#sims 4 to sims 3

High Polycount mesh

So I'm currently converting a piece of clothing by SeoulSoul (literally the best cc cretor in sims 4 imo lol) But now the item I am converting has a polycount of 36K! What a way to destroy your sims 3 gameplay... I've been looking for tutorials on how to reduce the polcount without losing much of the quality. Here's what I know:

I can use the Decimate Modifier to reduce the polycount. BUT! With that, it splits the mesh... is there a way to work around that?

I can use Milkshape and use the Direct X Mesh Tool and reduce t by 1000 each time.... Is that more effective?

Is there any other way? Or can I use these ways but more effectively? If so can someone help me out!

I finally thought of making some clothes for men.

The poly count has been greatly reduced, so the model won't be as detailed as the original. One of the jeans can also be worn by teens, but it shares the same model, I didn't create a separate one. The connection between the cuffs and ankles looks fine, but there's a bit of an issue at the waist.

終於想到要給男生們做點衣服。 點面數降低了很多，模型不會像原版的那麼精緻。其中一條牛仔褲青少年也可以穿，但是模型是共用的，我沒有另外重做。褲腳和腳踝的連接沒有問題，但腰部會穿模。斟酌使用。

so i finlly gave it a try and did a conversion with a recolor (two slots one for the chest strings and the other for the rest of the dress

before you download: if you will try to make your sims body fat with this dress pls dont i tried to make it for all body types but the glitching in tsrw was insane even tho i did everything i should have from the tutorial so the only body thing that you can adjust are boobs in cas :)

Finally after a long break I present you... 2 of my favorit boots from Jius' Rock Collection. The Ankle Boots' texture look a bit weird but it is because I reduced the Polycount. They look fine for me, but if anyone wants the 12k one, I still have the file and can upload it, if there is a high demand. After being away from converting for so long I got a bit rusty but I think these came out well. I am planning on converting more Jius boots in the future! As always, they look splochy in CAS but absolutely fine ingame. Make sure to let me know if something is wrong with them tho! Feel free to tag me if you use them. ♥

October should be autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. But where I live, it still feels as hot as summer. That doesn't stop me from preparing some autumn outfits for kids, though. ✌

The posepack shared by L-sims (@yorithesims) is just too adorable, and I instantly decided to use it to showcase these two floral dresses in a photoshoot! I shared these two pairs of boots a long time ago, but they had quite a few small flaws. I've now adjusted the texture sizes and fixed the bone assignments. The short boots can also be worn by little boys.

Though it's still a bit early, I wish you all a Happy Halloween in advance! 🎃

Hello i'm kind of on a binge of converting stuff for sims 3 from sims 4 so i made another one this one is done by lumy sims sims 4 version can be found here

i tried to make cherries as hd as possible but again its sims 3 soooo yeah :D

Oasis Dress by Artlos for Sims 3 In preparation for my Lunar Lakes/Oasis Landing Generation in my first ever Legacy, I started to learn Converting stuff from Sims 4 to 3. There isn't much Futuristic/Sci-Fi looking stuff in 3 (atleast nothing I like) and the ITF stuff isn't a lot either so I took it into my own hand to look for something and found Arltos Oasis Dress, which was just perfect. I took 3 whole days to learn the process and it wasn't as bad thanks to my, somewhat, previous knowledge in Blender and @nightospheresims 's amazing guide! Ofc there was a lot of fucky wuckys but no one is perfect in their first try. (Download and more info under the Cut)

There is a issue with it tho. Some Vertices are visible on the light swatch (shoulder) but they were also there in Blender and I couldn't get rid of them, atleast not with my bare knowledge. You can only see them when you are very close tho. Maybe change swatch for Screenshots lol.

Also I didn't manage to make it dyeable. even tho I followed the guide, it seems like I didn't understand that 100%, lol. But I added some available Sets I liked the most. :) The Dress looks funky in CAS but as you can see on the Pictures, it is fine ingame!

So onto the download. I am not very confident sharing it because I am afraid it will not be perfect or cause issues, but that is probably just my anxiety speaking lmao. So if you experience any issues, crashes or anything after using this dress, pls lmk asap and make sure to remove it! Credits go to @arltos for the Original, which you can find here. Custom Thumbnails Credits go to @pralinesims, you can find the Original here. Nothing belongs to me, I only converted them to Sims 3. Thank you again for your permission! The Thumbnails are made from the Eyes Picture you see first, it is originally made by Praline, I've just cut it up into seperate pictures. It's my first time converting Eyes but I couldn't resist them, Praline did an amazing job with all her new Occult Eyes for Sims 4, they look stunning! Fitting for Alien or Alien-Looking Sims. Don't forget that actual Aliens cannot change their default Eyes (although, if someone knows a way, please let me know!) I used one of those funky masks to convert, which didn't allow to add any Stencils, aka I couldn't add presets. Which means you have to download all of them seperate. Thanks to @auroraeternal you can now download 1 File for ALL eyes in 1 set. I added it to the same folder as the seperate ones and I will leave the seperate ones in, in case someone doesn't want to have them all and just want to choose the ones they like. :)
