Here are three Plutonium / Uranium Rod add-ons (require NightLife EP) and a few column recolors. Round neon fits Simply Round columns, Open For Business EP. Wave neons match the shape of Romanesque Connecting Column arches by @hugelunatic /and also non-recolourable 1-storey Romanesque arches from Uni EP/.

what they look like without shaders

list of fishing boats I've converted:

irma - green hull, white wheelhouse diane - blue hull, pale yellow wheelhouse lilith - dark brown hull, red wheelhouse maude - entirely yellow mamie - brown hull, yellow wheelhouse kynda - yellow hull, white wheelhouse coral - entirely in teal (nameless in my files, sorry!)

notes:

the darker boats might look a bit pixelated (lilith with her dark red wheelhouse for example), but the white/pale wheelhouses all look pretty good.

the fishing boats might go invisible from far away on lots specifically, the ones i put down in caw are visible no matter the distance. to put them down on lots, turn on moveobjects and give them a small underwater mountain to sit on, so they don't turn into sunken fishing boats.

please let me know if you experience any other issues.

for some of the boats i wrote in fun facts about old sailor's superstitions in the description. they're old, but we certainly abide by these superstitious rules on my ship still. good thing i don't even know how to whistle.

Switchable Switch with Animations for The Sims 2

As written in the last post, I used the Unswitchable Switch converted by Simsinlowspace to make a functional switch that can be used by your sims to turn on/off the room lights. They won't turn on/off immediately like the usual functional switches do, but the choosen sim will go in front of it to actually press the switch and it will move up or down as you can see here:

The switch is shiftable but I also added a second version if you don't have Apartment Life EP (choose one). It won't disappear when walls are invisible. It has a new Guid so you can have both the deco version and mine in your game.

20th Anniversary Gift for The Sims 2 from The Sims Console and The Sims Bustin' Out

Happy 20th anniversary to The Sims 2! I absolutely love The Sims 2 and how this game was treated. Every platform for it provides different, unique gameplay and lore. Out of all the PC versions, this is the one I tend to gravitate towards. There's just something about it. So here's a gift to celebrate it! This gift consists of 9 conversions (+ an extra of the Torchemada Wall Torch to include a flipped version) from The Sims console and The Sims Bustin' Out. This was heavily inspired by the master bedroom at the Goth Manor location, also in spirit of Halloween coming up! Please let me know if there’s any issues!

Kauri Living - 4t2 Conversion of Kiwisim4's Living Room Set

Whew! 😅 This was a scenic trip on the struggle bus for sure, but here it is! Details & download below.

This was supposed to be a quick project, but...well, you know how it goes. After much headdesking, here's a 4t2 conversion of @kiwisim4's gorgeous Kauri Living. I love the midcentury modern vibes and the cheerful colors and patterns. It's one of the larger downloads on this simblr (file size-wise), but I think it's worth it. 💜

TS1t2 Fut-tronic Bubble Window & TS1t2 Mica Tube Lamp

I really need to stop getting distracted by new projects. I have so many unfinished WIPs and my folders are looking messy. Anyway, here's my newest distraction: recreating some Sims 1 content. The windows are technically a 3t2 conversion, with an extra window added on so it matches up with the Sims 1 version better. It has both a straight and diagonal state. I took way longer than I should've making it because I tried to make all 5 windows their own individual subset in vain, because I later learned that the game only allows 2 subsets per objects (so in case you can't tell, this window is only available in one subset). The tube lamp has both a lit and unlit state. I've literally never made objects before, so please let me know if there are any issues with these so I can fix them. Thank you and enjoy!

BB Candid Candles - warm light mesh edits

Archive contains my small recolor pack - two brass shades and black & white candles. ❕ You'll need Standard Material Shader Edit by @crispsandkerosene to enable the texture glow effect, as I've used additive maps for candle recolors - and also added it to BB's original worn white candle texture. Be aware that CandK's shader edit clashes with other shader edits.

Original recolors for candid candle set by BuggyBooz (repositoried edit by Shasta) are available here (SFS).

So far Crispsandkerosene has shared two versions of their extended standard material shader edit, one includes bright CAS fix by LD, the other does not. Current versions conflict with Dreadpirate's shader edits - but CandK might share merged version at some point.

Pics above on the left: my white / black recolor without Standard Material shader edit. Pics on the right: shader edit present, additive maps work.

I've added additive maps to edited meshes - BB_CandidCandles_chandelier and BB_CandidCandles_3candlesticks. When you recolor these (candle subset), texture glow effect will be applied to new recolors.
