I’m rewatching greys anatomy (for literally the 800th time) and I can’t get over this cute idea in my head of Eli being an intern and Thrawn being an attending so here’s this SUPER sloppy quick doodle of intern Eli bc I needed to get some of it out of my system

So like Eli isn’t top of his class but he tries SO hard and everyone likes him but he’s not super close w anyone, except like 2 other interns who are assigned to the same resident as him (obvi bad bitch resident Karyn)

And Thrawn is SUPER closed off and no one wants to get close w him bc he scares them

And all the other interns are bat shit TERRIFIED of thrawn but he sees something in Eli and goes out of his way to get Eli on his cases and if you know greys anatomy it’s very Burke and Cristina

If I felt more confident in my writing I would 100% make a fic of this but in the future I’m most def gonna make lil drabbles n stuff bc this makes my heart so happy

Megatron greets them at the lift, smile warm and field bright-- brighter, more relaxed than he's been in... a long time. Nearly as bright as when told of the emberling, and becoming triad.

The rest of Command are already gathered, fields excited kinetic energy; their attention is on the bridge viewing window.

And then Megatron's folding his wings back, stepping aside to fully reveal the view.

They've made it.

"... Welcome to our safe harbour, beloveds." Megatron murmurs.

The way this is phrased, it can't be anything bad.

Soundwave is drowsy--the emberling is getting bigger, after all, and growing protoform inside himself is exhausting work--but he scoops up Ravage, comms his brother, and makes his way to the bridge.

Another Trope I adore, but don’t know the name for, is a rare one as it is confined to spin-offs. It’s when the story is a prequel in an established universe and a well-known villain from the source material shows up at the end, becoming an unstoppable force of nature and making life hell for the protagonist. It makes the world feel more alive, showing that there’s always bigger fish.

Think of Darth Vader in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Adam Smasher in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and Homelander in Gen V.

I’m a sucker for this trope, but I don’t see it enough!

They were nearing the end. Almost 20 days later. Almost.

At this point, Rowan had given up on trying... well, anything. She's too weak, either way. It feels like her body ceased functioning, but her consciousness remains intact. She tried to keep her usual routine up, but that all ended near day 14, when their body outright rejected the apple she tried to eat. Barely a bite, and they were curled up on themself, coughing up the tiny portion of fruit and an excessive amount of saliva. They cried for 20 minutes straight afterwards. There was no recovery or return.

Day 19 is nearing its end. At least, they think so. The last day or two has been... a blur. She remembers Cosmos trying to carry her still when she became motionless on his back. She vaguely remembers falling to the ground. That's where they've stayed for... some amount of time, they don't know anymore. They tried getting up at some point but their limbs refused to answer, so they abandoned that idea as well.

Cosmos stands next to her in her near-dead state, simply observing her and their surroundings. Until Rowan is gone, he shall stand with her, he thinks. He'd tell her if she could hear him. Hopefully the gesture is enough.

With their eyes fixed on the night sky, the last thing she'll ever see, they couldn't help but smile weakly. Lucky. A clear night. Being so far away from any artificial lights, the stars seem to shine twice as bright as usual, illuminating each galaxy in the far, far, distance.

Despite her aching bones, each vein shooting pangs of pain through her, and overwhelming nausea, they feel almost at peace.

Soft footsteps could be heard approaching, crunching this realms version of grass under her feet as the rabbit woman walked up to the fence, hopping on top of it before sitting down, legs dangling above the barriers.

"Hi Nova. Lovely... whatever time it is, right?"

Frankly, socializing wasn't a strong suit for the one clad in purple and yellow, but if she was to keep from going crazy around here, it was in her best interest to interact with her neighbors more.

"Oh- hey B... I... Yeah... It is..."

They muttered, their mind was clearly in a dark place.
