recently was on tiktok, post asked "what is smtn you don't like that's happening in the lgbtq community. like bullying etc" and EVERY second comment said "lesboys" or he/him lesbians. One comment alone saying lesboys got 17k likes.

I'm not sure if I consider myself lesboy or not but I'm gender diverse & probably lesbian, so it really sucked to see how so many lesbians in the community hate people like me :( It feels like it's impossible to be in spaces with cis people sometimes because they only will see someone with he in their pronouns as "stealing" lesbian identity

the fact that people were asked what's something they hate about the queer community and half of the comments went to complain about lesbians (especially butch and trans) doing anything just shows where their priorities are. it's always the lesbians with these people

Me when I’m definitely normal about transmasc lesbians and bigender people. They said in the tags this is talking about “transandrophobia truthers” specifically.

I can't stand masculine women. I am transmasc and I try a lot to be percieved as a man but I am only seen as a tomboy only because some girlies think being its fun to dress like a guy.

I understand where you're coming from, and I'll presume this isn't bait, but: your anger is misplaced, and the way you are expressing it is only hurting women, and it will not make transphobes have a change of heart.

It isn't appropriate to hate an entire group of people because other people are transphobic. As a trans man, transphobes don't hate me because there are butch women, they hate me because I'm a trans man (and, let's face it, butch and GNC women are in the same boat. Transphobes are often just as hateful toward GNC/butch women). Transphobes don't care what you are if they know you are deviant. They will never respect a butch or transmasc because transness and GNC inherently go against their worldview.

I'm sorry, anon, that people are transphobic, I really am. But misogyny isn't going to fix the issue. If GNC women didn't exist, you would still have the same issue because transphobia is the problem, not GNC women.

I really hope you can build connection with GNC people because it really shows you a whole lot. I've found a ton of GNC women who are on my side and recognize my maleness and celebrate it with me. Gender deviants tend to get where trans people are coming from, because society treats them just as shitty. Do not let misogyny go unchecked because society is transphobic.

quarantine has made me come face to face with the fact that i relate so little with other lesbians. i log onto tiktok and the butches are all white and calling themselves studs. theyre joking about banging straight girls. after blocking them i inhale and refresh to see a femme who looks cute and sweet, i excitedly watch a video to see her say “not all lesbians are such stereotypes! some of us are actually attractive and like to dress nice!”. the next video is more innocent but still generalizing of this experience im not having - “what lesbian doesnt wear fun dangly earrings and listen to hozier and [uncritically] post about cottagecore?” ME!!!
