My reasoning for loving him so much stems from Season 2 Part 1 so I can't fully explain

BUT

I can tell you some things that they show doesn't tell (I think):

Geo says that he's a Munch with the color of a Geckle but it's not true; he's half and half

If you didn't notice but only his left ear was pierced; a sign in the Gay community to other gays that you are gay back when being public about it was frowned upon

The man who wrote the episode "Land of Lost Things" and created Geo (I think he made the character) is gay himself! So in a way, Geo is a self-insert character

I am Aromantic. I just don't feel the need or want to have a romantic relationship. And that seems to have stepped over into the media I watch. I don't ship. I'm slightly romantic repulsed. I don't actively hate it, I just don't like it. I'm fine with canon ships like Jaya or Lumity (from Owl House (plz watch it)).

But something about Geo and Cole. Something about how they interact in Season 2 that just.........AUGHAUGHGHHAHG!!!!!!! It awoken something in me. I feel warm inside!!!! I found myself grinning ear to ear.

It could just be the fantastic writing, but it's so much more. The ship for Geo and Cole is called LostShipping and/or Geode. The fanbase kind of goes back and forth. I don't mind either.

I'm still aro, and I still cringe inside at most romance. But Geode is the one exception and the whole #savemyboycole thing is really dumb

I totally remember the gay ear piercing thing! My cousin and uncle were double and triple checking when they got their ears pierced that they didn't get the wrong ear. And that was in the early 2000s. It's amazing what's changed in 20 years. (Note: this is not the cousin who got married in Malaysia last year. Robo/otter for the ship ask thing bc I’m kinda slightly obsessed with the way that you write them about them in fics/tags and this way you have to say more stuff. (Insert evil laughter)

god this is almost too open ended ........ my brain is exploding with everything i could say about their vibes & why they work for me as much as they do. this is really like. the essayiest essay of all of these so it is MOSTLY under the cut & i hope it appeases your evil laughter <3

i think the basis of the appeal of them for me is the same of any ship you build up out of people in the same draft class — whether you're looking at preexisting besties who get broken up or strangers who become insanely important to each other in an instant, there's a very real hand-of-fate quality there & that makes everything about the 2017 draft class in particular feel kind of fairy tale.

and otter is SO aware of it. they both give insane quotes about each other on the reg & have since their rookie season (the fact that it's Their Rookie Season is both another point & part of the same point; like, that was also tydel's rookie season, but also, he's not part of their conversation yk?) but otter especially is always talking about how happy he is that robo plays in dallas with him & how he hopes he continues to never have to play against him, etc etc etc.

otter's almost ...... intensely introspective. like, his quotes on the podcast he did for pavs' company about wishing he could go back & play just one more game with every old team of his are insane. BUT both of them have spent soooo much time this season talking about how they still look at each other as the same guy they came up with in the ahl which gives me absolute brainworms. i think it really started in earnest w media asking robo about otter at the all star weekend, but then they both had carte blanche to keep talking about growing up together & how they don't look at each other any different now.

they're both just so aware of the narrative & their respective places in it (otter always calling himself the best & his teammates the best as a way of shouldering his own high expectations; robo always tempering people's praise of him by calling out his weaknesses & what he does to offset them; etc etc etc). BUT they both seemed to have readily accepted that they come as a package deal, narratively, which i just think is the height of romance in sports. agreeing that you come as a duo with someone ..... that you shouldn't be separated ....... that you've been together for long enough that the other person's changes simply do not register .............. It balanced out so nicely like the cluesless jh and cheol who sees the bigger picture and wants his friends happiness and then reader who is passionate in her love and jihoon who is really mellow but sees everything for what it is. short version: i used it on another site before. long version: one time, when i was really bored at school, i doodled some animals and everything felt normal, but then i realized the animal i doodled wasn't a regular animal but a sheep - snail hybrid - a schnaf in german, if you will. a few days later, i decided to make a new account on my first (and up to that point only) fanfic site because after one year, i felt like i needed a new start. but it felt rather temporary - i left the old account after not that long either and i thought i'd stay on the new account even shorter. so i just picked a random name - the animal i came up with a few days before. joke's on me, it became my identity.

Another rant about my friends on the others are.

In my last post I gave them nicknames, I already explained D1, now gonna talk about the other 2.

D2, this person is annoying bc whenever I tell D1 about the 'pfp crisis and with the aesthetics' she always intervenes and says I am over exaggerating and gatekeeping the characters.

And yes I am only bc you don't know them and don't even like the characters. Like D1 doesn't even know or hates the characters so that what makes me angry when she uses them.

Also I hate talking on the gc whenever I want to state my opinion on something bc D2 always defends D1 and vice versa whenever I have different opinions with them. This is why I hate talking there bc no one has the same preferences or opinions as me and if I don't like something they do, it ends up in an argument which is like a 2 vs 1.

Now with C, I have nothing to rant about her bc she's actually nice but she doesn't talk on the gc a lot so I always have to defend myself.

Back to D2, last week, I said I am sad that the live action of snow White is coming on my birthday and she was like I can't hate a movie that didn't come out. And I was like I am still gonna do that. And then it went to an argument of the main actress playing snow White and omg she kept defending her to me when I said I just don't like her.

Then I commented to them, the snow White dress they were using in the live action looked ugly, D1 got involved and started bashing me about the dress.

And was arguing about the dress to me and was like 'omg you don't like snow whites dress' and I was explaining to her that I don't like the one they used for the live action.

This is why I hate speaking in the gc with my opinion on anything like the holiday truly sucks and I ain't even looking forward with school bc most of the arguments has been happening on the gc

If you read about my rant about D1 and her using my favorite characters as aesthetics with her pfp. Majority of the images she gets from Pinterest and this is weirding me out that most of the pictures she used (I think all) for her pfp were on my Pinterest boards.

well guys, it's been officially a week later since the end of the "birthday party" event. crazy it already flew by fast but formerly something i really wanted to say from the very start: thank you.

quite frankly i know i could've just made a simple thank you text as a normal person does, but i wanted to really to show my gratitude by giving something nice. and that something nice was the discord server until... my chaotic brain decided to make a daily week event inspired by scott cawthon UIGHJDSXUKGJH but otherwise- i hope everyone enjoyed tuning in everyday and i've personally been having a blast talking and hanging out with everyone since.

now, i got my secret final card up my sleeve that i've been wanting to do. was to give back something to some specific folks. amazing folks. folks that one: were my introduction to this amazing smg4 community, and two: friends i've made that has genuinely changed my life for the better, and three: been the greatest support i could've ever asked. it's still insane to me that i knew my life would be changed the moment i clicked on a youtube video of someone yapping about a specific blue and purple character from a gmod meme show and if they would work canonical. following up with me just 3 hrs later my first fanart doodle for myself. with just recently that moment being so happy i reached 100 followers on here... if you would've told me four months later that it'll exceedingly grow 10x i would laugh at you and walked away... you guys are insane in the best way possible it has scared me to death, but never have i done better improving my skills and mental health.

he just builds all his characters in the most broken way he can so he can show his viewers that everyone can be a dps in their own right, not just the ones meant to be since there’s no right or wrong in this game !!

but now ur weapon is r5, ur lvl 90 and u have lvl 20 5 star artifacts that make u the most broken (y/n) seen

ppl who co op with him are honestly baffled,,, especially when the feature of them being able to view other players’ character stats become available,,,

u with ur nearly 3k atk,,,

he’s hit over 600k with u tho and he’ll always flex that

no one can top him as a (y/n) main and that’s honestly just a fact at this point 😩

when he saw that the dating sim hangouts was official, his immediate and iconic response was simply ;

“so when will (y/n) become a dateable, huh 🤨”
