Unicorns are funny if you think about it. You put a horn on a horse and suddenly that makes it a symbol of purity and goodness.

We’re doing Donuts and Dogs and I saw a fey little dog before it came into my beloveds vision. It’s got long flowing hair in a banner of white and cream and walked daintily at its owners side. “Oh, a little thing,” I said to my beloved.

When they finally saw the little dog they brayed a laugh and said, “It’s the Lady Amalthea!”

I cannot explain how right they were or how funny I found it and laughed so loud the owner turned slightly toward our car.
