Team Ro would have memories of the canon and they got to this different timeline and there's Tobirama actively trying to seduce Uchiha fucking Madara. They didn't teach THAT in the Academy

They got in the time when Tobirama still orchestrated meetings, but Butsuma is already dead so if everything goes well, Tobirama would get Madara and peace soon.

And then there suddenly spawn a Hatake with a sharingan with 2 Uchiha kids and a Mokuton user. Political nightmare.

Later Tobirama recognises Kakashi and was like "The fuck? It's that Hatake from the war. What is he doing there, he should not have been born yet!!"

I'm gonna be real I love the concept of "team ro time travel au but they time travel into someone else's time travel au," that's so good

If we go with your au, there's a really interesting immediate aspect of like: hey ! Tobirama might recognize Kakashi or maybe even Tenzo from the war, but these guys are way fucking younger than when they met !!!

Idk what exactly can be done with that but it's interesting to consider. Also Tobirama talked ab Itachi and his crimes before I'm p sure? So like he knows what happens to the Uchiha and that it was Itachi who did it for the village. I wanna see him faced w the kid who he once praised for slaughtering his own clan to prove his loyalty.

I wanna see him feel the consequences of the stress Itachi is under when he (and possibly Shisui) attempt to kill Madara.

Stop interfering with his fix it fic you brats!! He's already got it covered!! You're just causing a mess!!!!

They get zapped in, like, in the middle of Tobirama's happy ending epilogue too. Tobirama is peacefully eating dinner in his house w his new husband Madara thinking "well. Alls well that ends well." Then BOOM Kakashi Shisui Itachi and Tenzo crash out of fucking nowhere directly onto their table, getting covered in food and breaking the table in half

Immediatley arrested !! I feel like Tobirama would instantly understand what happened by recognizing their uniforms + potentially Kakashi + he's already a time traveler himself so it's really no stretch for him to go "oh fuck I didn't think we'd get a double jepordy in this bitch but I guess not"

But like it's not like he can just SAY that ? Or he could but it would bring a lot of questions he probably does not want to answer.

Now another problem arises in like. I don't think Tobirama is especially attached to any of these guys. I can see him maybe having a lingering "pay it forward ig" feeling just bc they're "loyal konoha soldiers" and it'd be a waste to let that resource just burn. But also like. Under no circumstances can Tobirama have these guys share certain aspects of future knowledge.

Tobirama worked so hard to get here !!!! Literal years of planning !!!! He got his happy ending and it very much rests on Madara staying safe and sane and NO ONE IMPLYING HE WILL BETRAY KONOHA EVER !!!!! Tobirama does not even wanna RISK that becoming a rumor, he will take no chances.

Anyways I think his best course of action would be to reveal himself as a time traveler specifically to team ro, then position himself as their hokage who they should remain loyal to, say that it is for Konoha's best interests that they do not reveal certain things, and play it by ear from there.

Tobirama deciding he can't risk team ro going forward in time again and potentially fucking up the time stream or smthn. They need to stay here. He can not risk losing this shit. Sorry guys it looks like your trapped here <3

Anyways team ro being scary loyal to him bc he is the closest approximation to their (current?) Hokage and only person w the knowledge to enforce that power over them (at this time)

In my original post, like, all of team ro are already established to be kind of at their worst and most loyal to the village at that point to. They are at THE age(s) to be manipulated like that tbh, rip

It's not too bad tho. I think Itachi would feel relieved but also very guilty. Shisui too. Tenzo is violently neutral bc hes still in his "learning to be a real boy" phase from root, but it's all positive for him tbh. Kakashi is tricky bc his mental state is the equivalent of someone rapidly bouncing a ball on a thin pane of glass trying to prove it's bullet proof (it's not) and has like MOUNTAINS of complexes around the words "konoha authority figure" and what he's leaving behind. He's probably the most determined to go back

Anyways uhh. Izuna gets Itachi to help him be skeptical of Tobirama and spy on him. Itachi only agrees bc he violently reminds him of Sasuke (this will develop into a complex if not stopped. Shisui is working on it.)

Hey guys, it's jsc, the author of Vendetta. I'm making this blog to backup all of the stuff I've posted over on the vendetta-if blog because I can't access my main account. Until I can access my account again, this will be the blog I'll use to interact with all of you and post updates. And in the worst case scenario, this will become the main blog.

So, please, follow this blog as I will be posting updates and answering asks like usual here. Also, for those who want to share their fanarts and other fanworks, please tag this blog too so I can see it. I'll also start reblogging some posts and asks from the Vendetta blog here in hopes of preserving them as much as I can. For those who are interested in what happened, I'll tell the details under the cut.

So, a few hours ago, I decided to open my iOS Tumblr app to check on notifications and stuff, as I usually do. But instead, I got hit with the Tumblr error messages over and over as it keeps trying to load in.

At first, I just thought it was my cellphone Internet connection, so I tried logging in on the desktop. At first, after I input all of my login credentials, the page loaded, but it brought me to the viewing page of my Vendetta blog as a non-user. I tried again, and this time, it said that my account got terminated. I never got any email from Tumblr about this, and it came as a shock because I just used my Tumblr earlier today to reblog some fanarts with no problem and I have never really used my account for other non-IF related stuff.

So, I scrambled to ask my members in Discord whether my Vendetta blog is still up, and thankfully it still is. But, my main account is somehow gone. The problem is, my Vendetta blog is actually a sideblog to my main account, jsclarissa.

As you can see here, when I tried searching for my main account, it says "Ghost blog! This blog does not exist." despite me having used that account to respond to comments and send asks to other authors before.

I have sent a support ticket to Tumblr support and also tweeted them on Twitter. I really hope they can give me my account back as I'm pretty sure this is some kind of technical issues on their end. I'm just worried about how long it would take them to respond and of course, the worst case scenario that it actually got terminated, so, I'm making this account.

Even if I got my account back, I'll still reblog stuff from the main blog here and maybe I can finally have a more personal blog where I can talk about stuff that is not really related to Vendetta.

I just need to address something regarding the romantic interests I currently have for the game: 7 in total.

Up above is a message (ask) I received today with a now blocked user. Usually I wouldn’t bother with criticism like this, even thought I don’t receive it often, but this was too outrageous for me not to say anything. If they would’ve came in my ask box and delivered this message quite nicer than they did, I would answer the way I answer with any other questions I get: in a nice way.

Anyway, I’m not going to sit here and talk about my feelings after this comment, I’m just going to tell you the deal. I have 7 ROs in my game, where they can be romanced to the fullest. Let me break down their genders down here:

1. Lane (male)

2. Simon (male)

3. Henery (male)

4. Samara (female)

5. B (male or female)

6. M (male, female, or non-binary)

7. Secret RO (male or non-binary)

I can see just by looking at this that people may think that this cast is male led, and I can completely understand that. As a reader, you can basically change every one of these characters male, except for one. But before I released the secret ro, I had it set evenly for readers with preferences. Technically, you can have three male ROs and three female ROs, as M and B are interchangeable. Just for the sake of keeping it even, that is what I did.

As a reader myself, I tried to make it inclusive the best I could while keeping in line with the plot of the story I had wrote before I attempted to create an interactive fiction game. I’ve come to the realization that I can’t make everyone happy and that’s just life. I feel other IF creators can feel the same way, as there could be criticism to them for other aspects of their works.

These comments are some of the reasons why creators feel pressured and even deactivate their accounts. But this was one bad comment in the midst of funny, praising, and amazing messages that I got in my ask box. I needed to address this before I attempted to answer them, because my mood had declined.

And to be clear…I don’t believe this community hates female romances. They’re actually amazing in creating them, even authors who may not be attracted to females, but they write it anyway because they want to be inclusive to this community of great people. If you don’t like the characters I create, there are other IFs who have more of the representation that you want. Maybe more than I do. There was honestly no need for this. Ever.

Sorry for this rant. I just needed to say it. And I’m going to answer these asks, and I’m going to enjoy myself again. Thanks 👑💋

Now, onto planning Act 2! But before diving fully into that, I've been testing with a few things to enable you to import your choices from Act 1 into Act 2, and I'm thrilled to share some great news! Just this morning I found the way to do it! Huge thanks to Itch.io user necrosian for the suggestion, @13leaguestories for the help, and Chapel for the macros! In the next few days, I'll release an update so you can export your choices into a save file. However, this feature does NOT work on mobile. If you're playing on your phone, the export button won't do anything, but I've included a guide on how to manually carry over your choices to Act 2 on mobile. It might seem a bit tedious, but it only takes 2 minutes, and then you can forget about it for the rest of the Act.

In addition to that, I'm working on writing some extra scenes from the perspective of the ROs that didn't make it into the game. Whether it's because the MC wasn't present during those moments or they weren't necessary for the plot, these scenes are good details to share about the characters and give a bit of more context to their actions in the story. If you have a particular scene in mind that you'd like to see from another character's pov, feel free to ask! I'd be delighted to write it, as long as it doesn't venture into spoiler territory, of course! And on top of all that, I've been busy preparing some illustrations for Mermay! All of this and more will be available for Patreon subscribers.

With April and Act 1 done, I'm excited to dive into Act 2! Here's to hoping I'll make it to Chapter 1 soon!

A Bit More Info on the Update Mechanics

The decision on which club you join is one of the first questions in Chapter 1, so players will have to restart from pretty early on. However the fencing club flavor text will continue to run throughout the rest of the game (including in the Camelot dream sequence with the Courtyard branch for the Lucid Dreamer MC).

Otherwise this current update does not progress the game further into Chapter 2.

We lost power to part of the house (thankfully not including my computer), and while I'm usually the one who deals with the circuit breakers, since I'm currently sick I asked my mother to do it this one time.
