Demian ( Idles- I’m Scum): Demian embodies rebellion and rule-breaking, a trait that both defines him and presents a perpetual challenge. I selected this song for its rhythm and ironic message. However, Demian also reminds me of all the songs in Idles' repertoire. He’s a bit eccentric, but incredibly self-aware and kind.

They complement each other perfectly. Kaya balances Demian's impulsiveness with her tenderness. Demian balances Kaya's anxiety with his irony.

Griffin didn't usually beep Amara from work, telling her to come right over when she got out. It must have been important, but Amara also knew Griff. He probably needed a babysitter for a quick moment, something like that - and as Amara entered the house, she smiled, picking up Raelynn. "Hey, baby, how are you? Hi, Torr!" She waved to the little boy and kept Raelynn on her hip. She walked further into the house, looking around for her brother and going over to find Griffin. She put Raelynn down for a moment, to go and play with Torrin and looked over at Griffin's face. "What's up, Griff? You never text me to come right over. You need someone to watch the kids?"

She bit down on her lip, the quiet of the house - something didn't seem strictly right, but she hadn't checked anything all day besides the text from Griffin before her phone died. It had been an incredibly busy day at the ER, no time to look at anything. Amara narrowed her eyes slightly, shrugging.

"Everything okay?"
