I never said I didn't enjoy it. I've enjoyed a lot of awful television. The Lone Gunmen spinoff is reminiscent of the final season of Game of Thrones in that it retroactively made worse what came before it. Frohike, Byers and Langley were my favorite recurring TXF side characters throughout the entirety of the show and the whole time, I was so hyped to watch the spinoff and get more details on the trio. What I got instead was a saturday morning cartoon version of the guys that was so underwhelming that it resulted in the spinoff essentially becoming lost media because no one cared enough to preserve it.

The Lone Gunmen deserved better, is what I'm mostly getting at. I'm glad I watched it, I enjoyed it and I've *definitely* watched worse, but it is bad TV.
