10 years later and my shower thoughts myth busted that Michael Afton wasn’t the security guard in fnaf 3 for two reasons
1. why would he be hallucinating the animatronics from 1987 when he never had the experience as the nightguard, that was Jeremy
2. Michael doesn’t have a goddamn clue where William is. at the end of sister location, he says “I’m going to come find you.” bro lost track of his dad. Will went to go run errands and never came back
#the only way michael found him was during pizza sim#another theory i got was william wanted to clean up a loose end; michael; so he sent him to go find his sister in the fnaf bunker#but michael survived thanks to baby(elizabeth)#few years go by (michael has been living in the shadows) he finally makes the choice to find william (probably got wind of fazbear frights)#shower pondering over i lost my train of thought#five nights at freddy's#fnaf#fnaf 3#sister location#michael afton#william afton#unusual theory#ramble

it's my birthday so I get to draw the most self-indulgent au imaginable. buddycrew rtts alien edition. plus whatever buddy is
#my art#thoughts#lethal company#I GUESS.#oc: buddy#oc: five#oc: seven#oc: fifteen#winged it for buddy. strange individual that is forced to parasitize things it was never meant to parasitize#it's analogous to a human smile by coincidence. though it's meant to mimic the face of its species' usual hosts#the crew all being species where it's highly unusual to see them in space on their own adds to the company isolation#in theory this au would be slightly less physically hazardous than canon. maybe they stole a spaceship and are chilling

As y'all know I won't have time to do in depth posts until the 25th, but yes I saw the post and story from today. I'll just post these TTs as it summarizes my thoughts. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend you give this creator a follow if you haven't already! I really like her and her calm analyses, and we share a lot of the same thoughts/theories on all of this! 😊 P.S. One of the videos is "Friends only", so if you like this content creator, you can DM her on TT and ask to be added to her friends.

Just saw that you answered my ask about Logan and Ororo's unnamed son and how Evan could be their son. Thank you!
I can add to that! What if he's actually their son from a different dimension or a doomed timeline?
They could've wanted him to not suffer in their world or no longer exist in the doomed timeline.
So when he was a baby they used some dimension/timeline traveling tech to send him to a dimension or timeline (Evolution) where Storm has a human sister and brother in-law.
That why he could be raised by understanding people (who could get him to Xavier's school quickly) and still be connected to Ororo and Logan.
Also there are more hints to back up your theory.
Evan does look like Vivian and Mr. Daniels at all. In fact if you look at his hairstyle alone, it's Logan's but reversed (if there's a different way to put it, like me know).
Like Storm in other forms of X-Men media, have a connection with the Morlocks and became their protector (Like Mother, like son).
His Mutant abilities are even similar to Wolverine and Storm's.
His spikes can be used like Wolverine's claws. The boy's self-replicating exoskeleton is even similar to Wolverine's original bone claws and healing factor.
While projectile flaming spikes is only one element based ability, it's still an element based ability like Storm's.
His personality is SO similar to Wolverine's too. Hot-headed, short tempered, stubborn and lacks respect for authority.
I wanna know your thoughts on this
YESSS!!!
There's literally an action figure of him where he has lightning around him (like his mom) and his eyes are white, and there are a couple of spikes that are coming from the backs of his wrists, (like his dad)... his outfit looks strangely similar to Wolverine's and Storm's which is pretty cool.
There were also a bunch of other scenes where those two were what it looked like, getting reacquainted with each other and worked together really well.
Also there's the scene in "Spyke Cam" where Logan pulls what I like to call the classic "dad save moment"
He also talks like Logan sometimes... giving nicknames and terms like him, his voice sounds like a combo between theirs as well. Especially when he's in his older teens...
I also find it VERY INTERESTING how when Logan went to talk to him that one time when he was with the Morlocks, he said, "Since you're a 'big boy now', you get me. "

The Spell Of Eternity: was it really for saving onceborns, or just an elaborate plan to keep the bloodline powered by things they wish they had??
[spoilers for legendborn and bloodmarked, read at your own caution ;)]
so i was rereading legendborn, again, for research purposes and this part has been itching me since forever
camlann wasn't triggered when the onceborns were attacked. what does that even mean. why wasn't it triggered. isn't the whole purpose supposed to be to save onceborns??
*rant incoming*
so like if onceborns are dying left and right the order will just, what, cover up everything, mesmer the victims, keep tabs on them till they die and that's it??
what's even the point then. was there any knight in existence that ever truly cared about the people they are "sworn" to protect?? or was this just an excuse.
excuse for arthur to extend his rule?? excuse for merin to keep his "demonia in check" (that feels like bs to me but yeah nvm) excuse for the knights to gain powers??
idk why im reading into this so much but just idk man the order is already so sus and on top of it they be doing shit like this i don't even know.
like what's the point of the knights anyways, regents do all the mesmerwork and shit, all the investigations and everything, at this point it's like exactly what davis said, legendborn is just a society. symbolic. no work value whatsoever. not until davis forced it anyways.
like even without legendborn, like without anyone opening up gates because till date I've only scene these people opening gates i doubt any brokers would do that, regents are doing everything to keep this side of the world hidden from everyone. the brokers keep demons and humans in check, they have their own community. rootcrafters have their own community. everyone is happy by themselves legendborn isn't even doing anything rn except for opening up gates and purposefully starting camlan.
what the heck is happening anyways.
#im went horribly off track but whateva dude#this is my blog anyways bwahaha#but yeah the motives are unusual to me too#arthur is already a piece of shit#who knows how the other knights were#the descendants aren't any better either#imma go back to making theories#the legendborn cycle#legendborn cycle#legendborn#bloodmarked#oathbound#tracy deonn#lbc#legendborn theories#thoughts im boutta scream

So it is canon that other dessert creatures have different kinds of jam as blood
So my headcanon that dragons have grape jam has a leg to stand on
But also it makes sense for Choco Werehound Brute since black forest cake is made with cherries
#this has been an old headcanon that I never really wanted to let go#and this somewhat validates it#or at least opens it up to the possibility#since they aren’t Cookies by this logic they probably don’t have strawberry jam#also related is a personal headcanon that Dark Cacao has an unusual amount of grape jam in his dough#in place of strawberry jam#but that’s a whole other thing#anyways#cookie run#cookie run kingdom#random stuff#theory#headcanon

gotta say that if bram stoker is trying to convince me that Renfield isn't actually future Johnathan from another timeline, then he isn't doing a very good job at it
#dracula daily#dracula#i'm joking i promise........ mostly#look the timeloop talk is getting to me; can you blame me for illogical brain wondering if time shenanigans are involved lmaoooo#obviously the mention of the guy's strength earlier makes you think of how dracula is described at the start#but it obviously can't be dracula himself#so it's either another random vampire OR............ *conspiracy voice* johnathan who got turned into a vampire in another timeline.....#HE WRITES IN A NOTEBOOK. THAT'S NOT A VERY UNUSUAL HOBBY OBVIOUSLY BUT#IT STANDS OUT WHEN OUR MC HAS BEEN DOING NOTHING BUT WRITING IN A NOTEBOOK/JOURNAL/DIARY THIS WHOLE TIME!!!#and just cutting back to some Mysterious Guy in general while we don't know Johnathan's fate........ yeah#a guy who is in an asylum which happens to be right next to the place johnathan had picked out for dracula#obviously no one would be expecting to find time travel/universe travel in their gothic literature lmao#so this is not a serious theory anyone would seriously have#but on the other hand...... we already have a freaking cowboy. this book is already wild enough. WHY NOT

I would love to hear the megatheorem
It's not ready for full publication and won't be for a while tbh, but like, maybe before the end of summer? If I'm being optimistic? It will definitely go up here when it's finished, although probably in parts because it's an absolute beast, currently weighing in at over 25 pages and nearly 13k words.
Here's a sneak peek at the table of contents though 😎⚔💀
Also I'm just now noticing that I have "Empty's as Good as Clean" from the draft version of the poem instead of the published version as a section title, whoops. Pretend that's on purpose. Maybe it's a nod to the like, three hours where we thought @torbooks was speaking to us in code. That sounds like both a regular thing to happen as well as to reference, right?
Some segments have stuff I've pulled in from things I've posted here before but off the top of my head I don't think any of the sections are fully anything I've posted here. That is to say, as the draft currently stands, every section has new analyses in addition to anything pulled in from previous posts, though I'd say most of the sections are things I've haven't posted. I believe the sections that have the most pulled from "old" content are Lyctorhood Lite, Resurrection vs Waking Up, and A Cavalier by Any Other Name, which would all be under my "tlt meta" tag - I'll tag this one for ease of navigation if you want to poke around.
But don't worry, when it's ready, I will make sure everyone is subjected to my theories.
#it took me months and months to get it into a state where i could even organize it into sections like this tbh#for a long time it was just 25 pages of stream of consciousness rambling lol#i would not subject anyone to my FULLY unfiltered stream of consciousness. cruel and unusual etc.#tlt meta#<- tag where you can find my other red-string-and-newspaper-clippings style theories#[slurps milkshake through a bendy straw]#<- easter egg tag because you asked so nicely 😏#tlt#the megatheorem#nona the ninth spoilers#(not really but just in case)#ask#emotionalsupportknife#the mega-theorem

quick note - this blog is gonna be sparse again for at least this week. trying new medications and tbh initial side effects are not super pleasant + actual effects build up. as a result: currently as if unmedicated for mental health, with anxiety+ side effect, extra fatigue, dizziness, and fatigue. it's uh, sure something.
totally recognize that most of y'all know we're absent at times due to health things, just wanted to give a heads up that this one is at least anticipated.
#fun fact sometimes condensing meds just means poorer treatment of some conditions#this is a re-expansion + new thing#so that instead of poorly treating my mental health and using an unusually high dose SNRI for another (physical) condition#i will hopefully both be in less pain AND not depressed af AND also have an appetite again#i doubt i will be lucky and not have a fucked stomach due to meds but one can hope that an appetite will allow me to eat foods that upset#my stomach a lot less#my health is forever a massive balancing act#every time a medical thing is like 'so what meds do u take' i'm like here i wrote it down for u#and they're like 'oh. ooookay. let me just...' *five minutes of typing and clicking later*#'so! what did you come in for again? uhuh. you said you experience pain daily? with your chronic pain thing? hm. have you tried yoga?'#/gen#like. straight up every time i say 'i am in pain all the time due to fibromyalgia' they are like 'ooh studies say regular exercise helps'#and like. theoretically yes! but also. i would be lying if i said the fibromyalgia studies i've skimmed don't set off general 'bad science'#alarm bells in my brain#like... cool you performed a fibromyalgia study with... all male lab rats? mhmm? so are you aware fibromyalgia appears to occur#overwhelmingly in women? like. data seems to suggest between 70-85%?#(not that the data can't still indicate things but it certainly makes male rats a poor choice of model for tests on it)#also just... idk i've looked at some metaanalysis and been like 'okay cool theory and for all i know about human bio or bio in general that#sounds more or less correct BUT. you never discussed that one study on this subject that did NOT support your conclusion.#and that's 1) interesting when it was the most diverse group of subjects and the exceptions often teach just as much as the 'rule'#2) just shitty science. tell me how your theory is still credible when some evidence doesn't fit the model.#like... 'given that all other studies were primarily conducted on white american women in their 30s to 40s it is possible that this model#only explains (the early effects of fibro since that's a typical onset period) / (a possible genetic link primarily found in white women) /#(a possible sign of bias in diagnosis that demonstrates the possibility that there are different causes) / combinations of all of those#like... idk a paper that just throws out things that don't support it is a pretty big red flag#it doesn't mean the conclusion is entirely incorrect but it is often important to understand the context in which it applies#like... it's very easy to jump to an incorrect conclusion if you used something in the wrong context#ie: thumbs up is a good job / positive thing in a lot of western civilizations. teenage kee once went to china and discovered it to be#neutral to offensive in many areas outside of major tourist locations that were used to it#anyways i gotta sleep

godd i'm so. compelled. by the audio in this show. i'm finally allowing myself a re-watch, now that school is out of session, and i finally got to 'the ladder' episode. and i noticed that, right after sir john gets thrown down the ice hole, that the audio gets strangely muffled.
almost like it's underwater. the only thing that isn't muffled is the music in the background.
#that and the fact that it's preceded by another piece with a 3/4 meter much like the first music we hear in the show#like on the one hand the audio distortion happens after fitzjames and company find sir john's leg#so on the one hand it could very much be an auditory distortion of what people are going through. how the stress makes everything slippery.#distorted.#but it could also be a representation of the location of his grave.#his death is preceded by a lot of other scalar motion in a 3/4- esque time meter. which is the same meter as the music that we first hear#it's not like. a waltz really. it's missing the characteristic weight of the meter#but it is tonal. or at least tonal-adjacent.#and i wonder if that's a representation of the last vestiges of british civilization dying in that moment#bc when all is normal we have a similar tonal-ish slant. but when sir john is off-screen there is very little of that same sound.#the rest of it has much more unusual harmony and little to no harmonic movement#very experimental and drone-esque.#this is all very off the top of my head with little to no serious music theory analysis. esp bc most of this is decidedly post-tonal#idk. it's compelling. bc i'm pretty sure after sir john dies all of that scalar movement and tonal-ish melodic structuring goes away#sorry this is literally just me rotating the audio of the show in my brain but out loud now. just rambling and throwing out ideas#before they're fully formed#but they are ideas.#the terror

Shadows of Fear: The Death Watcher (1.4, Thames, 1971)
"I should like to have danced with you first, you know. It may sound frivolous, but I mean it. There's a certain communication involved there. Have you noticed how some couples have a much more highly developed intuition? They dance as one. There is instinctive anticipation. I used to be very good at ballroom dancing. These are my trophies. Once, I reached the county finals with a girl. Her name was Beryl Harcourt. We were completely in sympathy, you see. That's why I made her the subject of my first experiment. After she'd... gone, I used to play the gramophone in my bedroom for hours on end. We used to do a speciality tango. There's a lot of jealousy and backbiting in those competitions, you know."
#shadows of fear#the death watcher#1971#single play#horror tv#classic tv#thames#jacques gillies#peter duguid#john neville#judy parfitt#victor maddern#michael hawkins#george hagan#daphne oxenford#ann way#perhaps (if memory serves) (and it doesn't always) the closest this series comes to dipping a toe into the supernatural; but only a pinky#toe and only very very slightly. the plot is relatively old hat: a slightly mad student of ghosties and whatnot decides to test a theory#about communicating beyond the grave‚ unfortunately involving the abduction and eventual murder of an expert on ESP. as always with this#series‚ the emphasis seems to have been solely on finding strong casts over other visual concerns; still a cheap looking series with just a#couple of sets (tho it does actually manage a little location shooting). Neville‚ in one of his last uk tv appearances before his move to#Canada‚ is the unbalanced science wannabe‚ in a typically restrained and subtle (considering the character and the plot) performance#the great Judy P is his unfortunate victim and is very good but has little to do past the halfway mark except to act scared or drugged or#both. Duguid's direction is unusually showy for this series; he favours extreme closeups on eyes and mouths during key scenes of#exposition‚ adding to the general sense of uneasy weirdness around everything that's happening. the very ending is the series at#its most deliberately spooky‚ but it works; a troubling little sting in the tail of an old fashioned bit of mad science nonsense#oh and Neville's monologues near the end of the ep (part quoted above) are truly something‚ a real masterclass moment

Reclining on a fainting couch, hands laced together and resting over my stomach as I stare up at the ceiling. Why the fuck do I so frequently end up caught between being attracted to mean guys (and gals) but also the wife material guys? Duality of man is falling for both all the time, apparently, and never knowing which I actually genuinely like better.
I wrote out a whole theory about why I like mean people before I realised the logic no longer applied to my current circumstances/character and now I'm back at square one. Perhaps the real answer is as lame as: because I like a challenge and the idea that someone treats me Extra Special compared to how they treat others.
At the end of the day, idk.
#reflecting on characters like jin kamurai primarily#cause like. why HIM girl lol#don't get me wrong he also gets on my nerves#I Do Not like getting bossed around (much) (okay well maybe it depends)#I hate waiting on someone's hand and foot 24/7 but actually I don't mind being an errand boy (gender neutrally)#there's a difference trust me#but there needs to be some kind of reward involved#thankless stuff will just have my eye twitching#maybe apply that logic to how I like specific kinds of mean guys#the reward for pursuing them despite on the surface getting no return since they're mean and uninterested#can range from getting a flustered/unusual reaction out of them to actually finding a tiny thing to grasp onto and be delusional about#in the end the reward is hard-earned dopamine#again idk I'm just rambling and thinking aloud#the Extra Special part is pathetically real though#spent a lot of time yearning for a best friend until I found some#and a selfish part of me wants to be special in other ways to someone too#you know???#I think now we're circling back to an element of my og theory I drafted where this is all linked to childhood#how typical#in a more humorous sense there's a way I can apply all this to the way I enjoy videogames but that might be an essay for another day#while we also examine themes of self-inflicted suffering and again challenges
