Some of them look kinda wonky because although I've gotten better at doodling in pen it's hard to get it right sometimes because #NO ERASER. so sorry to Keiji Nao and Reko's messed up hands/arms. Doin' my best while half-listening to the lecture 🫡#also I know 90% of my art/doodles lately are just characters in boring/default poses but only having time to doodle around my class schedul #limits my creativity a bit but it's still fun to doodle so I like posting them anyway. It's not about trying to get people to read it #It was just really ouchie to see the same concept I wrote 2 years ago get triple the notes in ONE MONTH.#and double the notes of my solo series masterlist in general in one month vs 2 years of my stories sitting there rotting #Then I see people saying they need more solo Eddie and I'm just here like my dudes I begged for requests. BEGGED. But bc I wasn't #/have never been a popular writer people don't want it from ME. It's like omg we want THIS but not like that. Not from you.#Can't help but let it get you down when nothing has changed in 2 years. It's not like I worked my way up and have the interaction now #that every other blog I used to commiserate with back in the day is getting currently. Fandom isn't a competition but it's not fair either #and I really struggle with that a lot of the time #Also yes I will concede I should be happy with the notes on the solo series because they are the highest of all the work on my page but #they're still nothing compared to what some people have just hours after posting a new story.#I saw someone complaining the other day that there are less new stories in the fandom than ever 1. Over and over. Ignoring everything else and then complaining that their faves don't post enough?#That the popular writer with the incredible series (that rightfully deserves interaction) hasn't posted a new dad!eddie or rockstar!eddie #drabble in ages meanwhile there are writes out there pouring their souls into dad!eddie and no one reads it. There is so much rockstar Eddi #smut out there that it could sustain a brand new reader for an entire year before they needed a new fic #Idk man. I'm just feeling so defeated. I write for fun now. But there was a point in time where I desperately tried to build a platform by #offering requests and writing a lot of things I would not otherwise write to try and gain traction on my page and every time I see another #food fucking fic get hundreds of notes I get so sad that I wrote that stupid Melon fic because I had people in my life that told me #they would be excited to read it and for what? One of them still talks to me. The others moved on so fast. Most didn't even reblog it.#Some of them have since written their own food fucking fics that got triple the notes of my OG. Again. No shade to them. I don't own the #concept. It's just disheartening and fucking sad above all else. How hard I tried to get people to LIKE me and my stories. 😂#Just sad hours in general tonight my guys. Maple Leafs discourse on their team social medias makes me lose brain cells because wdym they're first in their division and coming off a 5 game win streak & people are commenting that the top players are only in it for the money and have no drive, that particular players are useless and need to be traded asap, that they're a garbage team, that they'll never make it past the first round just because they lost one game.

Apparently because they are being payed handsomely the players must be mindless automatons who perform perfectly every night. It drives me absolutely nuts how quickly alleged fans will completely turn on their own team.

#i cannot understand how some people can't seem to comprehend that the players are still human who will have off days and make mistakes #regardless of their work ethic or drive or passion #it's not actual critiquing either it's basically just grown men cyberbullying other grown men #over a GAME #& they have a ton of people in the organization to critique and help them improve! have you ever heard of a coach!#it's like people want to assume the worst so when the leafs perform badly in the playoffs they aren't upset about it bc they see it coming #but they clearly are upset about it because they're commenting on the leafs own social media pages #& these losers never seem to realize how their own behaviour does actively make it harder for the players to perform #maybe some players will not want to play in Toronto because the pressure is so insane & the fanbase can be so toxic!#it really just is bullying #& those people think it's completely fine & warranted because they don't know the players personally & they're famous & rich #maybe try basic human decency for a change? & not letting yourself get super angry about a game?#& just the bad faith element of it all...#it makes it not fun! this is supposed to be entertainment!#stop assuming the worst #some of these people even assume the worst when things are going well! wdym jt is only playing well bc he knows his contract is almost up #isn't it more interesting & inspiring that someone legitimately improved through hard work & the power of the amulet #to the benefit of your team #let's bring back being a fan of your own team ok?#we are basically already doing that with the lb #(affectionate)#thank god for us!#toronto maple leafs #tml #leafs lb #my thoughts

came back to flight rising after a taking a break for a while and i have no money and no food. my dragons are starving, there’s hatchery dragons sitting and taking up space in my lair bc i never set up the hatchery forum listings, i can’t hatch any eggs bc im out of space…. oh dear.

If anyone here keeps a reading/book journal what do you dooo. I feel like I’ve tried multiple options and none of them have really been perfect

#this year & 2023 i used a goodnotes template i found on etsy #what i like about it is it’s aesthetically pleasing to me; there’s one page per book; and there are places to keep statistics #what i don’t like is when i want to do a specific reading challenge like a bingo i always lose track of that page #and it doesn’t fit the rest of the journal aesthetically #i also don’t like how.. finicky it feels?#i don’t like writing with a smart pen. if i’m going to be writing by hand at all it needs to be with an actual pen #i make way more mistakes writing on a screen than i do on paper #i also ended up deleting a lot of stuff like series trackers (because i mostly read standalones) and stuff like colouring in books #as i read them. because that would probably be fun if i was doing it on actual paper but it’s NOT fun on a tablet i can tell you that #so basically the templates provided didn’t fit my style all the time and there isn’t a good way for me to add in stuff i do want to do #i mean i can duplicate pages but that’s it #i don’t think another ipad journal is for me. i gave zinnia a try but i didn’t find it intuitive at all #and i can’t justify the price of £35 for the year #for that amount i might as well buy a leuchtturm and some stickers and washi tape and go full bullet journal girly #i do think longhand might be the way. but my problem is i have a real tendency to run my mouth #i would have to enforce the one page per book rule rigidly or we’ll have a repeat of the filofax incident of 2019 (when i had to buy a ton #of filofax refills because i kept writing too much about the books i read that year #and i read 106 books that year so i physically couldn’t keep everything in the filofax)#also i can’t draw for shit; my printer is 10 years old and hates me; and i don’t want to buy anything #so it’s going to be so unaesthetic i will get bored Quickly #honestly i see myself going back to what i did from 2020-22 which was one long google doc for the year #number; book title; author; page count; date finished. bullet point thoughts #i don’t know why i left this behind. probably because it was a bit too spartan even for me #look i’ll figure it out #personal
