(Part of) a Pathfinder battle map I made for my campaign went like this. Though I'm not much of a storyteller, I've been taking inspiration from a campaign book that emphasizes giving variety in skill checks.

With this modular caves battlemap pack you can start design your own caves for your party to go through! Does your heart desire twisting, winding halls? Do you desire a giant eagle nest hidden in a mountain cliff, or even a huge river filled with blood running through the ancient burial site of a dwarven king? Fey Tavern

Tucked away in a wild forest is this enchanting tavern, a place where the senses are energized and the body is nourished.

This tavern is ran exclusively by Fey creatures, who delight in meeting new guests and treating them with delicious food, hot steamy baths, and warm beds, all free of charge.

However, there is a catch. Once someone enters this tavern…they don’t feel like leaving.

I wanted to make a large, sweeping, double-sized landscape map and take a shot at giving trees a real sense of height and depth, so I put together some new assets and tried to create a frontier-style alpine rocky wilderness type of map. I'm quite pleased with it overall, and hope it presents an interesting locale for your next outdoor encounter!

Dead God

Where do gods go when they die? A complex question with deep philosophical and theological implications, but in your setting of choice, perhaps one with a very simple answer. It could be a place, out of time and space, where decaying deific forms wither and rot, forgotten by all and no longer sustained by the power of belief. What manner of treasure, knowledge, or power might be found within such a long dead husk, and what bizarre and alien creatures might make their lair within one? That’s for you to decide, as you dazzle your players with these three maps, all animated, featuring an external and internal view of a massive humanoid carcass floating in a sea of stars. A giant, a god, or maybe just a regular-sized corpse visited by really tiny PCs?! A Fantastic Voyage into Innerspace awaits!

ONCE AGAIN I AM POSTING LANCER BATTLEMAPS!!!!

One that my players did, and two more alternate scenarios they could have done!

First up, we have a map taking place on an alien ranch on a lake shore- the water is corrosive, and they're scrambling against the enemies to collect alien eggs to keep them from getting RUSTLED.

Next up we have a three faction fight where all factions are racing to the center of the map to gain control of a central payload so they can return it to their deployment zone! There's numerous NPCs, but they're fighting the players and each other which balances things.

And finally...

A race, where the PCs and NPCs have to complete a circuit around a trap-laden, mad max esque racetrack while touching each checkpoint to win! I had to compress these to upload them to tumblr, so just dm me if you want the uncompressed versions.

Mission 1: The Drop

The first battle of the mission for my No Room for Rain campaign, a LL1-LL8/9 combo of Solstice Rain and Wallflower from Lancer.

Featuring explosives, my favourite. The map's designed to be a holdout, but with the layout I'm sure one can play it as any other sitrep as well.

Gave my players a ton of plot hooks with political stuff and cultists and missing persons and strange inheritances and travel to other worlds, and what do they want to pursue next session?

The off-hand joke I made about that fancy treasure chest sitting in the middle of a Totally Normal Cave with all the stalactites and stalagmites at the entrance.

It's not that they didn't get the joke, either. They fully understand I was describing a gigantic mouth with obvious fake treasure as a lure. They just think it would be really funny. So uh. What do I do here?

Poll has to be only one day because the game is on Friday and Tumblr won't let me pick some other number of days, so hopefully I get enough votes to come to a decision.
