The Nexus is a gargantuan artificial intelligence built to design and sustain a city. It partially succeeded, before being interrupted by the outbreak of a world war. Most of humanity was wiped out, and the Nexus was left in a state of disrepair in a dead city.

Humans were left in little pockets of scavenging groups, while most other AI were made with military or industrial purposes in mind, so went haywire picking fights with these humans or exploding anyone trying to rob their meager supplies. Ari is the 'leader' of one such group, who have had bad run-ins with other AIs, but they thought the Nexus was dead, so deemed it safe to explore.

The Nexus missed people terribly. It was at first afraid, but then welcomed its new population. It gives the group shelter and information about stable human settlement, while the group gradually trust it enough to learn to repair it. Ari, the most technically skilled and curious of the bunch, is bestowed the honor of working very closely with the Nexus. They grow close.

Buddy and its crew, but what if they were in hit Roblox game Pressure,

Buddy is like the Mask of Sadness. Assimilation is a conscious, intentional process. The crew grow exhausted of Urbanshade's endless torment. Every time they're killed, Urbanshade just brings them back to send them back in. Buddy waits for them to come back every time. Then, they realize, Urbanshade can't keep that cycle going if they never die.

They're all in there. They share control of the body. To them, it's better than watching each other get torn apart by monsters and gunned down.

little commission update for 2025

just a heads-up: I'll be updating my commission sheet for the new year. I'm not 100% sure what it'll look like yet, but most of the pricing should stay about the same. I just really want to update examples and formatting, and add drawing and writing commission examples, now that I have those under my belt!

I'll be moving my commission info to a Neocities page so it can forever stay up to date. unless I decide to not do that, in which case the sheet will just be a post here, as the current commission sheet is. Good chance I'll yoink screenshots of it to post anyways

Assuming all goes well timing-wise, I'll probably "close" commissions for the first couple days of January, and make a fancy official post about the shiny new commission page once it's done.

I say "close" in quotes because if you realllllyy wanted to commission me and didn't want to wait 48 hours for Mildly Tweaked Prices, you can still contact me then. Also, writing commission prices won't change, so those will stay open.

Also, I won't have the "slot" system anymore. I don't think I need it 👍if I die I die

Thank you to everyone who's commissioned me this year. It's really helped take some of the pain out of student expenses. Cheers to a good 2025 :)
