Hey yall.
Update:
I still need help but I'm in a better spot now.
I can't say much more than that.
It's my intention to use what life I have left for these reasons:
1. To enjoy Life because most of my life has been traumatic.
2. To use my abilities for the betterment of myself and others.
3. To create an organization specifically to help disabled trans mascs and others. Bc there needs to be more.
4. To use all my resources to create a post scarcity society founded on mutual aid, self sustainability, and compassionate understanding/unconditional regard.
If you'd like to help me - a disabled trans man of color - make a better life..
Venmo: @torchport

I also draw. If you want something for 10$ or so.

I'm definitely a little crazy
A little stupid
But I'm more sick and tired than anything else
I just want the life I strive for
The people who will love and appreciate me
I won't get them if I don't take risks, have a bit of faith, and try my hardest
So that's what I'm doing
And getting some rest in the mean time

Just to be clear:
I have every right to be angry, disappointed, and bitter
I'm ignored because I'm displaying normal ass emotions under a really fucked up situation
And most people are mad that I'm disabled and discriminated against
Or that I'd even deign to be angry about the lack responses
Because I'm brown, trans, queer, and disabled
Hey. Maybe instead of trying to make someone feel worse or ignoring them you could be decent people and actually help
(directed specifically at the people who have money and don't want to help)
Venmo : @torchport
Cashapp: $onepeaceman
For those who can spare it.
I block liberally, if you're gonna waste our time and be an ass about me being poor/disabled/discriminated against

it's time now. it's time to imagine the brightest future you can, and talk about it.
a future where people only work 8 hours a week and everyone's basic needs are met. a future where we are more connected to nature and eat seasonal, local produce. a future where you look out for your neighbours and they look out for you. a future where you actually know who your neighbours are. a future where everyone is just a lot more relaxed and able to do whatever they want to do - this 8 hour working week has given people their lives back and now they're able to make community events, work in community gardens, sing and dance and spend time with their kids, play whatever sport they want, travel, read, create art and music.
People are interacting with each other in good faith again because money as an ulterior motive has all but disappeared. Cus you see a few decades ago they made profits illegal. All money has to be put back into the company and CEOs can take home a salary only, no bonuses and it can't be more than 3x what the lowest paid employee makes. You can go to jail if your company is found to make profits, advertise on a large scale or pay its high ranking members more than what's allowed.
Jail still exists but mostly people go in for financial crimes (greed still exists); drugs are decriminalised and available to use safely. people are not as desperate now so there's been a massive reduction of violent and petty crime and most of the people who still do this are teenagers who get away with a slap on the wrist. police are not armed anymore and are heavily penalised if they abuse their power or hurt a civilian, and their role is more that of mediator, signposter (to community services, social services, and free and accessible healthcare including for mental health) and security. together with the former military they make up an "emergency task force" which are called upon in times of need and crisis, for floods, fires, other such disasters.
the stock market completely collapsed after profits were made illegal and people had to find other ways to figure out what a company was worth: such as how they treat their staff or how accessible their processes are. as a result of this, as well as more widespread disability thanks to Covid and an ageing population, accessibility is fucking incredible now. most places are accessible to the vast majority of disabled people even without them having to ask for a single thing. If they have to ask, accommodations are made quickly and without fuss and this is completely normal now. disabled people are more visible than ever in public life and this has led to a generally kinder, more tolerant public life.
Everything is slower now. Social media as we know it died decades ago and Internet 4.0 is efficient, will find you accurate answers and the websites you're looking for very easily and fast. there's monopoly laws restricting how large companies operate online. online ads are all but illegal - there's "phone book" esque pages where you can promote your business or service and that's allowed but not anywhere else. Lots of people are still annoying and some of them are still cruel but overall living together as humans has gotten so much more chill. We've tackled climate change and reversed much of it, now it's a global day of mourning whenever a species is found to be extinct through human intervention. these days used to happen much more frequently but it's very rare these days. Most everyone gets the day off and is encouraged to read about the lost species or hold themed funerals. Globally everything has gotten better - there's much more global equality now after a bunch of western/formerly colonising countries almost self destructed and then instead decided to own up for colonialism, pay reparations to a lot of countries in Africa Asia and Latin America, as well as indigenous nations of North America, Oceania, even in Europe. The USA doesn't exist anymore instead its a whole host of separate nations all managed by the native people whose land it is. The UK doesn't exist anymore. England is still sad about it but Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Cornwall are called Cymru, Alba, Eire and Kernow again and they've formed a Celtic Union for better collective bargaining power in the EU (which still exists, somehow. Its better now. England may still be out of the EU I'm not sure). Migration is common and foreigners are welcomed into any country with open arms.
I may try to write something about this. I have a vision for a future and it's so lovely. Here, on earth, with the starting point being now. We have a lot to work with and only a few changes could make such a difference. Demilitarisation, UBI and maximum working hours, greedy financial practices made illegal. Conservation and education on local plants and nature and food. Community building on every level. Giving people their lives back.
This is all extremely possible. If it were up to me, very little in society would be left unchanged but it would all be people friendly changes. changes that aim to support the poorest and most marginalised, changes that aim to punish greed and exploitation. It's a work in progress of course. But I have a vision for a better world and dammit if I'm not going to share it with you.

Programs like this always show the same results - people are better off and better able to participate in life and society in healthy ways when they are financially secure. It's past time to make universal basic income a reality for all Americans.

The truth is no one really wants a job
They want purpose or a vocation
They want to be safe, healthy, and free
And let's be honest: no matter what sort of person you are - disabled or not - you're not going to always produce anything
Nor should one's ability to be safe healthy and free be determined by some bullshit like the economy
Which is destroying everything, btw
It's 2024. I've said it probably a dozen times now: we should be living in something closer to a utopia than this
(Don't argue with me about what a utopia is)(you know what the fuck I mean when I say that)(not this capitalist/"democratic" hellscape)
i seriously can not understand the appeal of a career
of the grind
maybe the sense of porpoise? The stability?
"You just need to find a job that you love."
But i do not love anything that i am forced to do.
There are many things i like to do, but i don't want to do them just because otherwise i will starve on the streets? Also what is the likelihood of me doing something i actually enjoy? I don't really see them to be honest.
I just want a job that allows me too live comfortably with little. Get a cat, a couple of books at month, and maybe travel or eat out.
Nothing major.
I don't think i'll ever have that tho. Not in the way the world is currently.

being a therapist during an election season is wild. i listen to so many people lambasting basic liberal ideas during their sessions + smile and nod while thinking about how if they knew my opinions on any of this stuff they'd probably throw up and shit themselves.
#haxxy stop#sniles sweetly. ummm what if we had universal healthcare AND universal basic income AND prison abolition AND decriminalization of drugs AND#meanwhile they keep having the same argument on the news about basic shit like needle swaps and free narcan#baby if i had a say in it there'd be safe drug use centers like portugal has#baby if i had a say in it NIMBY assholes wouldn't be able to throw legal fits about transitional or low income housing being established#etc and so on. you know the drill

I’m absolutely fascinated by the idea of what influencer culture and creativity might look like with universal basic income
Because I don’t think that would go away, I think some people are naturally good at creating a vibe that’s enticing to watch and possibly emulate
And if everyone had the access to follow their passions through time and allocation of funds, how many more people would join in and how many more would opt out
Because while I don’t think it’d go away I do think a lot of people engaging and creating the content do so because it fills a hole in their lives
I wonder what these niches would look like if they were built on mutual enjoyment, shared desires. The want to engage, understand, explore, and create within the medium that is the aesthetics of one’s life
Instead of envy and unattainable access to an ideal, it was “oh that looks fun/nice I’d like to experience that too, i’ll make some simple changes to my schedule & budget and try it out”
Maybe you find out you do like having fresh baked bread but you’re more of a budget to get a bread machine or schedule a stopping at the bakery kinda person, and those changes are not a penny pinching/neck breaking rush to find time kinda of luxury thing
A world where finding joys only barriers are simple personal mental juggling acts, and if you struggle you have access to healthcare to help with executive function be it needed meds or behavioral changes
A world where maybe you are budgeting like a crazed accountant and your schedule is filled to the gills, but it’s because you love life and it’s experiences that much! It’s simply self imposed because you wanna take everything in with the finite time you have on earth and that’s it
You missed a concert or something because you crashed for a nap, it’s a bummer but it’s not a major deal, you’ll catch them another time and you know you will because you didn’t have to starve to save up for it and your jobs based on a task that needs to be done instead of profit so scheduling isn’t a nightmare
And your nap was great because that influencer was right a lavender infused pillow shaped like a baby hippo is worth the hype and now you’re well rested, you text your friends to come over when the shows done because you have a new recipe to try and they can tell you how it went while y’all eat and set up to marathon that new anime everyone’s yapping about
Your friends show up and they brought some fancy artisanal drink a local shop makes that you’ve been dying to try!!

Idk how people go into social science research knowing that you're anyway going to spend your entire life arguing with wilfully ignorant fuckwits over stuff like "keeping one-tenth of the world's GDP locked up in a handful of people's accounts is bad for a functional economy'', "you shouldn't have to pay money to stay alive", "letting people mind their own business won't hurt you", "knowledge is good actually", "people have the right to do whatever they want with their own bodies", "children are people too", "germs are real", "spreading disease is bad for society", "genocide is bad actually", "letting the government kill people puts everyone in danger because everyone is people", "access to long-distance murder weapons increases the chances of getting murdered", "you can't give a clump of cells the same rights as a human being" ad fucking nauseaum until you die.
#maybe we should just use small words and picture books#make up a ''why people dont need murder weapons'' song#hotline for explaining ''it's called human 'rights' because you can't take them away''#social justice#ableism#anti vaxxers#human rights#abolition#homelessness#universal healthcare#universal basic income#food security#military industrial complex#child rights#body autonomy#pro choice#gay rights#trans rights#acab#anti intellectualism#racism#disability justice#compassion fatigue#knee of huss

My biggest problem right now is that I don't want to exist in the actual real world reality. All the things that excite me here are either unreachable or impossible to monetise in a way that keeps me even vaguely interested
#s3lf#i want to be everything and live everything and know everything#and the fact that i have to do something to make money off of it is soul crushing to me#honestly this is why i want to live in a technocracy#basic livelihood allowance + basic energy credit allowance + guaranteed housing + universal healthcare#+ a government who gives a shit about the youth for the sake of its own survival

We should have councils of people who are the best in any given field of knowledge:
Science
Medicine
Politics
History
Psychology
Sexuality/Gender
Economy
Ecology
Etc
They will be diverse - of many ethnicities, religious, genders, and backgrounds.
Have these councils come to various conclusions about how to save humanity in the most rational way.
That means dealing with the ultra rich.
That means dealing with the super corrupt "democracy" we have that still oppresses minorities
That means dealing with the military and prison industrial complexes
That means dealing with Western (and other types) Imperialism
That means dealing with corporations
That means dealing with the environmental disasters we've wrought.

i need help fr
got my other account shadowbanned because I asked too many people for help
@sundemonlord
can't even message or post comments with it anymore
If anyone could send 30$ that would make my day right now.
I'm a disabled trans man of color living in Indiana. I've done my best -- fighting against my disability and discrimination -- but I'm at the end of my rope now.
Please don't ignore this. Please help me. 10$ even would be helpful.
Thank you!

I want to write a Vanyel/Stefen modern-with-magic AU soooo bad but I don’t know Valdemar lore like at all. There are six books standing between me and feeling comfortable enough in the lore to imagine what Valdemar might look like with the internet and planes
#anyway I have unhinged ideas about what modern Valdemar#like. I’m imagining Valdemar as a prosperous#happy country with a high level of social development and technology#public transit everywhere. universal basic income/free high quality healthcare/etc#like. not utopian. not by a long shot.#but overall doing well (at least in comparison to some of the other countries on Velgarth)#HOWEVER they are having this really divisive cultural moment about Heralds and the King#bc they’re basically appointed by a completely unaccountable higher power? and they have so much direct influence and control over#the life of an average person??? why should that be allowed?#so there’s a movement for direct democracy which is very successful at a local level#and is slowly making its way into higher levels of the government#and there’s suddenly intense scrutiny on the heralds. so when Vanyel gets caught up in a series of scandals it does a LOT of damage to#the institution of the heralds. but Vanyel is very very important to the security of the world#bc he successfully prevented the detonation of a nuclear weapon a few years earlier so he’s sort of the only thing standing between#the world and nuclear war#anyway I think that setting is way too dramatic for a weird gay fanfiction. so I’m workshopping it#vanyel ashkevron#last herald mage#gay herald in a squirrel suit

my absolutely biggest online pet peeve is US centric people projecting their rich sorority girl bully stereotype of nurses onto everyone else, as if nurses aren't working class and mostly immigrants of colour everywhere else. and when did it become cool to hate on underpaid and exploited workers anyway
#*when i say ''everywhere else'' i mean sweden specifically. idk what it's like in other countries#anyway it bothers me to no end#most of my coworkers are 1. very nice and 2. quite poor and part of many oppressed classes and groups#a vast majority of them are either single mothers who have immigrated from the middle east or africa#or young afghan men who came here in 2015-2021 during the refugee wave#on many shifts ive been 1. the only nurse born in sweden and 2. the only female nurse#your experiences are not universal#the way the internet talks about nurses bothers me to no end! not every nurse makes insane dollars a year and is blonde and married to a cop#i googled this once and american nurses on average make 2x or even nearly 4x of what i made at my previous job. depending on state#enough ppl in the ward i worked at were muslim that we celebrated ramadan all of us basically. not exactly but it did affect the schedule#many of my coworkers could barely afford clothes for all their kids and we all worked crazy hours and kept getting overworked and burnt out#i hate the american stereotype!!!!!#''nurses are mostly high school bullies who like being in control of and hurting vulnerable people'' no! that isn’t true! it just isn’t!#lots of bad healthcare isnt bc the workers are sadists.its bc the resources from the government are lacking and the workers are understaffed#like#we know when the care isn’t good. and it feels Bad actually to not be able to do it better#lots ppl change professions bc of the ethical stress. it's not fun. and sometimes it's obvious a patient feels like theyre not getting heard#but you don't have the time to sit down and listen or whatever else. there isn't time or resources for it#and a lot of crucial vital conditions/symptoms sometimes get missed bc of lack of resources and competence quitting#it's not bc nurses are evil and want ppl to die and suffer. i feel like this has got to be some kind of propaganda circulating#it's such a bizarre stereotype when you think about it. and it's just not true to reality. idk#anyway what do i know. maybe they are actually evil in america. it's possible. a lot of bizarre things are true in america#i just hate the narrative online#pickapost
