someone you love is raped, and the leader of your country supports that rape? will you be happy when the government has all your pregnancy records? will you?
and here's the thing, women. WE hold the power this election. OUR rights are at stake, and WE have the power to protect them. the polls right now are roughly tied for battleground states, but what those polls can't account for is the number of women each election that stay home. we will not stay home. if women turn out in record numbers, we will turn the tide in Harris' favor. so whatever you're doing tomorrow. vote. nothing is more important. don't let the anything make you too busy to not vote. we can make this

As Project 2025 becomes more and more of a detriment to Donald Trump’s campaign, the fingerprints of people close to the Orbán-government are becoming increasingly apparent. Recently, the project’s training videos for internal use were leaked, featuring several people cooperating with the Hungarian PM’s political network.
Since replacing Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris’s campaign positioned Project 2025, the roadmap created by a potential second Donald Trump presidency as a central issue of this year’s presidential election. Most recently, the Heritage Foundation’s project was bought up extensively during the August Democratic convention.
One speaker, Michigan state Senator Mallory McMorrow even brought a giant copy of the 900-page document, calling it the playbook of Trump’s prospective term and comparing its content to a dictator’s policies.
Trump for his part has been ambiguous about his relationship with the project. While reportedly endorsing it earlier, he denounced the project after it was targeted by the Democrats, claiming he knows nothing about it and doesn’t know who is behind them, while calling some of its content „ridiculous and abysmal”. In truth, many of Project 2025’s authors are former members of Trump’s administration.
Trump also did not help his case by appointing J.D. Vance as his running mate, a man close to Heritage Foundation’s president Kevin Roberts. Vance also attempted to distance himself from the project and claimed that he and Roberts were merely personal friends. In the Heritage Foundation, these denouncments led to the resignation of Project 2025 director Paul Dans.
A shift to illiberalism
Among other goals, Project 2025 envisions a massive purge of federal civil servants, replacing them with political appointees ready to further the agenda of „the next conservative administration”, removing many of the checks and balances that limit the executive branch’s power. Critics compared the roadmap to the strategies employed by autocratic leaders often praised by Trump, such as Hungary’s Viktor Orbán.
Orbán’s political network likely had direct influence on Project 2025: Heritage Foundation and many of Project 2025’s authors have a history of working with organizations funded and controlled by the Hungarian government.
Originally a proponent of Reaganite Neoconservatism, the Heritage Foundation in recent years has become influenced by Trump’s brand of populism, and shifted towards isolationist foreign policy, especially when it comes to responding to the actions of Putin’s Russia. This transformation was finalized with Kevin Roberts becoming the think-tank’s president in 2021.
Roberts saw Orbán’s „illiberal state” as an example to follow. In 2022, Orbán welcomed Roberts in Budapest, and Heritage signed a cooperation agreement with the Danube Institute. The so-called educational institute is a branch of the Lajos Batthyány Foundation, a lobbying and network-building organization funded directly by Orbán’s government.
In December 2023, the Heritage Foundation hosted an international conference where people affiliated with the Orbán government (including officials of the Hungarian Embassy in Washington) lobbied US Congressmen to vote against the Biden administration’s planned military aid to Ukraine.
A direct influence of Orbán allies
More recently the investigative organization ProPublica published hours of training videos, made for internal use by the Heritage Foundation, instructing would-be political appointees in furthering the aims of Project 2025. Several of the people appearing in these videos have previously worked with the Danube Institute or other similar pro-Orbán organizations.
In one of the training videos, Spencer Chretien, co-director of Project 2025, offers advice regarding political appointees. He says that in a new conservative administration „loyalty and ideology are more important than professional experience”.
Chretien was previously involved in building ties between the Heritage Foundation and Hungary. In May 2024, the (Hungarian) Center for Fundamental Rights – another state-funded organisation that exists mainly to praise Orbán’s government – hosted representatives from the Heritage Foundation, including Chretien.
In this event entitled “We Win, They Lose – America’s Choice”, Chretien presented Project 2025.
The project was also showcased in Hungary at another event in February 2024, this time organized by the Danube Institute. There, the Heritage Foundation was represented by Troup Hemenway, Senior Advisor to the Foundation and Co-Director of Staff Placement for the 2025 project.
In another leaked educational video, Roger Severino, a former Trump administration official, spoke about the role of political appointees in the legislature.
Severino last visited Hungary last year: according to Mathias Corvinus Collegium, he was invited by the entire Heritage management team to Budapest for a discussion on education, including Severino and Heritage President Kevin Roberts.
Mathias Corvinus Collegium is a private educational institute which received vast sums of public funds and was transformed into a trainig ground for young pro-Orbán elites.
In the video titled “Presidential Transitions”, Ed Corrigan and Rick Dearborn discuss how to apply for a political appointment during a presidential transition. Dearborn was Deputy White House Chief of Staff in the Trump administration, Corrigan was a member of Trump’s transition team and is currently President and CEO of the Conservative Partnership Institute.
In January 2023, the Center for Fundamental Rights hosted a joint event with the Conservative Partnership Institute in Washington, D.C. In February 2024, the Liszt Institute, part of the Hungarian Department of Culture and Innovation, hosted a joint event with the Conservative Partnership Institute in Washington, D.C. At this event, Ed Corrigan presented a book written by Balázs Orbán, a member of Viktor Orbán’s cabinet, together with the politician.

'White supremacist manifesto': Report unmasks 'history of racist writing' by Project 2025 architects
Tumblr media
Former President Donald Trump has tried to distance himself from Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation's far-right 900-page blueprint for a second Trump presidency.
Yet many of its proposals have come from Trump allies. And Heritage had a strong presence at the 2024 Republican National Convention.
Moreover, Trump's running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), wrote the forward for a forthcoming book by Heritage President Kevin Roberts — who, critics say, threatened violence against Project 2025's opponents when he told Real America's Voice, "We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be."
READ MORE: 'Now we crush Trump': Michael Moore unveils 2024 battle plan
In an article published on July 29, USA Today's Will Carless reports that according to some critics, Project 2025 has ties to white nationalists and white supremacists.
Carless notes that author Michael Harriot has attacked Project 2025 as a "white supremacist manifesto."
"A closer look at the named contributors to Project 2025 adds to the concern," Carless explains. "A USA Today analysis found at least five of them have a history of racist writing or statements, or white supremacist activity. They include Richard Hanania, who for years, wrote racist essays for white supremacist publications under a pseudonym until he was unmasked by a Huffington Post investigation last year."
Carless adds, "Failed Virginia GOP Senate candidate Corey Stewart, another named contributor, has long associated with white supremacists and calls himself a protector of America's Confederate history tasked with 'taking back our heritage.' One Project 2025 contributor wrote, in his PhD dissertation, that immigrants have lower IQs than white native citizens, leading to 'underclass behavior.' Another dropped out of contention for a prestigious role at the Federal Reserve amid controversy over a racist joke about the Obamas."

Civil rights attorney Arjun Sethi argues that Project 2025's proposals would, if implemented, be highly detrimental to non-white Americans.
Sethi told USA Today, "Project 2025 is a plan about how to regulate and control people of color, including how they organize, work, play and live. It seeks to regulate what they do with their bodies, how they advocate for their rights, and how they build family and community — all while disregarding the historical injustices and contemporary persecution they have experienced."
Harriot argues that Project 2025 is full of ideas that have been promoted by white supremacists and white nationalists.
Harriot told USA Today, "One of the things that you see when you read Project 2025 is not just the racist dog whistles, but some ideas that were exactly lifted from some of the most extreme white supremacists ever."
Although Trump has tried to distance himself from Project 2025, Harriott describes it as an "employee manual" for a second Trump Administration.
Harriot told USA Today, "There's some cognitive dissonance. Trump doesn't get elected by people who are just outwardly racist, and being associated with Project 2025 would dismantle his plausible deniability, because it's so blatantly racist."

Maybe my political instincts are terrible, but I think that given how the media has talked up how much Kamala Harris appeals to women, how much money she's raised from women, etc, the Harris campaign and its surrogates should try to squeeze in a few bits explicitly noting that they are both seeking and obtaining male support.
Nothing too desperate or obvious, but occasionally put in something like, "Yes, that's true. Harris is getting a lot of support from women concerned about reproductive rights who want to stop the extremist Republican agenda that Donald Trump and J. D. Vance would empower, and it's a great source of strength to our campaign. Oh, BTW, she's also getting a lot of support from men too. Her outreach efforts to men highlighting the ways the Biden-Harris administration has fostered the revitalization of manufacturing jobs and wage growth, and the ways the plutocratic, anti-union Republican agenda could threaten the progress we've made in the 2020s, has resonated with millions of male voters."
I'm not sure anything of substance needs to change (although obviously if Harris sees the opportunity to stake out a policy position that is practical and constitutional and would net-benefit men without being detrimental to women (or possibly even one that has large net benefits to men, while having only very small net drawbacks to women), she should take such opportunities, although I'm not sure which such opportunities exist IRL), but some gentle pushback on media's tendency to peg her as the "women's candidate" might be good, to make it clear that Harris both explicitly values male votes and voters and that she believes she can successfully appeal to them, while also appealing to many women.
IDK. Maybe too many men would find it patronizing and insulting?

Autocracy and Poverty
Trump and Vance bring them together
Timothy Snyder
Oct 06, 2024
When I am on media, television hosts ask how democracy is relevant to people who are voting on kitchen-table issues.  That’s easy.
When Trump destroys our democracy, he will also destroy our economy.
Autocracy will bring poverty.
Tumblr media
Think about the politicians Trump idolizes, Vladimir Putin in Russia and Viktor Orbán in Hungary.  The first undid a democracy through fake emergencies, the second through persistent constitutional abuse.  It is not hard to see why Trump likes them.
Now consider the Russian and Hungarian economies.  Russia sits on hugely valuable natural resources, and yet is a poor country.  The profits from its oil and gas are in the hands of a few oligarchs.  Hungary sits in the middle of the European Union, the most successful trade project of all time.  And yet Hungarians are poorer than their neighbors, in part because the Orbán regime corruptly channels EU resources to friendly oligarchs.
The lesson is clear.  Democracy is a method of checking corrupt rulers.  When there is no functioning democracy, corruption is unchecked.
And democracy is an element of a more fundamental guarantor of prosperity, the rule of law.  In Hungary and Russia, the rule of law has been bent and broken, to the benefit of the few, and to the detriment of the many.
Ending the rule of law is the Trump-Vance platform.
Trump is running as a candidate who has attempted a coup against constitutional rule. Vance has already said, multiple times, that law does not govern who leads the country, and that he would have supported Trump’s coup attempt.
The rule of law begins from the principle that we are all equally subject to to it. Trump promises to weaponize the law to immunize himself and his supporters and to pursue his political opponents.  Those who worked with him in the White House believe him.
Laws are executed by trained civil servants. Trump and Vance back a plan to fire the forty thousand federal employees who now execute the law and replace them with forty thousand loyalist hacks.  That is Project 2025.
It doesn't take much imagination to see where this leads.  Here are five quick examples.
1.  The very rich will not be taxed, but you will be taxed more. The hardest thing the IRS does is to tax the wealthy.  In an atmosphere of lawlessness and favoritism, this will become impossible.  Insofar as the federal government runs at all, it will be by taxing the middle class.
2.  The banks can collapse.  As we saw in 2008, our financial system is held together by a very thin tissue of regulation.  Unless laws are enforced, as they won't be under a Trump-Vance administration, the overadventurous will very likely draw us all into another financial disaster.  The bailout will be paid for by the average taxpayer because the rich won’t be taxed (see number 1).
3.  Americans will be at risk of losing their benefits.  Social Security and all the rest depend upon a functioning federal bureaucracy, which is exactly what Project 2025 guarantees that we will not have.  Americans take for granted federal institutions, from VA Hospitals to the insurance of bank accounts (see number 2).
4.  The stock market can crash.  It depends upon the laws that prevent insider trading and other abuses.  If these laws are applied selectively, and if the people who used to enforce them have been fired, then corrupt investors will win while others lose out.  After a time, the stock market loses its prestige, investors go elsewhere, and everyone loses. (And those who were treating their investments as cushioning to their retirement benefits are now poor: see number 3).
5.  Businesses will get stuck.  Doing business depends upon all sorts of interactions with the federal government.  When the federal government loses its civil servants, much of this will stop happening.  Or, worse, companies with personal connections will be able to continue functioning without following any rules, while others will grind to a halt.  This means millions of people losing their jobs. (And it is now hard for businesses to raise money: see number 4).
This list could go on.  The collapse of the economy is not a bug of autocracy, but a feature.
There is an autocratic logic to economic failure. When nothing works, when law does not matter, when elections are irrelevant, the only way Americans will be able to get anything done is by appealing to those who have power.  We will have to give bribes to the corrupt and hope for favors from the top.
Once we behave like this, we get used to the idea that only the leader can fix things, which is of course what Trump likes to say.  And so the circle closes and the new regime is installed.
The new autocracy is confirmed by our new poverty. That is, in any event, the Trump-Vance plan.
They are talented politicians, and they have an alternative to democracy and prosperity, which is autocracy and poverty. Whether they bring America this new regime is up to us.
(Please share this post with anyone you think could be helped by its message.)

Tbh, while I always thought Biden dropping out a year ago would have been ideal, I did think him dropping out now would be a self own for the dems.
But after the Vance pick, months of almost exclusively focusing on Biden's age to the detriment of focus on policy, and just the general meltdown conservatives seem to be having, the Dems might have stumbled their way into a W on this one.
Vance is a lunatic, Trump is almost as old and incoherent as Biden, and I don't think the cons have anything on Harris; they've more or less ignored her for years.

Hello, don’t feel safe enough posting this off anon, but the reason Detriment is getting a major rework is because Torrent (lead dev of Detriment) admitted that he had 0 ideas of how to continue the story based off of V0.5
Merc has been transferred to another game (Adventure Forward 1 HD) and will no longer be in Detriment at all, unfortunately. Vance is yet to be decided (as far as I’m aware)
Torrent felt as though the only way he could continue the story was by remaking the entire premise entirely. Detriment was originally a dog on at Roblox’s modernising or.. something like that. I’m not good with words, sorry.
He didn’t like the idea of making a game based on making fun of Roblox as a corporation and instead wants something new and different. Info on how the new Detriment will look like is very vague as he’s still not got much written down on it, but that’s all I know as of now
Detriment has a discord server where Torrent is pretty interactive with the community so it wouldn’t be too hard to find the evidence if you ever join the server
Sorry for the long ask, felt like I wanted to clarify the remake post based off what I know of Detriment so far
MERCCCC NOOOO 😭😭😭
Okay no this is depressing 😓
Thanks for informing of this though, very appreciated ‼️‼️

Springfield, Ohio, was thrust into the national spotlight this election cycle due to the vast number of Haitian migrants who had settled in the town over the last few years, but some of those migrants have already packed their bags and left in the wake of President-elect Trump’s sweeping win.
The town, which according to the 2020 census has under 60,000 residents, has struggled to cater to a population boom between 15,000 to 20,000 Haitian migrants following decades of population decline. Residents have complained that the uncontrolled influx has drained resources and services, made the town less safe, driven up rents and caused longer wait times for medical and social services.
Locals have especially expressed frustrations over road safety, arguing that immigrants who have no to little experience driving in their home countries have been allowed to take to the streets with ease, causing a dangerous situation on the roads.
Many of those migrants had settled in the community having attained the ability to live and work in the U.S. for a limited time thanks to temporary protected status (TPS) but President-elect Trump signaled on the campaign trail he would yank such permits, striking fear into the migrants, some of whom have already fled the town ahead of Trump’s return to office.
"People are leaving," Margery Koveleski, of the Haitian Community Alliance (HCA), tells the Guardian.
"Some folks don’t have credit cards or access to the internet, and they want to buy a bus ticket or a plane ticket, so we help them book a flight."
Jacob Payen, a co-founder of the HCA who also runs a business that includes helping Haitians in Springfield to file tax returns, also told the publication that migrants have been leaving.
"People are fully aware of the election result, and that is why they are leaving; they are afraid of a mass deportation," Payen said.
"Several of my customers have left. One guy with his family went to New Jersey; others have gone to Boston. I know three families that have gone to Canada."
Some of the Haitian migrants are thought to have moved to nearby cities such as Dayton, where they believe they would be less visible to law enforcement, while others who had temporary asylum in Brazil are considering going back to the South American country, per the Guardian, citing community leaders.
Migrants have been fleeing their home nation since it was plunged into a political crisis in 2018 with protests sweeping the island it shares with the Dominican Republic. Gang violence has exploded in the country and a transitionary council removed Haitian Prime Minister Garry Conille from office earlier this month, replacing him in the role after just six months.
Springfield became a flashpoint in the presidential election when both President-elect Trump and Vice-President elect JD Vance claimed that Haitian migrants were eating pets there.
"They're eating the dogs, the people that came in, they're eating the cats," Trump said on the debate stage against Vice-President Harris. "They're eating the pets of the people that live there, and this is what's happening in our country, and it's a shame."
Trump has also vowed to carry out the largest deportation operation in the history of the U.S. and has appointed hardliner South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem to serve as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) while Tom Homan will be the new "Border Czar."
The DHS oversees U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Secret Service and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Noem will also oversee TPS and has deployed the state National Guard to the southern border several times in recent years.
Payen believes that droves of Haitian migrants leaving the town will have a detrimental impact on the local economy and in other states.
The Guardian reports that the Haitian migrants filled thousands of jobs at area packaging and auto plants, which have helped rejuvenate the area, while Haitian restaurants regularly source food from other states.
"I pay thousands of dollars in income and property taxes every year," Payen told the outlet. "And – because I work with Haitians to file their taxes – I see their W-2s and so on. If these people leave, that money is gone from the city and the local economy."

002 for remus please
Thank you for the ask!!
How I feel about this character:
My ultimate favourite character in everything. The standard to which all characters are judged. My Roman Empire.
All the people I ship romantically with this character:
Tonks
James potter
Benjy fenwick
Peter Pettigrew (sorta)
Emmeline Vance (but only in But He Didnt Want The Moon tbh)
Frank and Alice Longbottom as long as it’s at the same time (I haven’t thought about it too hard but I know I’m right)
My non-romantic OTP for this character:
His and Sirius’ deliciously complex post - POA friendship
The marauders as a unit
With James
With peter
With Kingsley
My unpopular opinion about this character:
He fawns or flights as a trauma response. It doesn’t mean he’s not developed as a character or not 3- dimensional if he doesn’t fix things with his fists or going off in violent rages. Man is terrified of confrontation and people pleasing to an absolute fault and people get hurt because of it.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:
His arc is greatly restricted by the fact he dies in DH. It’s already a fairly ambitious thing to attempt to pull off with an adult side character that Harry can only really see 3 times a year and who isn’t the type to share his every thought, but the fact it ends and there’s no further prospect for growth off screen is detrimental to the whole thing.
He should have had the chance at recovery and healing by living a life with Tonks and working through issues rather than running away from them. I understand that he doesn’t because war isn’t that kind, but still.
my OTP
Remus x Tonks all day every day
my cross over ship:
I don’t think I have one, sorry.
(Remus and Vision. Are they too similar? yes. Do I care all that much? No. I love them both so I will make them kiss like lil Ken dolls)
a headcanon fact:
He’s not great at growing facial hair. That moustache in PoA? The only thing he can grow that’s not incredibly patchy.
He’s also a vegetarian after spending the year in Greybacks camp

The full on rage that you see from trans rights activists both online and in person is an illuminating illustration of how toxic and detrimental the ideology of transgenderism is to both society at large and the individuals infected by that ideology.
It's not normal behavior to have psychotic breaks in strangers inboxes. It's not a successful debate strategy and it's not healthy for the psyche of the person doing it. And, it's not a behavior you see associated with any other ideology. I'm an atheist but I wouldn't furiously type out an unhinged screed against a religious person. I wouldn't walk up to JD Vance and screech at him over his misogyny. That's not something feminists do and it's not something mentally sound people do.
Which brings me to the delusions suffered by trans rights activists that have no basis in the real world. Being transgender is not a real thing, but no one is calling for the people who are claiming to miraculously and unconvincingly be the opposite sex to lose their civil rights. Civil rights are protected by the equal protection clause of the Constitution. They aren't something that can be waved away on a whim, not even by the meanest of old hags.
It's important to remember that not everything is a civil right though. Men cannot violate the rights of women because they do not value the humanity of those women, and kind of just feel like it. It's baffling that in the twenty first century the country has decided that's an open debate.
No one is calling for the deaths of people who claim to be transgendered either (except of course the sex pests, natch.). However, TRAs are certainly calling for the deaths of women whose brains are not rotted by postmodernist nonsense. Supporting women's rights and the rights of children and homosexuals is not a call for any type of "genocide," actually. This is another case in which the delusions of the ideology are actively harming the brains of the people who profess it in the loudest and most deranged fashion.
To get back to abnormality, it's abnormal to hysterically pound your keyboard to tell complete strangers, "FUCK YOUR FAMILY" and "I hope you die." It may take a few years, but the people who choose to do that will eventually look back with horror at that choice. This socially constructed sociopathy will pass, and when the miasma of madness leaves their minds they will regret how they behaved and what it turned them into.
It's necessary to reengage with reality. Delusions cannot persist in the human mind without eventually causing some sort of mental breakdown. The extreme rage and unhappiness that comes with obsessive devotion to the cult of transgenderism is proof of this. Stop letting your minds be damaged for the sake of narcissists and perverts.

Honestly the best thing he can do is die 1.5yrs into his term. Vance will not draw as many conservatives to the polls for the mid term election and will probably turn off a lot of middle of the road voters. Vance will only get 2.5yrs in the big seat and he has nowhere near the cult following Trump has. Yeah, the Project 2025 people are fully prepared for a Trump to Vance transition but they'll still lose time to the transition. The party will be more rabid at eating itself alive for the 2028 election because Trump won't have repeatedly endorsed a replacement (not that he is ever inclined to) and the "go with incumbent" rule will come into play, but even if Vance were to win he'll have lost that 1.5yrs. And despite what they want, 1.5yrs is not enough time to eliminate voting entirely.
Also, Trump is too much of an egotist even in his dementia to not install his own people, even to the detriment of the Project 2025 plans and they'll have to fight to replace Trump's nepotism and cronyism picks they didn't want with the ones they really wanted. And Trump's picks, by and large, care more about the money than the politics and will fight to keep their lucrative positions.
new reason to stay alive: outlive the trump presidency. In fact, outlive Trump. He isn’t immortal. We can live to see the day he's guaranteed to never be in office ever again and we can make sure he knows that he'll never have enough power to kill you
stay strong, friends, this isn't your fault
