Abby leaned back in the bed of the truck, her cheeks bright red from exhaustion and the heat. The setting sun blaring down on her and her group after a long day of patrolling.

She hated days like these. Having to leave you before you woke up, just to be out all day until the sun set. Manny chuckled “ahí va ella” Abby looked over at him unamused. “What’s that supposed to mean”

“Nothing Nothing Just pointing out something” he continued. The blond sighed annoyed before looking behind her at the fast moving scenery. Secretly she wondered what the world would of been like if it hadn’t ended— would she of met you, would you both of still been happy, maybe you would of met her dad.

Pushing that thought aside Abby lifted her hand waving at the guys on guard to let their group into the base. Once off the truck she avoided multiple people to not get stuck in conversation.

After turning in her guns Abby made a b-line straight for your apartment. The only thing that really mattered to her right now was to be at her home. In your hallway she hesitated before opening your door. Letting out a tired sigh she walked in.

“And that’s what I’ve been saying, I told Julia that it doesn’t matter if back in her day if—“ you stop mid conversation with Mel to see Abby standing in the doorway.

Mel took note of Abby’s exhausted appearance, patting your shoulder “I’ll see you tomorrow ok” she gave you a soft smile before leaving. Once mel was gone you opened your arms waiting for Abby to walk over.

Abby quickly pulled you into a hug taking a deep breath in just to take in your subtle perfume. “Rough day” You asked leaning back some to take a good look at her worn out face. “Yeah, just.. a lot” she sighed.

You nodded leaning up kissing her gently before stepping down, grabbing her hand and walked her over towards your bed. Abby swore up and down your kisses were the sweetest thing ever— so sweet she would get toothaches.

Setting Her on the bed you silently grabbed your first aid kit to help clean some of the cuts on the girls arms and body. Not once asking her about the people she had killed, or even wondering about the wrong she had done, only wanting to help take care of her. “Shit abs your running a fever” you frowned pulling your hands away from her forehead. “I’m gonna make you some tea ok” kissing her cheek you walked towards portable stove you had recently got preparing a fresh pot of tea.

Abby admired your figure from afar, the long grey military sweat pants that didn’t quite fit you as they were Abby’s, your dark bra and how you had your hair pulled up. She had always liked when you wore your hair naturally down but didn’t mind seeing it pulled back either.

You started to hum a lullaby as you turned the stove on. Slowly moving back and forth Abby almost thought you were nothing more than a dream, like you were a figment of her imagination.

Returning back to the blondes side you helped her out of her clothes— giving her a clean set that you had lying around from earlier times she stayed over.

After a few minutes you placed some of the tea in a mug, handing it to abby you started to stitch up a deep cut in her bicep. It amost made Abby cry how you never worried About what her hands and her body had done, never asking about who or what she had killed, only ever concerned about her no one else

Once she was taken care of you took the now empty cup from her and set it aside. Pulling the covers back you laid down in bed, taking your bra off mainly because you knew Abby liked the skin on skin connection. Waiting for the blonde to strip out of her shirt, you laid down allowing her to fall ontop of you.

You started to undo Abby’s braid as she lightly kissed along your collarbone. Raking your fingers through her hair you started to whisper. “I get it sweet girl.. I get it, it’s ok”

Massaging the girls head you started to tell her about your day. Soft and sweetly showing Abby your love “So I had taught my class about world history today, and we had—“

Abby started to doze off quickly falling asleep. Even if she had died on an assignment No grave could hold her body down she’d still crawl home to you.

If I had a nickle for every time a VA from "Hazbin Hotel" appeared originally in the 2017 reboot of "DuckTales," I'd have four nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened four times. ;)

*There's a decent chance there are more VAs in "DuckTales" that were in "Hazbin Hotel" that I could have missed, but these ones are the ones I currently remember. ;)

***I do find it funny that Keith David voiced Manny, who's I know is a reference to Goliath in "Gargoyles," but also the fact he's a winged animal like Husk makes me laugh. ;)

AYYYY ITS THE PERSON WHO GAVE U MOTIVATION OR SMTH IM BACK Aight rq question: WHat would the Curious Critters sound like? As in, maybe voice pitch, accents, VA, etc. Do they have any vocal habits like lisps, stuttering, or other examples I can't think of? also again holy mother of god your art gives me sm joy-

ERMMMM- I never really thought about their voices... gimme a hot minute.

I imagine Manny actually sounds like Grubby from the Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin (link to a playlist of the episodes on youtube: X) he has a bit of a habit of being rather blunt but also sometimes stumbles on his words or skips ahead due to his mind running faster than his mouth so he'll be a bit nonsensical at times if he doesn't slow down or forget where he originally was.

Kittenergy has a habit of speaking a mile a minute, they are veeeeery energetic. Pup can translate pretty well, though! I imagine Kit's voice sounds like Finn from adventure time.

PuppyLove has a very gentle voice, very soft... I imagine it's a lot like Fluttershy's from MLP. They're very polite and kind sounding is my point.

Holly would have a deep voice- and by deep I mean like- moderately so. like- I can't think of the voice off the top of my head but the voice from the soundbite of 'You're dead and burried, darling~' is what I imagine she'd sound like.

Star would sounds a lot like Alphys and has a bit of a stuttering habit herself. She's quite self-conscious about it but Holly helps her out quite a bit.

Prissy would sound a lot like Rarity (though I love the idea of her being british alknfaj, that sounds about right for her honestly LMAO)

Goldi has a brash, brave sounding voice at times but most of the time it's softer. I imagine a mixture of Hollyberry from CRK and White Lily's would be what she'd sound like.

NOW PARRY- he'd sound like a slightly younger Ryan Reynolds. or like Deadpool, which is just Ryan Reynold... trust me on this. trust.

Hunter and Luz didn’t have that many meaningful conversation. He just had more screen time than Amity. Maybe, but I didn’t count. Ever hear the phrase, “it’s not the amount of time you get, it’s what you do with it?” In all her time with Hunter, she was either extorted, helping him escape kikimora, trying to convince him that belos is not evil, saving his life and then consoling him. None of those interactions were even slightly romantic, save for that part where she slaps him to wake him up. But that was just too good of a joke to delete. Luz and Amity? They went inside Willow’s mind to save her memories. When Luz hugged Amity, she blushed. They danced together. They did pro magic together. Then they had a talk about manny together. Amity saved Luz from her mom. The only thing they don’t have is that much drama. I’m sorry, but Luz and Amity will forever have more romantic and meaningful scenes than Lunter. Case closed. i've been a huge fan of sonic since i was a kid. morever ever since my early teens i have been mostly preferring to go into the game settings and play the games in japanese voices. idk man i just really love the sub/japanese voices more than the english dub. anyways some sonic fun va where sonic characters share the same va as characters from various anime and other video games. starting with the trio of the 3 hedgehogs (sonic, shadow, and silver):

Ok so nightshade definitely needs to check out the owl house, it’s a very magic cantered series and mostly about witches but there are owls with as supporting characters. Owlbert and Hooty, and Hooty is even called ‘the owl house’. (Fun fact: the va of thrash and elita-1 play hunter and Lilith)

So we’re really getting some high quality in this show! :D!

ok now that my cookies r done i too have finished cooking n now here are my under the christmas tree 2 theories:

ok so that radio show manny was listening to was obviously foreshadowing, right? n it's about a guy being framed for killing someone's wife? kinda sounds similar to the whole thing w/ kenny don't it?

also, i noticed kenny's VA (as well as a lawyer and my beloved cabin man <3) is credited even though we never heard him in part 1. thus, he's obviously going to play some kind of role in part 2

ALSO also, we never found out where the hell william went after he dropped vanessa on manny's doorstep like a diseased shelter dog. tho obviously he saw some intense shit happening at the Evil Christmas Party

So here is where i put on the tinfoil hat: i think whatever william saw at the Evil Christmas Party caused him to realize that kenny was either Actually Innocent or not as guilty as he thought (or at least not guilty enough for whatever happened at the Evil Christmas Party to be justified) n went back to go find him n get answers

i think william and kenny (if he'd not already dead; possibly vanessa too) go back to the Evil Christmas Party n find that what i'm gonna call the Peace Cult have killed manny

then i think they r gonna storm the basement (despite the Peace Cult's warnings) and one of 2 things happen:

1) they find a pile of bodies, realize the Peace Cult has been killing perceived "trash" for years (maybe even decades or centuries), and then go apeshit and kill everyone in the Peace Cult, or:

2) find a Thing. demon Thing alien Thing eldritch Thing idk but a Thing. then it gets mad about being disturbed and attacks everyone indiscriminately (to the Peace Cult's horror). either of these could explain the screaming that was in the trailer but not part 1. i'm kinda leaning towards the latter

then cabin man is going to come in at the very end n is like "wasn't that a heartwarming christmas story <3 now gtfo of my cabin how did u even get in here"

BONUS CRACK THEORY:

cabin man is actually the Thing in the basement and he gets mad that william (and maybe kenny and/or vanessa) interrupted his goddamn storytime >:(
