Hi! i was originally here for the kfam fanart but also I love ur art style, and I really liked the new animatic even tho I do not know what the series is. (ill maybe look into it later it seems cool). I also really liked the song, I’ve been listening to it on repeat since yesterday, and I started listening to hoosiers other songs too! anyway ty for the cool art and also u have good music taste.

i'm obsessed with shape language. there's a detail that's supposed to be a thing in the animatic involving Chosen's hair but i kept forgetting to add it - after he joins Dark, his hair gets an extra little frayed spike. it makes him look a bit more like the other hollowheads in terms of amount of hair swoops, which is cute. it also makes him a bit sharper and less "well-kept" to match Dark! glad you liked my animatic. possibly more to come! if it gets enough traction then who knows. maybe i'll make some animated AvM stuff next

Semi related to the lyricstuck comment in my previous ask, the animatic feels like a big love letter to the series like so many homestuck edits/lyricstucks were and its SO GOOD we have that for ava

i'm so glad it came across properly how much i ADORE AvA. i've literally been obsessed with this series for 7 YEARS. i was literally gushing the entire time i made it about how much i love this series and its themes.

also, glad to have indoctrinated another person into liking the hoosiers. was obsessed with them when i was younger, picked the song both because it was fitting + it brought me back YEARS listening to it

The typography and is so fucking and your designs for all the sticks are iconic to me, i love the shape language with them and the correlation of the hollowheads with eachother and their themes FIT PERFECTLY.

IM SO HAPPY YOU MANAGED TO SHOW HOW ALL THE HOLLOWHEADS INTERCONNECT WITH EACHOTHER, THAT BIT IS ONE OF THE MAIN THINGS I CHEW ON WITH THIS SERIES. YOU PORTRAYED IT SO WELL. THE SWITCHY SWITCHY SEQUENCES AT THE END???? Muah chefs kiss effervescent

It might be the song choice and the typography making it so but its so reminiscent of those old lyricstuck videos and i ADORE IT i really wish modern fandoms did those more often or atleast sensationalize them more!! Its so nice to see bits of old fandom culture that i enjoyed in recent ones

And gosh the song is making me Think Thoughts (thank you for the song rec btw thats going into my playlists too) "the game plays us for fools" the way that these guys' existence and suffering center around the person who made them and the only reason theyre fighting like this is because of That, they dont know any better, theyre all victims (haha) of circumstance and all following the chain/loop of violence that they are hardly aware theyre in "youll never get to find out anyway" NONE of them KNOW why they have to suffer at the hands of eachother, theyre all just hurt and hurting people in retaliation and its all bc of this One Guy, one being that is almost beyond their comprehension, they cant understand why it (the animator) does this to them
