I just read an ask with a person telling you off pratically for mentioning height something like that in your story... And that was very disrespectful I feel...

What I mean is that person has a wild sense of entitlement to say that to a writer who's putting work out here for free for everyone's enjoyment. Furthermore, I'm unsure what their goal was but your work is absolutely YOURS I don't see why you need to adhere to everyone's personal preference. I personally, enjoy reading even if the character used doesn't necessarily fit my own features, and if something is weird to the point I can't read it, I simply go on with my day. It is not that hard to do.

Moreover, it wasn't an actual trigger worthy thing to mention, so it was acceptable that you didn't mention it, and even if it was something triggering that you maybe forgot to mention, anon could've spoken a bit better than that so you could responded in a dignified manner where you recognize it was an issue you should fix.

In any case, please accept my own apologies for having to deal with such a person. Perhaps they were having a rough day and height was the one thing that set them off. Who knows, but even if heats of moments it's a true testament to yourself how you react, and if choosing to communicate to another person they should have tried to be respectful at the very least.

Your works are very enjoyable, I read them and find myself fully engrossed, I love the way your imagination works to bring forth these stories to us. Please continue your enchanting writing. <3

hello :] ! firstly, thank u ! i’m very glad u like the big bow i gave him !!

to be perfectly honest with u, most of my designs and their elements don’t have a ton of conscious thought to them … to me, they just Feel Right, if that makes any sense ? it’s pure intuition. i gave kieran a big bow on his hat (u can’t hardly ever see it usually but it’s there) and i thought it would be very cute to have javi match with him :’] and personally, with javier’s sense of style, i do think he would accessorize more if given the circumstance, including things like bows (canonically he usually wears similar items around his neck- we could dare to say a few were originally hairpieces), so i just think it suits him ! so no crazy backstory, but the design i draw him with is post-kieran influence, which means that his bow is much bigger than the one i headcanon he used to wear before kieran gifted him bigger ribbons. i’d draw what pre and post kieran javi designs look like to me but im at work </3

hi, tysm for the ask! while im definitely not the guy to speak for all mspec lesbians, i can definitely try my best to help you :]

mspec lesbians are when a person identifies as a lesbian while simultaneously being attracted to other genders, hence the "multi spectrum" (mspec) part of the term. i myself am a bi lesbian, so im just going to use that as an example, but there are also pan lesbians, omni lesbians, it goes on. (there are also mspec gays, but people dont seem too pressed about them, and im not gay, so i wont speak on them.)

there are a lot of reasons someone could identify as a bi lesbian, like if theyre romantically a lesbian while being bi*sexual*, or a bi person with a preference towards women. personally, while i do think lesbianism inherently includes nonbinary people (speaking *as* a nonbinary lesbian), my attraction to nbs is separate enough to warrant the label for both mine and other nbs' comfort. (also i think some guys are attractive lol). but it does vary from person to person!

as for the history, bi people using lesbian as an umbrella term (much like, for example, a bi guy calling themself gay) since *at least* the 70s.

and as for resources, heres a really helpful carrd i found, as well as just going through the 'mspec lesbian' tag on tumblr has quite a few good posts about the historical usage of the label!

also um. sorry for giving you an entire essay (hyperbole) lol, queer identities and history are a pretty big interest of mine XP
