I hope you know that I read your post before I liked it; I didn't just tap on a button. I am here, and I was listening. I hope you know that this is my way of saying "someone is sitting beside you. and they are waiting for you to finish rambling. this is my way of being your virtual company when you need a shoulder to scream on."
I hope that you know you will always have someone to respond to your anon ask posts, I hope you know that I will always be available to tell you why I follow you or how wonderful your blog makes me feel or if your face looks like a raccoon. I hope you know that I will reblog your fics and your fanart and that even though I'm not used to jumping into DMS, I would do so for you in a heartbeat. I hope you know that I read the strange little dash games and rps you post.
I hope that you know sometimes liking your rant posts is not enough for me. I want to send you a virtual hug. Why does Tumblr not have a virtual hug function? I want to say that "I'm here, I'm listening, I heard about your bad day. Life is crummy sometimes." but I don't wanna make you feel awkward, I don't want you to have to type out a long reply after considering fifty things to say to me. I want the wordless hug.
I hope you know that you are loved; for your blog; for your fan stuff; for your whole quirky little personality. I hope you know that I would write stories about you. I hope you know that you are just as fascinating as the characters you write or draw. Self-inserts are not cringe. I love your OCS, unless they godmode. I hope you know that I like to wonder what you would be like in the fandoms you love as a character. You're just that interesting.
I hope you know that just because I said all of this, that's not what made it true. You were already loved before me; loved and all I did was make this post to tell you that there is love.
I hope you know that there is love.
Look behind you.

Lately on my dash, I have been seeing lots of wonderful mutuals get too hard on their beautiful minds.
Lovelies, your stories and art are beautiful because they are from you, and FOR you. Stats do not determine the quality of a product. Again, some of the BEST stories on the archive I have ever read were around 100 hits, and 0-10 kudos. Some of the BEST ART I’ve seen has 0 notes.
You know how I can tell? Because the authors and artists poured their heart and soul into their craft. As long as it can inspire ONE person, you should be proud. You just radically changed the life and perspective of ONE person. That’s amazing.
Sure, you might think your art or story is “cringe” or “bad”…OR, it can be someone’s comfort piece that they go back to after a long day. You may see your stats and think, “man, nobody enjoys this,” not knowing that maybe, juuuust maybe, you have that ONE person who you’ve inspired, who loves your work, and lurks your socials awaiting for your next project. Your art, your music, YOUR story has the potential to do that, but you have to love what YOU do.
And yes, your love WILL show. Maybe not with stats, or kudos, or notes, or comments. But you may be someone’s favorite without even knowing. As long as your art is out there, it WILL reach somebody. I will try to be that somebody for a lot of you, but there is indeed A LOT of you.
In a world where media is being “consumed” for “content,” remember that ART comes from the heART (sorry not sorry for being cheesy). Artists, Writers, Poets, Musicians, Sculptors, HUMANS: Get your hearts out there for the world to see. The world needs more motivated minds. 💫

You deserve a healthy love with someone who hears you, sees you, understands you, appreciates you, supports you, and loves you. Someone who is patient, communicates clearly, and creates a calm safe space to heal, grow, and bloom together. A love you don't have to heal from.

i think some get angry at transmascs for discussing our oppressiin because they view invisibility as a privilege rather than a way in which we are oppressed
when their view of invisibility as a privilege is challenged, they lash out and say that we want to be oppressed soooo bad and that we need to shut up
and of course, if we do shut up then nothing changes. we remain invisible and nobody sees us. or talks about us. or cares about us
