Per usual you and the other genocide supporter are full of shit. I wonder where your self righteous outrage was back in 2019.
In July 2019, the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) adopted a resolution titled “Situation of and assistance to Palestinian women” (E/RES/2019/28). This resolution expressed concern over the impact of Israeli occupation on Palestinian women and girls, highlighting it as a significant obstacle to their advancement and self-reliance.
40 countries voted for the resolution including: France, Norway and Denmark. I’m sure you’re outraged at them or is your outraged just targeted at Muslim countries.
Funny the ones currently support the apartheid states genocide and ethnic cleansing voted no or abstained: US, UK and Germany.
Israel’s apartheid system:
Israel’s implementation of checkpoints, the separation wall, and restricted areas significantly limits Palestinian women’s freedom of movement. This affects their access to education, employment, and healthcare.
Land theft, restrictions on farming and fishing, and military blockades, particularly in Gaza, create economic instability that disproportionately affects women.
Israeli policies of home demolitions in the West Bank and East Jerusalem have displaced thousands of Palestinian families. Women and girls often bear the psychological and logistical burden of rebuilding lives in the face of displacement.
Since 1967, it is estimated that over 800,000 Palestinians have been detained by Israel, affecting nearly every Palestinian family. As of December 2024, approximately 8,800 Palestinians are held in Israeli prisons, including women and minors.
Between October 7 and October 21, 2023, the number of Palestinian prisoners in Israel doubled to approximately 10,000, reflecting mass arrests during that period.
The detainee population includes women and minors. Reports indicate that Palestinian women in Israeli prisons face escalating violence and harsh conditions. Many of these detainees have reported experiencing sexual abuse and rape.
A number of these detainees are held under administrative detention, a practice allowing imprisonment without charge or trial, based on undisclosed evidence.
Reports indicate that Israeli soldiers have sexually assaulted Palestinian women at checkpoints, exploiting their positions of power to commit such acts.
Palestinian women are subjected to harassment and humiliation at checkpoints, including verbal abuse and invasive searches, contributing to psychological trauma and a sense of insecurity.
Women, including those who are pregnant or in need of medical care, often face prolonged delays or are denied passage at checkpoints, leading to serious health complications and, in some cases, fatalities.
Your two examples:
The claim that the UN ignored the death of Mahsa Amini and Iran’s violent crackdown on protests isn’t true. In fact, in December 2022, the UN took the unprecedented step of removing Iran from the Commission on the Status of Women as a direct response to these events.
The UN invites all member countries, even controversial ones, to speak. This doesn’t mean it endorses their leaders or actions. It’s part of the UN’s mission to bring everyone to the table. Like how the war criminal Netanyahu spoke in 2024 while Palestinians burned in tents at a refugee camp bombed by the most moral army.
Question for you, why aren’t you and the other keyboard warrior outraged at this and doing something about:
Ethiopian Israeli women face obstacles in employment and education, often due to systemic discrimination and socio-economic disparities.
Ethiopian Israeli women often encounter unequal educational opportunities, limiting their access to higher education and professional advancement.
As of 2023, Ethiopian Israelis constitute about 1.9% of candidates in civil service tenders but only 1.5% of successful applicants, indicating a lower success rate compared to their representation. Additionally, their presence is predominantly in lower-level positions, with minimal representation in senior roles.
In 2022, 11.1% of Jewish juveniles tried in criminal courts were of Ethiopian origin, more than three times their proportion of the population, highlighting systemic biases in the criminal justice system.
Oh, that’s right it has nothing to do with Palestinians.

Lula advocates UN reform: 'The post of secretary-general has never been held by a woman'
The statement was made at the opening ceremony of the United Nations General Assembly in New York
On Tuesday morning (24), President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Workers’ Party) advocated reform of the United Nations (UN) in New York, United States.
Lula was applauded by heads of state and members of delegations from foreign countries when he said that “there is no gender balance in the exercise of the highest functions [of the UN]. The post of secretary-general has never been held by a woman.”
“It is time to react vigorously to this situation, restoring the organization and the prerogatives that derive from its status as a global forum. One-off adjustments are not enough. We need to consider a broad revision of the [UN] charter,” said the president.
The reform, in his words, should include four points. The first is to include sustainable development issues and the fight against climate change in the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), with “real capacity to inspire financial institutions.”
The other points are updating the theme of international peace and security, given the growing scenario of conflicts and wars around the world; strengthening a peace-building agenda; and a specific reform of the United Nations Security Council, “focusing on its composition, working methods and right of veto, to make it more effective and representative of contemporary reality.”

[ad_1] The Indian Embassy in Austria said in a statement on Friday that India has been chosen to Chair the 68th Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND). Ambassador Shambhu S Kumaran, India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Vienna, officially assumed the Chairmanship of the prestigious UN forum. The CND is the principal policy-making body of the United Nations on drug-related matters. It is mandated to monitor global drug trends, support Member States in formulating balanced policies, and oversee the implementation of the major international drug conventions. The CND is one of the functional commissions of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and a Governing Body of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) which is headquartered in Vienna. In a post on X, the embassy said, “India has been chosen to Chair the 68th Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND). Shambhu Kumaran officially assumed the Chairmanship of CND today. This is the 1st time that has been named to Chair this important UN body.” India has been chosen to Chair the 68th Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND). This reinforces India’s growing leadership role on the global stage and its commitment to addressing international issues through established multilateral mechanisms, as per the statement. As Chair, India will be expected to articulate the interests of the Global South in line with its role in promoting the interests and perspectives of developing nations in global discussions. India would also strive to build on the ongoing work of the CND to foster dialogue and understanding on drug policy issues and especially to integrate concerns of emerging economies with the priorities of developed nations to promote holistic and balanced approaches to this key issue. Over the coming year, the CND’s agenda is expected to focus on strengthening international collaboration to address critical issues such as illicit drug trafficking, substance abuse, and their associated social and health impacts as well as availability of internationally controlled substances for medical and scientific purposes. By prioritizing multilateral dialogue and evidence-based solutions, India will continue to partner with other member states of the CND to advance equitable, inclusive, and sustainable strategies on all these issues, the statement added [ad_2] Source link
