just wanted to let you know i really love this if and im excited to see where its gonna go <3
though im not sure if i should wait for all the chapters to be released or if i should keep playing whenever something new gets added to the demo, what do you reccomend?
i love reading stories in one go butttt i get really excited when there are new updates so i immediately wanna play lol
have a great day <33
It’ll be a very long time until the game is completed, so unless you want to come back in 2027 (probably lol), I’d recommend just playing now. Granted, the wait between the chapters can be quite long too, but if you have a roster of games to rotate between, you’ll never be bored. Problem solved!
I get it though. I used to also only play IFs that were completed and never dared to touch a WIP. Half of them never get finished too! That’s just the risk you take :)

Hihi! Im such a sucker for rylan and k theyre my babies🥹🙂↕️ i love how you write them and everyday im sad theyre not real🥹 that aisde, i have question: how good is k at fighting? We've pretty much seen all the ros fight but him. Also, do anh of the ros have a prefered fighting style? Ty and take your time!!
I don’t know if you’re the same anon but I’ve gotten this question three times this week haha. So for your sake, I’ll answer it.
K is… fine at fighting. I wouldn’t call them good at it, but they can hold on their own for at least a minute. Their style mostly focuses on dodging and being defensive, rather than offensive. They’d rather not participate at all though.
As for the other ROs, [A] and Rylan have a mix of offensive and defensive; Blane is offensive; and N is defensive.

Proud N and K romancer here :)
Just wanted to say (in reference to the poll ask), I think it's fascinating to see which way the fandom skews in regard to who the most popular RO is. I especially wonder if authors go in expecting one RO to be more popular than they are, or vice versa. Like, I'm very surprised to find out K is closer to the bottom seeing as stoic, emotionally constipated characters tend to be popular (but maybe that's my personal bias LOL).
So, I guess I'm curious to know if you thought a specific RO or yours would be more/less popular?
I predicted [A] and Blane to be popular and was right on the nose with that. In regards to K, you’re right that stoic ROs tend to be popular, but their immortality (and the Hunter’s mortality) throws a lot of people off.
Despite constant repetition that the Hunter dying and K eventually moving on will never be shown in game (also the fact that this will happen a century later), it’s still a huge turn off for many players. I suppose it messes with headcanons and the idea of happily ever after, which you get with the other ROs. Totally understandable!
Regardless, K is still loved by many, if not all. Who knows? Maybe they’re more popular than I assume. But, talking about this always opens up a can of worms I really don’t want to get into again, so I won’t be answering any more asks about K’s situation. Preferably ever haha.

one thing making me decide between rylan and A … how easily can we fluster rylan. like REALLY fluster them. now and/or deep romance i need to see them sweat like a dyslexic on spellingbee
Rylan plays it pretty cool until you get right in their face and say something bold. Then they turn as red as a tomato and sputter like a rocket that's about to launch.
They're terrible with people who can match their confidence, especially since that side of them is mostly a front. Anyone who is genuinely that bold scares them (but it's super attractive).

Have you ever done a poll to see who's the most loved ro?
Not outright, because I think all of the ROs are loved in various different ways (if not equally by the public, than by me). But I do note when some ROs get more engagement than others, or which ROs get asked about the most.
Based on what I’ve seen, [A] and Blane are by far the most popular, with Rylan in third, and N and K towards the bottom. When you look at the tropes associated with the ROs though, this order makes a lot of sense. Friends-to-lovers and enemies-to-lovers have always been some of the most popular cliches.
At the end of the day, who is more popular doesn’t matter much to me. Everyone still gets the same amount of content and I know there are fans for everyone, so I’m happy :)

I want to give Blane a big hug, but I’m not sure how much they like me at the moment, so maybe just a pat on the shoulder will do.
(I absolutely love your writing too :))
I think they’d enjoy that hug more than they let on :))

This is my first run-through, so I'm only grazing over your blog for the sake of not getting spoilers... apologies if I say something that's obviously been said a trillion times.
I enjoy that K is upset with the player when they get hurt in chapter 7. I relate to K quite a bit in that regard... reckless behavior is troublesome... whenever I see it in romance fiction, I go, "isn't that more stupid than noble?". But it always seems to be something that drives the romance further rather than make any of the parties reconsider getting with such a reckless person.
Anyway, I think it's a testament to your ability to write things that deviate from the norm. I look forward to the rest of the route, and to doing the others. Have a good evening.
Thank you so much for saying this! I remember when the chapter first came out, it threw a lot of people off that K wasn't happy. Same with Chapter 6, when K got upset that the Hunter was too flirtatious. It may be a controversial way to approach things, sure, but to me it's a lot more realistic and enjoyable.
I'm happy that others see it like that too :)

— AUGUST 2025.
Accomplishments.
August was a weird one for me. Towards the beginning of the month, I was full to the brim of motivation and was riding the high of completing [A]'s route. But while I finished that during the first two weeks of August, when I tried to move onto someone else's route, I quickly realized how drained I was. Really, I should've seen it coming. Usually, 50,000 words signifies the end of a chapter, but because of the circumstances of Chapter 13, it meant I was less than halfway. Knowing how much I still have ahead of me despite having done so much was daunting. Is, daunting. Honestly, it kind of put a damper on my mood.
But! There is still good news. If you've been following me for a while now, you'll know that I have a three-step routine with my chapters before I send things off to beta-testers. First, the obvious step, writing. Second, I go through two rounds of edits for grammatical errors, continuity issues, and stylistic changes. Finally, I copy and paste everything into code, then send things off so my lovely testers can check over everything my tired eyes missed. With Chapter 13, I decided to switch things up. After completing [A]'s and Blane's routes, instead of jumping into another RO's branch, I started the editing process. I figured that it would help prevent writer's block and give my brain a break from the repetition of writing, while still ensuring that I got some work done. A win-win scenario, right? Well, kind of.
As it turns out, editing is pretty tedious too. This has always been one of my least favourite stages of the writing process, and boy, was I reminded of how much I dislike it when I opened my Word document. Of course, I'm mostly exaggerating, but I still can't lie and say that I find it fun, by any means. As if staring at your old (cringe) writing isn't bad enough, I also have to decipher what the hell my gibberish is. Luckily, though, it seems to be doing the job. While it's slow-going, after a week and a half of straight editing, I felt refreshed enough to start a new route again (I chose Rylan, hehe).
So, going forward in September, I'll be doing two things at once. One, finishing editing and coding Blane's route to send to beta-testers (which, if I keep this up, I plan on doing RO by RO, just to speed up the process). And two, writing as much of Rylan's route as possible. It's a strange set of multitasking that I've never done with this project before, but because the two routes are completely different entities, I think that things will work out. Hopefully, in doing this, I can trick my brain from falling into redundant patterns and prevent writer's block before it happens. God forbid that I get one.
In other news, I'm going back to college for the fall (good luck to anyone else who is in the same boat!), so I might not have as much time to write as I did before. At least, for the first period while I settle back into the groove of doing (ew) homework. Not that the statistics really show much work, haha, but I thought I'd give you all a heads up regardless. Anyway, that's all from me. I hope you all have a wonderful September! I'll talk to you soon <3

Hello! I took a big break from interactive fictions and i was kinda scared of how many of them would be abandoned by the time i came back but i'm so glad to still see yours around, i've read all the available chapters today and i love them! <3
I just had a question, because i'm wondering if it's on purpose or not, but is the MC becoming semi-set/set in terms of personality the more chapters we get? I'm genuinely asking that by curiosity! I just feel like since chapter ~9 approximately i kind of lost all control over my MC's personality
I’ve seen a lot of projects come and go (totally natural!! I’m not bashing anyone here), so sometimes I’m also surprised that I’m still here. Especially considering how easily I tend to abandon other projects. I’m glad you enjoyed the game!
To answer your other question, I’ll admit that recent chapters have less flavour text than initial ones, which may be why you feel like you aren’t seeing your MC represented well. I apologize for that! I was concentrating so hard on plot that it slipped my mind to add the little details. I’ll definitely go back and fix that soon, if not then by the end of the game.
Hopefully the game is still enjoyable regardless <3

There are things I love about every romance route but something about N's sudden confidence at certain points? My god. I'm aroace, but exceptions will always be made for Noele, because?? I'm so sad I didn't do their route sooner, I love them so much.
Of course, exceptions can be made, anon. No one’s judging!
I think it’s easy to see N as this peacemaker character who is pretty easygoing and lax, but they do have other sides to them—their confidence being one! It’s such a great trait that will only grow as they become more comfortable.
I haven’t written their romance lock scene yet, but you best believe I will be exploiting that side of them to the fullest.

I just wanted to say, in the patreon drabbles K is so loving and sweet, it's really adorable. They kind of remind me of one of my partners (Who also calls me Angel/mon ange). I can't stop reading the shorts because I miss them so much, I haven't seen them in person for a year now due to visa troubles so K has been such a comfort in a weird way? But anyway, just wanted to let you know that K is very much appreciated <3
Aww, this warms my heart. Long distance can be really tough, so I'm glad that you can find comfort in other things. I'm honoured that K can be that for you.
Writing K in Patreon drabbles versus in-game is always such a funny experience because in drabbles, they're so sweet and not afraid to show affection, whereas where we are now in-game, they are hellbent on shutting everyone out. I can't wait to get to the point where I'm writing about the same thing on both platforms haha <3

does letting the RO get injured negatively affect your relationship with them? i’ve never gone that route because i’m too scared to let that happen
No!! It will just affect some conversation in the next chapter <3

I’m sorry, I know this may sound weird-BUT PLEASE CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TO GET STABBED AT MIRIAS CLUB!? I keep seeing people talk about the stab and I’m like “What stab?! All I ever get is choked??” I can’t find a tag about it or nothing😭 Please Please
I wrote this in my notes a while back because even I was getting confused with the paths in that chapter haha. The “chance to sacrifice” is the Hunter getting stabbed.

hello!! currently on my fourth replay cuz i couldn’t stop thinking about this if <3 to clarify something, is the choice “uncomfortable by the attention” in chapter 1 suppose to increase the extroverted stat?
Ah, no. I’ll fix that tonight. Thank you :)
