RIP plum tree app, you were a true goat

Not sure how many Simmers know this, but the Plum Tree App (family tree maker for Sims) is shutting down :(

(Note: many people reported having issues downloading their tree)

I don't know if the creator has a tumblr, but I want him to know how much the app has been helpful to me and so many others. I'm so glad he's starting a new chapter in life and wish his growing family the best💗

The Plum Tree App is shutting down.

To any of you who are using Plum Tree App to keep track of generations of their sim families, you should back up your files now. It won't shut down yet as said above, as we will be given enough time to back up our trees.

I'm currently looking for alternatives, I've seen Famiy Echo (free) and Kintree (also free, but UI friendly, very simple), and another which is My Family Tree (an offline program for Windows).

Guys I've been thinking about making family trees to everyone that might not know how to make them themselfs. Would you guys been interested?

It would have to be next month thou, I'm still waiting for my new hard drive to arrive (brazilian mail service suuuuucks) and I'm not 100% sure if my monitor is still usable (long story, don't ask)

Redwood Family Tree

I was asked the other day if there was a family tree with all the characters in the Pride Flag Legacy Challenge. I’ve always had mixes with dates and everything from the beginning, plus family relationships between them. This is why I decided to create the ultimate familair tree and show it with you <3

The Redwood tree comes from the parents of the founder of the challenge: Rosemary Redwood and her husband Cristobal Clermont. 

The sons of Cristobal and Rosemary did not adopt the paternal surname because the legacy of the challenge is Redwood. 

From here they intertwine with the Cushing, Barrow and Boneville families, spanning approximately 50 years of family history.

I hate updating the family tree, but it's done now. And I'm going to avoid updating it again for a very long time 🙈

I just discovered "The Plum Tree" or maybe I'm a bit late ajsdhjfh. Anyways, I love it, I can finally create my sims legacy tree with their own descriptions without limitations, this is something I really missed from TS2 and TS3, I love creating stories about my sims life and updating how it's going.

It's still a work in progress but I love it.

The complete Lombardo Family Tree as of 1985, as well as a simplified version with only the direct descendants of the heirs included.

so i play the sims 4 and i'm finally creating the family trees for my "legacy" families. this tree was created wayyy after the founders died, so only here's their children and their families.

Wu Legacy Family Tree 🎈

I’ve decided to make a family tree for my 100 Baby Challenge family. I thought what better way to do it than to use the Plum Tree App. I’ve thought about doing it myself on Illustrator but I’m just too lazy.

Got the Davis Legacy family tree up! I started playing them before the Saucedos, but the first few weeks I played on long life span and then eventually switched to normal, so it isn't as far along as the Saucedo fam (play them on short life span).

I always post about them under the Charming Legacy tag on my blog.

This literally took me hours but the amount of satisfaction of getting as much info on there as I could was so worth it!! (including all the pets)
