Sup, my name's Kalino Pāpa'i. I made this account because I saw my bestie Nephrite posting here, and I wanted to do the same.

I enjoy skating, painting, and collecting new gold accessories to wear. I used to live in the water (im part crab) near Nephrite and their siblings, but now i just chill on land.

I'll sometimes post some artworks on here, maybe respond to an account or two.

Heyo!! I made this account to shed some possible light on my twst oc, who was twisted from Tamatoa.

He comes from Hawaiian heritage and doesn't go to either schools. (cough cough, dropout).

And yes before you ask, his name does mean stuff in Hawaiian.

Kalino, from my research, is supposed to mean "the smart/intelligent one".

Pāpa'i, from my research, is supposed to mean "crab".

So if you put the two together, in relation, should mean "the smart/intelligent crab".

Kalino is mute, and uses sign language (ASL) whenever speaking. His favorite signs to use are "die", "octopus", and "beautiful".

:DISCLAIMER:

Kalino Pāpa'i', of course, isn't accurate to Hawaiian culture and will never be compared to or seen on the same level as it.

This character is simply for me to expand my character creations so that all of my characters aren't white Caucasians.

I can see him Being a diva who only works at the lounge by lending his talents for live show nights. Totes into jazz and swing but also has a surprising knack for Rap and hip-hop. Stingy af. You think Azul tends to offer cut-throat deals, this guy will haggle or take every last penny by force. Pure greedy. His nicer quality is finding beauty in even the most unconventional things just because it caught his eye.

*Quick side note, if you're wondering, "Why are there so many heroic OCs attending the dark schools in your stories?" All of these schools are universities in my writing, and operate like ones in Canada/UK where anyone can attend most programs as long as you have the money and decent grades. Thus, they aren't admitted to the school based on their character matching the school like in the canon. This reflects that.

In addition, a lot of the ladies attending the NRC sister school are more twisted than their canon counterpart while still having their core traits in tact. For example, Aliya (twst Aladdin) is the daughter of the head of the most powerful crime family in the Scalding Sands and is childhood friends with the Tweels thanks to their family ties. Obviously, her mafia princess background hardened her due to seeing some shit in the past, and she's willing to commit questionable acts to obtain her goals. Deep down she's still a good person. She’s the first to offer bread to hungry street children, stand up for those who can’t defend themselves, and use her skills—sometimes even a bit of trickery—to help those in need. The rest of the girls minus TWST Mozenrath are in the same vain.

Although, TWST Lilo is there, because while her original counterpart is a good person, she's rough around the edges and is more like a Studio Ghibli heroine than a typical Disney one. She also is much more willing to do highly questionable acts to achieve her goals (like hotwiring and driving her sister's car in Lilo & Stitch 2) and is willing to get into brawls with people. Putting her into the school for typical Disney Princesses feels wrong. xD

**Another side note, a general hc that I have is that there's a trio of dark magic users based on villain at RSA like how there's a "Light Trio" at NRC in canon. I applied that here as well.

Personality Traits: Zafira is highly self-absorbed, flamboyant, and obsessed with accumulating wealth and beautiful objects. She’s confident and loves being the center of attention, using her charm and wit to manipulate others into giving her what she wants. She has a sharp tongue, often making cutting remarks, and enjoys playing with her enemies before dealing the final blow. However, beneath her glittering exterior, Zafira struggles with the fear of being overlooked, which fuels her obsession with luxury and status.

Unique Magic: “Gleam of Greed”

Zafira’s magic revolves around her ability to summon and control various glittering objects that reflect light, often used to blind or dazzle her opponents. She can create illusions by turning the surroundings into a golden, jewel-encrusted version of reality, distracting and confusing her enemies. The more shiny objects she gathers, the stronger her illusions become, making them harder to break through. These illusions can also entrap her enemies, making them "prisoners" within a realm of riches, unable to focus on anything other than their own desires.

Weaknesses:

Dependence on Shiny Objects: Zafira's power is stronger when she has access to glittering or valuable objects. Without them, her magic becomes weaker.

Distraction: If her own greed is triggered or if she sees something more valuable than what she already possesses, she becomes distracted, making her magic harder to control.

Overuse: The more she uses her power, the more exhausted she becomes, particularly if she’s forced to maintain illusions for too long.

Appearance and Outfit

Physical Appearance: Zafira has long, flowing hair that is a bright shade of teal, echoing Azul's color scheme but more vibrant and eye-catching. Her eyes are a sharp blue color, and her skin is a soft shade of pale, with subtle scales on her shoulders and back, giving her a semi-exotic, almost aquatic look. She is also adorned with various jewel-like accessories, which shimmer like gemstones when she moves.

Octavinelle Uniform Modifications:

Shiny, Gem-Encrusted Details: Zafira’s uniform features intricate patterns resembling scales and pearls along the collar, cuffs, and hem, giving her a more extravagant and opulent look compared to Azul’s simpler attire.

Gold-Leafed Bustier: Instead of the usual plain vest, she wears a corset-style top with gold leaf accents that look like they’ve been crafted from actual precious metal, with gem-encrusted buttons.

Gloves and Shoes: Her gloves are long and gilded with sparkling diamonds and sapphires, extending past her elbows. Her shoes are high-heeled and adorned with gold buckles, reflecting her love for wealth.

An upcoming showcase series....

Hello, it's me again, totally not dead or anything! So remember my first ever post here on Tumblr is my Tamatoa TWST OC? Well, you may be surprised but I do more than just making TWST OCs. As an avid Twisted Wonderland fan and a creative person, I made it my sole mission to find EVERY piece of Disney property and TWST-tify them into the world of TWST, sort of my own sandbox pit if you put it. Why? You may be wondering...Well, it is because this is all done in the comforts of my TWST discord server, dedicated to form our own stories and plotlines that features said TWST creations. That's right, I'm talking about fanmade NRC dorms. (Don't ask how would that be possible lore-wise, but we made it work in the group-) So, to share my various ideas and creations for the beginning of 2025, I'm starting a showcase series where (possibly) everyday, I will upload a post dedicated to the fanmade dorms I have created for the sole purpose of making my own stories for the Discord TWST roleplays, character roster, descriptions, synopsis and so forth. I'll be starting with the Season 1 batch (Yes, I grouped them by seasons like it's a series since there is a ton I can go through), so stay tuned for that!

Ladies and gentlemen and everything else out there, may I introduce you to my twst OC, Naloa Pitaata. 2nd year Pomefiore student based off Tamatoa. He is 6'3 or 192cm, is the head, founder and currently sole member of the Pool Activities Club and is in class A.

This is partially traced and partially freehand, so I won't call it my art. I chose not to pose him and to just do a straight basic front on thing for a variety of reasons including that I can't draw limbs and especially hands, I hadn't finalised the jewellery designs and I wanted to get used to the uniform first.

The hair colours are nauseatingly bright and clashy now I put them into practice but I'm not going to change them. I'm committed to the worst parts of the design lmao.

This is also technically a WIP as I obviously haven't added shading or highlights, but I also haven't added shading or highlights to any of the old Danganronpa ones I said I would so uh...

Not counting yours, which are the TWST ocs you liked the most to write about? And the ones you would like to write about and didn't have the chance for now?

Well, let's stick with OCs I've either written for already or who belong to fairly close personal friends, since for the majority of the former, that's what they are. If I had to choose the two OCs I've liked writing for most, they'd have to be Tock Crockwork from @norman6321ify and Taoka Latronis from @hooter-n-company. The former is based on Tick Tock the Crocodile from "Peter Pan," while the latter is based on Tamatoa from "Moana." While I have some personal gripes with Tock's background (and I will never NOT have those gripes, Norman, if you're reading this; they really do bother me and always have), the actual character I've warmed up to over time more and more, partially because I've written for him more than any of Norman's other characters, and partially because of kinks, I'll confess. XD In contrast, I think Hoots' Taoka fits pretty perfectly in the universe of TW, at least in the way I personally like to handle it, and I had more freedom with his story than with any other OC (that wasn't my own) I've handled so far, for a few reasons. I also want to throw a bone to a couple of OCs who have been brought up on numerous occasions, but never actually properly "handled" by me: one is Gareth Tytla, belonging to @twisted-brainrot, and the other is Harmonia A'Cappella, belonging to @clouddreamer101. Gareth is based on Gustave the Giant from "The Brave Little Tailor," while Harmonia is based on the Golden Harp from "Fun & Fancy Free." They've appeared in a lot of artwork I've posted here, and been the subject of several Asks, and I've discussed both characters with their respective creators on MANY occasions...but aside from a mini-story or description piece here and there, I've never really given them full spotlight. I love both, though, and they're right up there with Tock and Taoka. In terms of OCs I haven't written for AT ALL yet, and really want to...well, I actually don't want to answer that question, for two reasons. First, because I kind of want those creations to be a surprise for my Tumblr friends. XD Second, because I feel it's hard for me to really judge my interest in an OC till I've written for them or discussed them a LOT of times, simply because exposure breeds fascination, if that makes any sense. BUT...for the sake of throwing you all a bone, I'll tell you about two bunches of OCs that are coming up in the future, both created by associates of mine. One: a few OCs based on Lumpjaw, Lulubelle, and Bongo from "Fun & Fancy Free." Two: another trio, based on Professor Ratigan, Fidget, and Felicia from "The Great Mouse Detective." And yes. Both introductions shall involve "the noms." XD
