Today is a big day: I am sharing my first world – “Simynthos” – with all of you! I’m very nervous about it, actually. It’s the first world I ever finished!

So what kind of world is it? It's inspiration, the island of Corfu, is one of the more northern islands of Greece. It is greener than the southern islands, and the architectural style is a bit different. It has surprisingly high mountains and cute little villages with tiny orange houses and narrow roads and pathways. It has olive groves with trees more than a thousand years old, and it has beaches with some of the clearest water I ever swam in. I tried to capture Corfu's atmosphere in this little world, so that my simmies may enjoy it, too! And now I hope, your simmies will enjoy it as well :)

To make it a “quick” project (still took more than a year, though 😬) I used the existing world “Sa Pineda” by the amazing @nilxis as a base. The island itself was not created by me, I only created the houses/lots and made over the vegetation.

Even though it is on a tiny map, it is a full world with several houses. It has almost all rabbit holes, and a lot for your sims to do – well, at least considering the sizes of the place. It can be a home world as well as a vacation world with Nraas Traveler mod (can be found here).

Other than my previous builds it does contain some CC. Most of it comes with the download, but not all (you will find all links to additional CC below).

If you would like a (almost) CC-free version, please message me! I will gladly try to make it look good without CC, if I know that someone wants that! However, you will always need the rabbit hole rugs if you want the rabbit holes! But I could remove all decorative CC and try to decorate with non-cc items.

I had a lot of fun building on this little island. I also learned a lot and I hope to use all the experience I gathered from this first completed project for my next world!

contains most rabbit holes. The ferry provides room for additional rabbit hole rugs in case you want to place some that are not included.

Packs used: I have all expansion packs and all stuff packs installed, and have probably used items from almost all of them.

Packs you will definitely need for full functionality: Island Paradise (for the Dive Lots, the Ferry, and the All-in-One Bathrooms), Late Night for the Bars, Supernatural for the Elixir Shop, World Adventures for the Nectar Maker and the Nectar Racks, University Life for the Coffee Bar, and Ambitions for the Salon and Tattoo Studio, Showtime for the Karaoke Machine, on one lot I used the grill from Outdoor Living Stuff.

I used a lot of furniture from the Seasons and the Pets expansions. This is non-functional, but the world will look different if you do not have these expansion.

A word of warning (please read this!):

This world is TINY! But for its size I packed A LOT into it. This means, however, that lots and buildings are on the small to tiny side. So not all game options may be available on all lots.

The Weather-Stone may not spawn due to lack of a suitable location.

There is some kelp visible from map view next to one of the dive lots. I could not find a way to remove it, unfortunately, although I tried everything I could think of. If it bothers you the workaround is this: Go into edit town, select build on the dive lot. Without doing anything leave build mode and leave edit town. Now the kelp should not be visible anymore for this in-game-session. You will have to do it over again the next time you start up your save, though.

The proximity to community lots will mean that you can hear the noise from concerts, movies and sports events or even just music very loudly on some residential lots. I recommend you turn down the volume of music and effects in the game options to around ¼ of the bar. You will still hear the sounds on the residential lots, but not as loudly. Update: Follow these instructions to mute rabbit hole sounds if they bother you!

I advise against playing with horses on Simynthos due to the limited space and the lag they can cause. See recommended mods section below for more details.

Snow may look black in some places, mostly on or near the paths due to me having to paint under the walkways I placed. Sa Pineda already came with 8 terrain paints. I decided not to change the terrain paint, as it was very nicely done by the creator, and also snow is probably a rare occurrence on Corfu. If you want to, you can just disable snow/winter in the options.

Highly recommended mods for performance and functionality:

TheSweetSimmer’s Pick Up Toddler Fix: If you want to play with families you will absolutely need this mod! Without it you may not be able to pick up toddlers at all due to the limited space inside some of the houses.

OhRudi’s space saving mods: I recommend all of ohRudi’s space saving mods for this world:

“Fix: Pets need less space”

“Fix: Sims need less space”

“Fix: Guitar needs less space for playing”

“Fix: Bass needs less space for playing”

Nraas Register: Horses will cause lag on Simynthos due to the limited space on the island and the extensive space that horses need for routing (even with ohRudi’s mod), so I recommend disabling horses in the game options and using nraas Register mod to deactivate wild horses completely.

Nraas Debug Enabler: The dive lots on Simynthos have the same problem that all dive lots seem to have: If you want to explore the caves, you will need to reset them first. If you forget your sim will be reset to the beach. Best way to do this is using Nraas “Debug Enabler” mod (click on cave > Nraas > Debug Enabler > Options: Name of Cave > Object > Reset).

Nraas Go Here: I generally recommend Nraas Go Here mods “Teleport for everyone” option, just in case a sim or a pet gets stuck somewhere.

Other recommended mods (optional):

You can have functioning Greek restaurants on Simynthos if you use these two mods together:

icarus_allsorts’s “Eat Outside Restaurants”

Cinderellimouse’s “Cooking and Ingredients Overhaul”

Both mods combined will allow you to set the menu for the diner or bistro rabbit hole to Greek dishes (or any other dishes you prefer) and order these dishes from a waiter on the lot. How cool is that?!

Some of you may know, that I am not the first to make a Greek version of Sa Pineda. Back in 2016 Vendela created Simtorini. This super cute world has the typical blue and white houses another Greek island, Santorini, is famous for. Go check it out here.

irma - green hull, white wheelhouse diane - blue hull, pale yellow wheelhouse lilith - dark brown hull, red wheelhouse maude - entirely yellow mamie - brown hull, yellow wheelhouse kynda - yellow hull, white wheelhouse coral - entirely in teal (nameless in my files, sorry!)

notes:

the darker boats might look a bit pixelated (lilith with her dark red wheelhouse for example), but the white/pale wheelhouses all look pretty good.

the fishing boats might go invisible from far away on lots specifically, the ones i put down in caw are visible no matter the distance. to put them down on lots, turn on moveobjects and give them a small underwater mountain to sit on, so they don't turn into sunken fishing boats.

please let me know if you experience any other issues.

for some of the boats i wrote in fun facts about old sailor's superstitions in the description. they're old, but we certainly abide by these superstitious rules on my ship still. good thing i don't even know how to whistle.

"Ostbrück is a city full of history. Rich History. A total gorgeous lake, beautiful old buildings, some even leading back to medieval times. And let's not forget the mighty castle "Schloss Eisenhut" which is the citys' superstar. Ostbrück has been exisiting for a long time now and it's still shining bright to this day with many young and ambitious sims coming to this town to fullfill their lives. Oh yeah almost forgot! It's not the cheapest city!"

ITS HEREEE! After months of hard work I finally managed to create my own European world called "Ostbrück am Schwansee"! Dive into a beautiful, semi-realistic European world with dozens of historical buildings, a castle, a lake and lots of pedestrian areas. All built by me!

It's a small world with 53 lots, housing 62 Sims and features most of the rabbitholes + an university. I invested a lot of time in fixing issues, routing and so on so the world runs even with a lot of CC totally fantastic! Please please please tag me if you post screenshots when playing it! I would love to see!

I used all expansion packs. And you can find every base game spawner.

How to install, populated save file and required CC is all included in the download. A huge thank you to all the amazing CC creators out here, without your creations this world wouldn't have been possible. Please make sure to check them out and support them. There is a creditlist and links in the download!!!

I will keep all my creations for Sims 3 for obvious reasons for free, however creating worlds is a time consuming and sometimes harsh process with the buggyness of the game sometimes, so it would mean the world for me for some extra support :)!

It's time to get nostalgic.

With this update of my Sims (2000) world, you can revisit every lot and every household from the Sims 1 in an open world experience in the Sims 3! This addition adds the Magic Town and Vacation Island area's, making this a complete Sims 1 world, that includes every Sims 1 neighborhood.

I apologize for the long delay in releases this update for this Sims 3 world. My real life has gotten very hectic, so it's been hard to make time for this project. I hope it was worth the wait and that you'll enjoy reliving the Sims 1 in this Sims 3 world.

This world was made with every Sims 3 expansion pack (except for Into The Future), in addition the the High End Loft and Town Life stuff packs. You can install the world even if you do not own all of these packs. But the save file (which includes all of the premade sims, ghosts and some fixes) can only be played if you have all of these packs installed.

To everyone who has installed and played the previous version of my Sims (2000) world: to install this version, you'll need to uninstall the old one. If you have an active save file with the previous (1st) version of this world, please backup any households and builds you want to save to your library. Because that save file will probably become unplayable after installing the updated world file.

I have one little request… If you know any other long time simmers, please share this project with them. I would love it if as many people as possible get a chance to enjoy this nostalgic experience <3

Also, if you enjoy setting up high quality screenshots, I'd love to see them and use them to promote this world.

CHAMPIGNAC : A NEW SIMS 3 WORLD

Champignac is a fully living Frenchy suburbia World based on Champs-les-Sims and has nothing to do with a vacation place ... Well, nothing is not really the right word ;)

Back in 2016/2017, when we began to think how we could remade Champs-les-Sims, we didn't know really what kind of world we wanted to do. We named the project : Sims de Nimes. Then, because we were on other projects ( such as sims 4 k-mods ) we left Sims de Nimes somewhere in the pipes.

We made Oaksoak Hollow ( based on Mystic Falls ), we made Eureka Valley ( a world between tech and classic life ) and we left behind the Sims 4 because, well ... too long to explain. :D

So, it was time to get out of the box our old project of Sims de Nimes ... During this time, some talented creators re-made Champs-les-Sims with their own vision, more oldy or more city life like, or more like Sunset Valley ... All those versions are interesting, but we wanted something else. And so, is born Champignac !

If Champignac is a true living suburbia world, it is too a quite rural world, almost a village with :

37 Community Lots

36 Residential Lots

10 Medieval Towers all around the town :)

In addition, it remains few Empty Lots, differently sized to suit whatever you wish ... So, let's say Champignac is a french-not-so-little-town where life is slowly flowing and dynamic at the same time, perfect for families and Sims looking for a different lifestyle :)

A typical downtown and outskirts, full of old buildings and southern architecture, a joyful mix between south-east and south-west housing, with a touch of something more northener ( but don't tell the citizens; it's a sure way to be frowned upon ) ... After all they worked hard to keep Champignac as it is!

People living in Champignac are quite glad of it. Sure, teenagers dream of foreign lands, but they are not too eager to leave.

Once, the townies of Champignac were grumpy because Champs-les-Sims was so more popular than their hometown ... After all, everybody went to Champs-les-Sims, stayed there, made nectar, drove a Kenspa, flirted with locals, or … anyway! Tourists had a full experience in Champs-Les-Sims and weren't interested in visiting any other city. Champignac, the official twin city, didn't benefit from any international exchanges, and was left anonymous, far from fame and glory. As unreachable as the Eiffel Tower seen from Champignac ... until ...

In February 29th of a certain year, a distant descendant of Marquis de Landgraab lost his way on the road to Champs-les-Sims and landed in Champignac. Instantly, he fell in love with the town.

He saw an always growing vegetation, a Monastery full of secrets, the familial beach ( yes, there is a beach in Champignac ), the forgotten obelisk, the shop keepers full of stories, the well preserved houses, the green fields and the paved streets, the true Café Catane and a remaining wild fauna running here and there ... He saw perfection !

For a time, the townies of Champignac experienced fame and glory. But how exhausting it was! Tourists not really caring about the legacy of the kiosk owner, the monks overwhelmed, the museum director who couldn't find enough teenagers to help ... Even the fishes were exhausted! Hard times indeed ... Happily, this descendant of Marquis de Landgraab met someone, somewhere, and moved out, far far away from Champignac. Celebrities said their last goodbyes and slowly, life, as it should be, was back :) The townies and City Council learned from that experience that they very much preferred not to be as famous as Champs-les-Sims ...

Life in Champignac was relatively calm again when suddenly, a global health crisis emerged and the Simvid-18 pandemic hit many many people ... Anxiety swept through the villages and the small towns, including Champignac of course ... With an aging population, residents became increasingly concerned about the well-being of their neighbors and the future of the city.

Shop owners and farmers who were already considering retirement were now faced with the daunting task of deciding whether to continue their businesses in such uncertain times. The entire world seemed to come to a halt, leaving everyone in Champignac wondering who would carry the torch and ensure the future.

Surprisingly, the youngsters that only came sporadically for holidays, moved back to Champignac. Fearful of living in a crowded city and eager to gather with family members, they came to the old town with friends. After all, there were spare bedrooms in most houses!

When the restrictions were lifted, many were reluctant to leave. Going back to a stressful life and fast-paced city wasn't enticing anymore. Most decided to turn their lives around. They took up the florist shop or asked for a job transfer ... So, life emerged again :) Champignac is now a thriving town where you have everything you wish for and nothing more.

Champignac is blessed with old churches turned into bars or wineries, old palazzi that are inspiring, and small boutiques as gathering places ...

Winters and autumns are short, while spring and summer are long. Come and live among thousands of old buildings, walk on streets Roman soldiers once trod upon, see treasures from foreign campaigns, and benefit from the perfect blend of country living and town living.

Remember ... With its unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, Champignac offers the Sims a captivating and enriching experience. From the stunning architecture to the delectable cuisine, every aspect of this town reflects the South of France’s intoxicating charm.

Okay so while I'm in CAW how about a new world download? I actually made it about a year ago because I wanted to try out @chojrak-making-things and @simaddix's CAW resources. So this does require a bit of CC (107 mb) . I've included it because simsfileshare was being a bitch about downloading them today and I didn't want ya'll to deal with that. Hopefully Chojrak and Simsaddix don't hate me too much for it.

Well hello there, and how are you all on spooky Season?

So, let's start with the pics, because I haven't posted much (explanation later), but I did work on Voegel!

So, last time you saw me, I had done Vogoel school, next to the market

It is a cute little thing, but it didn't work. Let me explain: Sending children away sfrom families, especially young kids, is not really done in France (and homeschooling is not an option, thank whoever)

So Vogoel needs a kindergarden, primary schooling... and whatever grades before 16 are.

Well not in that little thing, soI bulldozed everything and started other:

Kinda. Well, at least it will be a short commute for the resident Teachers.

THE NEWS! (cue ominous music right now)

Ok, let's try to keep this short: I have a brain tumor.

I am not happy about it and it is NOT what I asked for Christmas, lemme tell you... But there you have it anyway.

Now, it is operable (and thank God I'm French, because I would be so f***ed in the US), but a neurosurgeon idea of "somewhat begnin" and mine vastly differ, so it is quite scary.

Now, why am I telling you this?

Been in the Sims for, well, decades now (my, how time flies), and, well, I hope I made a few internet friens along the way. And the thing is, in case things don't turn for the best, nodody is going to tell you guys.

I am going to be there a bit, since, well, I can't work while waiting to get my head open, but just in case, wanted to tell ya'll that it was nice knowing you, and we had fun, didn't we?

And please someone adopt Picasso doggie!

Welcome to Strangetown! by EstavaConfuso (The Sims 3)

 Truth-seekers move to Strangetown hoping to discover the secrets the town holds. Do aliens live among us? Do missing Sims mysteriously appear here? In this town nothing is what it seems.

About

 Strangetown is one of the oficial neighborhoods of The Sims 2. It appeared in the base game (PC) but it was also featured in The Sims 2 spin-offs: PSP, GBA, DS and console. My purpose in creating this world was to include all versions of Strangetown from all games it appeared in in a single world. I tried to be as accurate as possible to the different versions, as well as trying to keep the correct layout of the different places. Of course, it's impossible to have an 100% perfect replica, but I hope you can identify them in the game.

World

 Considering that The Sims 2 was released in 2004, this world is supposedly set in the mid 2000s. The world consists of 101 lots in total: 49 residential lots (18 inhabited and 31 unhabited), 44 community lots and 8 empty lots. The world map is a variation of Lucky Palms height map (although you don't need Lucky Palms installed to work).

Size: Large.

 Population: Populated. Features several townies from the different games (PC, PSP, DS, console, GBA). The original Strangetown families have complete family trees.

 CC: Included.

 Required expansions: All (World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise and Into the Future).

 Required stuff packs: None.

 The .rar file has a folder called “Strangetown package objects”, which should be placed in the game's Packages folder (Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages), and a .sims3pack file, which is the world itself, and should be placed in the game's Downloads folder (Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads) and be downloaded via launcher. You need to put both the .sims3pack file and the packages folder into your game.

I'm still getting my screenshots in order for the next family in rotation...the Lum family! One of my favorites from the bin. Well Lawerence is one of my favorite sims. I've never been crazy about Lilly in particular for some reason, but oh well. Anyway, I thought I'd drop by with a few pictures of their home on the Isle of St. Bernie as well as the general area because you know me, I LOVE zooming around taking scenery screenshots! Working on a new project ;)). I just can't believe what`s possible nowdays in Sims 3! I want to create all kinds of different European towns for the Sims 3 and the next one is going to be a mountain themed town. I'm actually Austrian, living in the mountains myself so I will be having lots of fun with this one!

I also finally managed to convert my first buildings and objects I need myself! I followed this amazing tutorial by @hydrangeachainsaw if someone want to learn it to:
