Also, in case anyone hasn't heard this story, a gay employee quietly implemented same-sex romantic interactions into the first The Sims game before it was shown to the public, and reportedly, a spontaneous kiss between two female Sims during a public stage demonstration pretty much cemented the fact that the game was going to feature gay content.

Item #2: Quick Trick Book Stack

I’m trying to make more LGBTQIA+ Sims CC for Pride Month. I’ve also been on an object-recolouring kick- specifically, aikea-guinea’s old bookstack. With that in mind, I thought I’d make some gay-as-hell books for your sims.

So here’s six different recolours of the aikea-guinea bookstack. Each recolour features three LGBT books, including (but not limited to) Alison Bechdel’s Fun Home, Benjamin Alire Sáenz’s Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, David Sedaris’ Boy Meets Boy, and Roanna Sylver’s incomparable Chameleon Moon. 

Two of the recolours are vintage lesbian pulp, and as such, are mildly NSFW. I put pictures of them under the cut.

Tumblrpocalypse, the Sims community, and where to go

So, for producers of adult Sims content on Tumblr, it’s probably fair to say that things are...not great right now. It sucks. It's infuriating. It’s scary.

We’d like to take this opportunity to remind people that the wonderful and devilishly handsome people behind MTS also run SexySims, which is devoted to, you guessed it, creating and sharing adult content for TS2, TS3 and TS4.

We also run Sim File Share, the latest and greatest place to host your Sims files, including adult content.

And what makes MTS, SexySims and Sims File Share so special?

We own our own servers

That’s right, adult content hosted on SexySims and Sims File Share isn’t going anywhere. We are not beholden to the App store, corporate stakeholders, overzealous server owners, or anyone else but ourselves and the community.

So we can promise you that 18+ content on SexySims will always be safe, because it is literally what the site was built for. Jackssims Crash Course: Crystal Valley

This TS2 ‘hood started off as a game to play when I went over to a friends house. It’s blossomed into one of my favorites! The town is composed of elves, primarily those in the LGBTQIA+ community. There’s bits and bobs of story here and there, but nothing too serious. Graphics quality for the few pictures I have from the laptop will be of lower quality than more recent posts (I got a new computer over the summer, so the quality went up by a lot). I'd like to rebuild this with edits/mesh-swaps of the updated rollercoaster objects from PickNMixSims but I went through the whole process ONCE & am reluctant to start over again.

Emotive Eyes - Default animation-friendly eyes & addons.

Farm - Animated rideable animal objects; remeshed, retextured, reworked. I have some updates to make them more functional, I just haven’t finished doing the thing to the point I can release it yet.

Color Actions - Suitable for use in Photoshop; use on a gray base with hex value between #a0a0a0 & #c9c9c9 for best results.

WSO Actions - Links directly to the SFS folder they all live in. Most of them are in large packs; just delete what you don’t want. Folder also includes a PSD template for the freckles & moles I used on my Birthday Suit skins, for some reason.

Trans Shapes WSOs  - I have no idea which folder I put this in, in SFS, or maybe I’m just blind, so here’s the direct link.

Pleasant Hills Save File Updated to v1.5

UPDATE 22 FEB 2022:  Version 3.1 is now available at the same link as above, with much more extensive features! You’ll now have 170 clubs, more lot traits, setup for more mods, and so much more! 07 July 2021 @ 2355hrs EST - v1.5 of the savefile uploaded with largest number of changes to date:

1) New Private Practice health clinic in Magnolia Promenade. I was unhappy with how the clinic was functioning, even with multiple changes to the layout... so I downloaded a vets office and remolded it. This one is larger and will hopefully preform better overall. It is set up for regular and for emergency visits. Available on the Gallery under EA ID ejk7 or under hashtags #PrivatePractice and #SimRealist (turn on CC search). 2) SNBank in Windenburg improved, fixed missing wallpapers and doors. Added a lot of décor. Also available on the Gallery under EA ID ejk7 or under hashtags #SNBank and #SimRealist (turn on CC search). 3) LGBT hangout in Newcrest has had the Private Practice clinic removed and replaced with an activities centre. The SNBank area has been removed and replaced with a wellness centre. Bedrooms on top floor stripped to look more like shelter beds. Most electronics removed and changes to décor overall made. I did not like how PRIDE was functioning with the PrivatePractice and SNBank on the lot. Too many NPCS arriving and hardly any members of the LGBTQIA+ community on the lot as a result. Also could not fit in the Private Practice items required for the lot to handle emergency visits without creating a basement (I tried several ways, all ended up terrible). BOTH versions of PRIDE are available on the Gallery under EA ID ejk7 with CC search on (or also under hashtags #PrivatePractice and #SimRealist for old version). Version in savefile is the NON-SimRealist mods version. 4) Adjustments to the Burb family. Changed one of Jennifer's traits to a less overbearing one (and more in-line with TS2 I think), adjusted Lucy's age slightly, and had John quit his job and buy a business instead (for gameplay variety). 5) Basemental Drugs update wiped the drug dealers and probably the clubs for the drug dealers. I reset some of the the drug dealers, but I don't think I got them all. Did not recreate clubs at this time, possibly will fix at a future date (unless this is a reoccurring issue) .
