I wanted an imagine Jasper x reader x Alice where the reader was Victoria's sister and when they meet at the baseball game Alice and Jasper feel the connection with her so when James tries to attack Bella and everyone gets defensive the reader apologizes for them Before going, let's say that the reader recently moved to Forks to "finish high school" and the three of them would have gone to visit there before that happened, but as they didn't get along, the reader decides to leave there, but Alice and Jasper Don't they leave it because they are destined? please

So I (S) wrote this because K is a horrible human and has been procrastinating like a champ.

Either way, I am not entirely sure if I fully understood what you wanted to happen, so I just kind of pulled a bunch of ideas out of my ass in hopes it would come somewhat close.

Tldr: procrastionation makes for author changes, promt was kind of confusing

Y/n has never really been able to make decisions on her own. When she was little her parents would rule over her. And when she was older and worked she had her employer that would tell her what to do, be it with words or abuse. When she and her sisters fled she had them tell her what to do.

And that never really changed. Now, so many years later, she still had one of her sisters, Victoria, tell her what to do. And to a degree she was glad. Making decisions on her own scared her a little, or a lot if she was honest.

Life changed since Victoria turned her when she was just a mere 17 years old. They weren’t alone anymore. Victoria found love in James, a vampire that y/n could only describe as somewhat nice on a good day and downright psychopathic on a not so good day. They also found company in Laurent. She liked Laurent more than James, although she wouldn’t admit it out loud to anyone.

They constantly were on the move, sometimes more nomadic, sometimes a little more settled. Right now it was the latter and they resided in a shabby little hut on the outskirts of a little town called Forks. And with settling down they had to come up with stories that would fit their looks and would grant them some time to stay. Victoria and James were a married couple and both were freelance artists looking for inspiration. Y/n was the little sister in her final year of high school that had to tag along because their parents weren’t really that great. And Laurent? He was some kind of uncle that stayed with them.

They didn’t meet other vampires all that often. Most were hiding from everything and everyone. Some were truly hiding. Some were only hiding in plain sight and would share glances telling them to hurry out of their territory. So it was a surprise when she went to school for the first time and immediately came face to face with several other vampires.

She had told Victoria about the encounter later in the day.

“If they try hurting you, show them hell,” Victoria had told her. “You are a force of nature, remember? You are fast, faster than any of them, I promise you. You have teeth that could tear them apart and you are strong.” Sometimes it was jarring how brutal Victoria could be when she was so caring and soft as a human.

Victoria caressed y/ns cheek softly and smiled gently. “I know you are gentle and hate hurting people. But please promise me that you won’t let them hurt you. I can’t lose another sister. I can’t lose you,” she whispered.

So she went to school and kept her distance. Sure, she could feel their stares and could almost feel how judging they were and how much they wanted her gone, but they left her alone. The uneasiness made her almost go whining to Victoria, begging her to move somewhere else, or become nomadic again.

But it wasn’t until they all went out to scour the area for prey that everything would hit a high in terms of tension. They found the vampires that were also in town on a field as they were playing baseball. And they had a human with them. Y/n found it a little funny how their situations were so different but to someone from the outside it would look like they were mirroring each other. The human being hid behind the vampires, y/n being shielded from the other vampires by Victoria, James and Laurent.

James and Victoria tried to lure information out of the others, make them let them play with them to find their weaknesses. But then they smelled the human. Victoria and Laurent hid it better than James. He decided on that spot that he wanted no one but that human. And y/n couldn’t blame him. The human smelled incredible and it also  almost made her leap at her to devour her.

Y/n tried to silently slip away and just as she thought it worked she heard two of the vampires follow her. She ran. She ran like she had never before as fear began to fill her.

“Leave me alone!” She screamed. They just began running faster and y/n picked up more in pace. “I said leave me alone! I have done nothing!” She screamed again.

She then did the worst mistake of her life. She turned her head to see how close they were. The movement slowed her down enough for the tiny vampire to slam into her and knock her to the ground. Her, what y/n presumed to be, mate quickly caught up to them as well and watched the both of them.

“Get off of me! I will rip you to shreds! I will kill you!” Y/n screeched and flailed around. 

“You wouldn’t do that,” said the small one with a big smile on her face.

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry about my sister and our companions. I don’t know why they did that, please let me go,” Y/n begged, “I can’t die yet. I have to be there for my sister, please, she needs me.”

“We could never kill you.” The older one grabbed the smaller ones shoulder to make her ease off a little.

“I am Alice and this is Jasper,” the smaller one said, “we could never hurt you, y/n. And you could never hurt us.”

“How do you know my name?” Y/n was certain that this is what dying felt like, this uncertainty and confusion.

“I can tell the future. And Jasper is exceptionally empathetic. We figured something out that you haven’t yet, sweetie. We are meant to be. You being here, us being here, this whole mess with your clan, it’s destiny. All of it needed to happen for us to meet. We needed this to find the last puzzle piece. You are our key to eternal happiness, and we are yours, if you let us be.” Alice looked deeply into y/ns eyes and y/n could just tell that she was telling nothing but the truth. And it scared her.

Has anyone figured out the Twilight movieverse timeline? It's way more confusing than it has any right to be.

For starters, Twilight (2008) starts around two months later than when the book begins. (Which is January) And is presumably set in the same year as it's release.

According to the official wiki, James is killed in Spring 2008 (in movie).

Okay, I'm with it so far. First movie takes place in 2008. And the rest follow the timeline of the books, but in 2008/9 instead of 2005/6. Right?... Right?

Bella's 18th birthday will be Sept. 13 2008 instead. But that's on a Saturday. And Bella went to school on her birthday and on the day after.

Wait, doesn't Edward say his age in New Moon? He does!

And we know what year he was turned and how old he was when he became a vampire.

Some quick math. 1918-17=1901. 1901+109=2010.

Wait, does the start of New Moon happen in 2010? Did Twilight happen in 2010?

Let's check Bella's birthday again. September 13 falls on a Monday in the year 2010. So she'd be at school on her birthday and the next day.

Riley's wanted poster in Eclipse (2010) also gives a clue.

Riley's birthday was changed from October 8, 1986 to April 10, 1990 for the movie. According to his missing person poster, Riley was last seen on Friday, May 21, 2010. And Charlie and Riley's parents have been searching for him for over a year. So, Riley must've been turned in to a vampire in 2009? And in the book timeline, Victoria changed Riley around a month after James's death. Is that the same for the movie? That would mean the Twilight movie, and the beginning of New Moon, takes place in 2009. But that math doesn't math with Edward's age. And doesn't fit Bella's birthday.

If the date that Riley was last scene coincides with the date Victoria bit him, then that works with the idea of Twilight happening in 2010. Riley would have been turned in May 2010 and James would've been killed in April. Bella's 18th birthday would fall on Monday, September 13, 2010. Then most of the rest of New Moon would happen in 2011. As would Eclipse and the Breaking Dawn movies. Which works out with the date printed on the wedding invitations.

But back it up to Eclipse for a minute. Rosalie's newspaper, the one she reads as Carlisle wraps Bella's hand/wrist. It's Friday, June 18, 2010.

This newspaper sets Eclipse in 2010. So the wedding invitations should have been dated 2010. Or the newspaper should be dated Saturday, June 18, 2011.

The movieverse timeline is pretty unclear, but I think there's enough to support that they mainly take place in 2010 and 2011.

°You would have actually moved on through a small insignificant town somewhere in the north of America. They would have sought out their victims and left a frightened population behind. If james hadn't caught that particular scent it would have put the hunter in a joyous mood, laurent would have been almost dazed by the smell of blood running and Victoria couldn't stop her curiosity.

°It was easy for the three of them to seek you out with the help of James, a young woman, a human in her prime, but even if it was inconspicuous, there was no choice it came from you. Your blood, your body, your everything was so attractive that the three of them had to be careful not to rush into the flower store on the holy day.

°She waited when the sun went down and your shift seemed to end, waiting in one of the alleys. She was sure that you had to pass there, but like a miracle, like something pulling you, you went another way. ,,Oh the sweetie is avoiding us the chase will be short but interesting" James murmured and began to follow her down the streets his two dung riders always behind him ready to charge.

°In fact, the human woman didn't realize she was being chased. It was something else, as if a tingling in her fingers was showing her the best route to take. A strange feeling that she had only rarely felt until she dared to turn around, even though everything in her wanted to keep walking. A mistake. Because once the prey stops, it's the hunter's turn.

°James stepped out of the darkness and looked at his prey, his victim, with an amused grin. "The new member of our club," he amused himself, watching Laurent soak up the scent that came from her. The black-haired man reached out for her, but victoria was quicker to close her cold fingers around her victim. ,,What do you want? Let me go," his prey demanded, a mouse squeak unnecessary to the wolf. ,,Oh, but we haven't done anything yet," Laurent said and his hand went to her cheek, her warmth making him smile.

°Victoria put her lips to the younger girl's neck and the red hair tickled her skin, making the cute mouse twitch. You have no idea how desirable you are to all of us," the blonde commented, bringing his hand to her wrist. It only took a little pressure to almost break her skin the pleading and begging became stronger. ,,Do it at last... a taste," demanded Laurent who, like the other two, knew the bite would ruin her. ,,Thank you little mouse, thank you that we like you," Victoria chided and gave her victim a cold kiss on the neck, her teeth raking over the skin as a threat not to bite.

°It would be when James gave her the cut her scream echoed through the dark alleys of the city that she gradually realized what the three of them were. That she was the perfect victim for them in every way. For James, she was the prey that could run away from him, unpredictable for him. Laurent appreciated her blood almost more than she did, staying with her for hours just to watch her wait for the next drop. Victoria wanted to see how she behaved the curiosity and jealousy made her spend more and more time with her, ,,Girls among themselves" she had once said to her frightened prey for fun.

°But since the meeting in the city she was the human of the group something that didn't fit but the three of them had her not only as property it was the biggest fun and the biggest obsession they all had for hundreds of years. ,,I help somebody!" she screamed through the forest as she ran away, unaware that the three were playing with her. She was being used to lure other vampires and humans so the three could have their fun.

°,,You'll never learn...you stupid prey," James quipped as he came out from behind a tree and struck the hunter who had gotten close to her with a precise blow. The man's blood splattered on the colorful leaves, on him Laurent and Victoria and landed on his prey. ,,No-no, why won't you let me go?" she asked desperately, feeling the tingle screaming at her to run away. the three of them kept talking about an ability, but she didn't understand any of it, she didn't even understand the love they felt for her.

°,,A beauty must be preserved, don't worry about all that," Laurent countered, feeling his hand on her cheek again as he ran it almost tentatively over her skin. James did what he did every day, as often as he could without exhausting his victim. the three of them cut her again and her pleas went under once more. They were still gentle, as they kept telling her, even if she found it hard to believe. Gentle was something the three no longer knew in their dead shells, she thought.

°Until they moved on again and the three were once too arrogant and came across another coven twice the size of James's. The three tried everything to defend themselves in the fight, but their prey, their beloved, disappeared. Taken by one of the vampires, something the three realized when it was almost too late. The three gave it their all and with the help of James in a backstabbing by Victoria they lured one after another and Laurent killed them. Before they found her badly injured but still alive something she never thought she would see the three so worried about.

°Victoria was the first wah to pull herself together and kneel down carefully, her red eyes running over the wounds. ,,Oh little mouse my curious naive little mouse...what are we going to do with you?" she asked as if she didn't know the answer herself. Laurent helped her up, his hands once gentle and not greedily waiting for the blood. She saw real concern in his gaze, his red eyes not showing hunger for once. ,,No more blood for us, let's give you something else, something more gentel" Laurent murmured and she heard James sigh. The blond weighed up the decision.

°They could have taken their prey to a hospital, there would have been enough time, but then what? They didn't officially exist, she had been reported missing for months, it would cause too much trouble. ,,Three kisses of death...enjoy it because then the hunt is for eternity," he finally said, putting his teeth on her wrist, Victoria's teeth on her neck and Laurent's on her arm. The three of them bit down, the venom flowing into their bodies, the scream echoing through the forest as the three of them held her gently for the first time.

°When the transformation was over, she held her gaze, still slack-jawed before drifting off into the darkness only to wake up among the three. To her surprise, a fire was the first thing she noticed. The fire it's not warm but it will help" she heard Victoria's voice, not amused but understanding. For the first time she perceived the world as the three of them did. She finally felt this "ability" the three of them were talking about.

°She started to run, the tingling sensation trying to guide her away again. Unaware that the three of them could now take their fun to infinity. "Faster than expected," Laurent murmured, rising from the tree stump while James searched for her scent, "You were right, she's the perfect prey," he said, turning to the redhead, who tousled her red curls.  "I know, now she just has to realize it too," Victoria replied and the three of them set off after her, running alongside James. In the end, they had made her theirs, expanded the coven and had a hunt that would eventually lead to her heart, all three were sure of it.

Hybrids have an ability called scent shifting. They can manipulate their bodily scent at will. Their neutral scent is a balanced blend of vampire and human, but they can shift their scent back and forth.

Bella used this ability a lot growing up to make herself smell like a vampire. It was useful whenever she came across other vampires. They would catch her scent first and either leave to avoid another vampire's territory. Or they would investigate further and hear her heartbeat. Which would confuse the fuck out of them. Giving Bella the chance to either run or incapacitate the vampire if needed.

While living in Forks, Bella shifted her scent to smell like a human. This allowed her to blend in further. As her scent mingled with the population of Forks it made it a bit harder for James to find her. Mostly because when they first crossed paths, James was exposed to her vampire scent. By shifting to her human scent, Bella can hide from him.

Hey guys, so when I made this post, I was extremely frustrated and annoyed. Now that I’m way more mellowed out and had the chance to read a lot of reactions and responses, let me act my age and actually clarify some things.

First, I want to apologize to those who were deeply upset by my post. My post overall was towards those who claim they don’t write for a specific audience, and yet put specific descriptions in their work. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with adding certain details to your reader, such as gender or body type. The issue comes in when you don’t properly title and tag it as so, or completely ignore it altogether.

If you see my post as an eye opener and want to change up your work, then you have every right to do so, but please do not think that this is an attack or jive directed at you. It’s just that some of us readers want exactly as promised. Like for example, imagine if someone asked if you wanted some fresh fruit they grew themselves. You agree, and when they show up, instead of handing you fruit, they give you a carton of eggs. Now, you might not mind eating eggs, but you were promised fresh fruit, not eggs.

I know some writers have said that they want to be more inclusive in response to my criticism. If that is what you truly want, then by all means, but I cannot stress enough: write what YOU want to write. Do not feel as though you’re being pressured to change what you put out; it’s just a means of how you categorize it.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to read, respond, and engage with my original post. I truly appreciate the perspectives shared, they’ve helped me see things more clearly and refine my thoughts.
