And to those who don't know, Paris Hilton was a victim of the Troubled Teen Industry in her late teens and spent literal years in horribly abusive institutions based on hard labor where the conditions LITERALLY killed people. So when she did her "lol I don't need to know what work is because I'm pretty" or whatever later on as a young adult, that was mainly because she wasn't ready to face that trauma publicly because she was literally forced to work her fucking ass off in the most literal physical sense of the word for years

My Story:
As a child I experienced already a lot.
September 2014: I started to visit a different school. I struggled with learning, my chronical sickness and bullying.
Winter 2014: I started to visit the social worker & counsler at school because my problems turned out worse. But sadly these counseling sessions weren't helpful at all. I had to visit a psychiatrist for further treatment. It was tried to fix my problems but sadly it wasn't helpful. I developed suicidal thoughts because I was that frustrated. The psychiatrist decided to try some medications. The psychiatrist explained. The first two weeks it could show some side effects. But two weeks after I took the first pill: I developed a serious rare side effect. My parents asked the psychiatrist but she just said: It will pass by soon. But the issue didn't passed by...It got worse.
Autumn 2015: I had a mental breakdown on my way to school. I was sent to a hospital by the ambulance and received tranquelizers to be more compliant. In the hospital I was in a strong delirium. A psychiatrist was talking to me and said: I should be sent to a therapeutic facility.
At the facility (third floor, the secluded ward): The bathrooms were locked. Everytime when someone had to use the bathroom we had to ask for permission and wait til it's unlocked. But often there were times where the staff refused to unlock the door. No makeup was allowed. Also there were some patients who were treated better. I wasn't allowed to have hair ties in my room. In both floors where I was spent my time there was the rule of Silence Time (stay in your room and remain silent). Also books were controlled. I spent the first days in solitary confinement (I was allowed to leave my room and talk to others after the isolation. But it was monitored about topics. When you critized the staff you got punished.) Shaving wasn't allowed. Deodorants weren't allowed. Questions/Suggestions were ignored by the staff. Once I had a short anxiety episode some of the staff made fun of me. The only right ting what they did: To stop my medications. At the third floor I didn't received any therapy (They told my parents I'm attending a program). The only situation where I had something therapy-related I'd got a questionaire. I also was told being too fat for having an ED. Well, I was underweight. I was once allowed to attend a group activity at the third floor. It was about crafting. After I left the room, one of the staff teared my crafting work apart and threw it away.
First floor, ward with "less stricter" rules: After over one week where I tried to behave. I was shifted to the first floor. I shared my room with a girl (and we became friends). Also the staff noticed that and weren't happy about that. We both were in seperate classes in school. The classes were more like: Just do something school related and try to look busy. We both had seperate therapy programs. In the "silence time" we were in our room together. But we just talked and didn't cared about the rule. One hour before bedtime you have to be in your room and remain silent to get ready for bed. We both had different bedtimes. But mostly I went with her in our room and we still chatted together during she got ready for bed. During bedtime we weren't allowed to talk. But we still talked to each other and we got scolded and punished once. The bathroom got locked next time. I was shifted to another room and I was forced to sleep on the floor. She was shifted to a single room and was in solitary confinement. At the first floor I received some therapy. The group therapy was very strange. We received a behavior diagram and it was used for behavior modification.
The Ending: At the end my parents got me out finally. The staff tried to sent me to another facility. My therapist told me and my parents were too overwhelmed and want to send me away. And to my parents he told: I don't want to see my parents anymore.

today being the 5 year anniversary of the worst april fools joke ever (me being sent to a residential treatment center for over a year) has got me thinking about how much that place, and other programs within the troubled teen industry, have fucked me up.
i’m just now seeing how rotten the entire system was and is. it’s hard to even confront that idea for me right now; that it was bad, actually. it’s like a knotted mess of trauma and shame and confusion i’m only just starting to untangle.
i’m learning how to rebuild myself after being systematically broken down by adults who were supposed to help me, who had absolute control over my life, who liked to punish kids for fun. i’m trying to catch up on the childhood i missed out on, and how to grow past the hurt. it’s hard as hell. but i’m trying.
anyway. wanted to start a blog to talk about it, since it’s so hard to find people who relate irl. don’t know how much i’ll use it. we shall see

My Experience in The Troubled Teen Industry PT.1
I'm just going to flat out say it,
The name of this program is "Innercept" it is in Coeur d'Alene Idaho and it is abusive.
fair warning, my space key is broken and this was a few years ago now and due to my dissociative disorder I have blocked some of it out. However I swear everything I tell you is real.
TW: child abuse, psychological torture, neglect, SH/Cutting, (this is for all parts not just this one)
If you go to there website you see smiling faces, this is far from the truth.
they promise a full recovery after 90 days minimum there.
It started off bad and it kept getting worse, on October 8th around 3:30am I was dragged out of my bed in a psychiatric unit in Texas by people I would later know as "Goons". They pushed me into the back of a car and told me that if I fought them I'd spend the next 30 hours in the back of that van driving to "Residential" in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. If I didn't fight them we would take a plane there.
Disoriented and confused (having just woken up) I made the choice to not fight.
So we took the roughly 6 and a half hour flight. Once we landed the goons picked up a rental car for the final leg of the journey into hell.
Looking around at the scenery out the windows my first thought was how beautiful it was, we had flown into Spokane Washington and driven the rest of the way in the car, so we were surrounded by picturesque mountains and forests.
We arrived at the offices of the program and after a brief intake I got driven up to the house by a staff member.
Immediately upon getting there I was escorted inside by the staff member. I was told to go down a set of steps in the house down to the basement. Little did I know this is where I'd spend the next week.
This is part one, it's late and I'm tired and the hard stuff feels to difficult right now to talk about.

so sad about the way that autistic girls often get treated by the mental healthcare system 😞 i was in and out of hospitals from the age of 12 and i mostly got told i was “just a brat” who didn’t really want help and just wanted attention, or that there was something wrong but they didn’t know what and i’d just get perpetually passed around to different psychiatrists. eventually ended up being sent to one of those abusive wilderness camps for 7 months
the lady doing my assessment has shown me so much kindness and it’s just absolutely crazy that my meltdown behaviour as a teen was completely dismissed and not seen for what it was. the system abuses autistic kids so badly, if someone had just helped me like i was begging all the professionals to, maybe i wouldn’t have ended up in a camp being abused

It’s really hard for me whenever I see any posts about people missing 2020 and the trends or whatever media was popular at the time because that was the year I got sent to that god awful residential facility where I was horrifically abused for 17 months.
And every time I see those types of posts I can’t help but think about the fact that I missed out on that and ALL of 2021 and I’m never getting that time back and will never have those experiences.

Did anyone watch the horror movie 'The Substance'? I've seen it because someone recommended it to me, and I saw one of the three directors was female, but now I just have few thousands words of criticism and upset about it. Click if you want to read it. Tw for themes of women abused in tv industry and the fear of aging out of their jobs.
So, the substance is about a woman aging out of her role in television where she runs a fitness program, and she is distraught to realize she's going to get replaced. Sadly she blames her own aging process about it! She gets in an accident, and then a male nurse gives her an usb showcasing 'the substance', a serum that makes a younger version of you come out of your body.
She takes it, and her body opens up to let out a younger version, a different acctress, come out and look at herself in the mirror. I was already upset by this point about the depiction of a woman losing her job for aging and hating herself, and not the industry and the males in it, but now I was in disbelief. It was funny that they wanted me to believe another woman exited from her back and didn't break her spine in the process, whatever, but now she was in a new body, and immediately went 'yas slay look how hot I am' Excuse me what?
I thought, at least one part of the horror would be feeling off and alien if forced to switch consciousness to another body, a body that is unfamiliar, that you didn't grow with, it would be traumatizing. No matter how much more 'socially likeable' a new body was, I can't imagine looking at my own hands and legs and having them look completely different, and being okay about it. It would cause a crisis in anyone, your identity would be in shambles. You couldn't get used to it, you'd have trouble looking at the mirror at all, and would forget it and constantly be reminded of it when seeing glimpses of your own hands, and it would shock and disturb you every time. How would you talk to your friends and family now? How would you deal with people you loved who couldn't recognize you? It would be mentally scarring.
If she had one single friend to talk about this, the entire premise would fall apart because it would become obvious that this is stupid and shouldn't be done.
Watching on it turned out they cut this woman out from any social context of her life. She had no friends, no family, not even any acquaintances. The only person who ever talked to her was one(1) single ex classmate, and other than that, she seemed to have zero people in her life who even knew she existed. But there's nobody like that. Yes, you can be socially isolated, but hardly to the point where nobody in the world knows you exist. If you go outside people memorize you. She didn't have anyone who knew her. She was supposed to be a popular figure on tv. But she didn't exist. This woman had no past, no existence in anyone's world, no connections to other people whatsoever. It made her less of a believable character to me. Nobody can exist completely out of social context of their life. We didn't get an explanation of why she has no family, or friends or acquaintances, or past loves, or anything like that. It was almost like she was now so irrelevant due to her age that the world just cut her out, which is scary but also ridiculous, she looked young!!
Another glaring flaw in the movie was that... the older woman in the movie was so clearly more attractive than the younger. They tried to shoot her face in harsh lightning and highlight whatever they thought was wrong with her body, but she just looked excellent under any kind of standards. What do you mean this teenager is 'hotter' than the original protagonist. She looks 17, she looks like she shouldn't be allowed outside after dark. The idea of her being filmed by older males gave me nausea, get that child away from them. I had to skip most of the scenes with her because it looked like child pornography. They had her wearing breast prostetics to make her look adult and put her in clothing no woman alive would find appealing or comfortable to wear, it was painful, uncomfortable and horrifying.
The entire existence of the younger woman was dehumanizing. She didn't eat. She didn't watch tv. She didn't do anything human. She was a male idea of a 'hot young girl', who only existed to look like what males think is appealing, dance on stage, and get male approval. That's it, we never see her exhausted, sad, commiserating how difficult it is to be around males who objectify you all day, we never see her complain about sexualizing and so obviously ignored sexual harassment she was put trough – the movie acted like sexual harassment didn't exist. Males around her appeared to only care about how much money she could make them and even though that was disgusting too, I don't believe for a second that a woman in that scenario doesn't get extensively sexually harassed. But the movie skipped over that. Like it just didn't matter. She doesn't have mental health issues because she's an attractive female child on television. She isn't human to them.
The younger woman had to switch bodies with her original counterpart weekly, and at first I found these little moments soothing, because the older woman was clearly showing signs of pain, hunger, exhaustion, irritation, depression. I thought 'oh, there's the humanity I was missing!' and was just happy to see her eat something. But then, to my horror, these little moments of humanity were ... demonized. The fact that she was eating was a flaw and a failure in the movie. She was depicted as addicted to food, jealous, bitter, angry and like giving in to any human urge for entertainment and rest was her 'wasting her life'. I was chilled by this notion, because I realized that's how males see female needs in real life. A waste.
Another thing I found upsetting was the amount of completely naked scenes the acctresses had to go trough, because I can't imagine anyone feeling okay and comfortable with being filmed like that. It felt invasive and uncomfortable for me to see. I knew it was done like this for male satisfaction, it wasn't catered to me. It disturbs me to think they felt comfortable looking at that. Female discomfort is a source of pleasure to them.
The movie progresses in the protagonist taking more and more time being in the younger body, resulting in the older body deterioration. She ends up feeling like she's two people, which is logical at least; you would feel like you're someone else if you're a different body, it at least displayed that little bit of 'you are your body' consequences. The male nurse who gave her the substance starts stalking her, and talking to her in public, and I found this part interesting. The male tried to get her to relate to him, said things like '7 days is long' and 'has she started eating at you already', and to me it became obvious that the male nurse knew exactly what this was going to do to her, and did it anyway. Because he felt lonely and wanted a female companion who also switches bodies. He picked her out and victimized her because he wanted company who also suffered and struggled with the same problem, he spread the misery for his own benefit. I thought we were going to look at that? I thought we would unpack that for a second? Male selfishness and bringing misery into female's life for their selfish purposes? But movie said no and we never see him again.
The younger version seems to forget she ever had any more age, and recklessly parties and does public events not caring that her counterpart is getting destroyed, until at the end, they both end up in some kind of monstrous shape, which okay, the extra teeth were fun, add extra teeth on women yes. But she is ultimately killed when appearing in on a social event looking like that. The ending just shows her dreaming about being famous and cheered on by the crowd, and it looks almost like the movie thinks her endless greed for glory and fame did this to her. Like this is her own fault, she destroyed the body she had in pursuit of eternal approval and gratification of a cheering crowd. I was looking at this like, who was this made for? Nothing about this clicks, is this for people obsessed with their own fame? Is this just a made up idea of what the world looks like for women who are trying to be famous? Because it wasn't clicking with any reality I was aware of.
We've listened to women going trough fame and popularity, and we know what these stories entail. First half of it is being introduced to it too young, forced into it by their parents or guardians, being overworked, missing on childhoods and schooling and family time, not getting enough sleep or rest, being pushed into substance abuse just to get trough the day. And then, endless sexualizing, endless situations where they're in the presence of predators and unprotected. The industry ruthlessly rejecting their personality and forcing them to mold into whatever the public wants, or the producer wants, having their identity crashing with the public opinion of them. Lack of privacy, lack of safety being outside, getting harassed and crowded on the street, not being allowed to live a normal life. Having body issues due to being forced to focus on how you look, because you're under constant scrutiny and now your job depends on how your body looks like, developing mental disorders due to lack of control over your life, and due to control you have to have over your every action. Having your opinions and wants dismissed because your word doesn't count in the industry when you're a woman, being forced to hide what people have done to you in private, often suffering sexual abuse and being forced to keep quiet if you want to keep your job. Breakdowns, suicidal thoughts, both fearing to lose relevancy and wanting out of the industry for your mental health, but it's all you've known and you don't know how to function otherwise. Getting jaded, realizing your own value drops with age, learning to despise everyone who took advantage of you and dropped you the second you weren't making them enough money. Being sick and tired of males talking down to you and dismissing your humanity. Not knowing where to turn for understanding and safety, because the charade has to keep on going in order for the industry to go on.
This is what I would expect a woman in the industry to have learned after being put trough all that, and instead the main character was so void of any backstory, any real experiences, any thoughts or criticism about it, any anger or bitterness about the abuse she'd have suffered in there, and was sorely upset about her lack of job security and that she was no longer looking like a commercial. She would have learned from this, that this is an inherently insecure job industry, it's not worth being in it, but she doesn't seem to learn this. She isn't even angry they hired someone else without telling her. All of her anger was directed towards herself. And the movie was not challenging it. It was saying 'yes, it is your own fault, both for aging, and for wanting not to age. Look what you did.'
And by the end of the movie, she was just the same as the beginning, still just longing for the fame and cheers. She is a character who is not allowed to learn from her experiences, in fact seems to have no experiences, even of the things that happened to her in the movie. She cared for nothing but male validation. She only seemed to care about the younger body for the sake of this validation. Even at the very end when she was killed by the same males who she gave everything to impress for, she wasn't mad at them. She just wanted more validation from them.
And I'm watching this thinking, this must be whats inside of a male brain. He did that because thats how he would act in this situation. Males are incapable of learning from experience, so they assume women are too. Males think that having a body of a young female in their posession would resolve all of their needs and desires, so they think for a woman that would work too, in fact that she would destroy herself to get there. The creepy male fantasy of what a woman would do. It was done to validate their dumb opinions.
One thing I was surprised with was the road not taken in this movie, because it had a lot of potential symbolism! The younger woman exiting the woman's body, was reminiscent of birth. When I noticed it's a different acctress, I thought maybe we were making a parallel of mothers and daughters. Because it's a thing that happens sometimes; women with daughters will look at the daughter and feel she is a prettier, younger version of themselves. It reminds them of their own potential when they were just children, before their lives got decided by marriage and male ownership. And when daughters start receiving male attention, due to the flock of predators always creeping by, mothers will sometimes forget that this is a child bonded and dependant on them, who is now in danger, and instead get jealous, and want that attention for themselves. They'll try to vicariously live trough their daughters, get themselves into the spotlight, or win attention of the males attracted to the child. It's a horrifying event each time, I was reminded by it while watching the movie, seeing how angry the woman was at the younger counterpart for partying, being on tv, being in the spotlight that was now unreachable for her. But the movie ignored this cruel reality as well.
The movie's conclusion is just 'this is somehow the woman's fault', while trying to be a movie about the pressure of the tv industry on women to not age. The pressure is real and experienced by all women, so the movie could have been about analyzing the source of it, showing us the other side of it, how dehumanizing and cruel the males are benefiting from this, how it makes absolutely no sense to cater to them or to care about what they think of female age and appearance. It could have been about male selfishness, greed, pedophilia and predatory nature, it could have pointed us in the horrifying direction of women sacrificing so much of their health and life only for males to have financial benefit and sexual gratification from it. It could have depicted how hard work of women is unappreciated and only rewarded with further abuse.
Instead it focused on pulling women inside out to make horror of their bodies, and depicted teenagers as the ultimate goals for anyone. I think that's where I experienced the most horror, seeing the younger version being dehumanized and depicted as a sexual dream, her every private action looking like a commercial, making her into a reduced non-human robot that only acts the way males think women should. And the woman who actually looked like an adult, was not allowed to learn, criticize, or long for anything except male validation, another fantasy that is as far removed from reality as possible.

"And one day, your name didn't make me smile anymore."
You are a star. A sensation. Everybody loves you.
And get this;
You're cast in a hit tv-show called "Encore", it's a sweet small-town story about a group of kids unlikely to hang out, finding each other one day in an oddly specific circumstance, where they find out how alike they really are.
Cliche? Probably. But, the people you met on set changed your life.
You're a lot like your on-screen character in that way.
Anyways, you're big and it's crazy, unlike anything you could ever imagine. Cameras, interviews, fans, autographs, blah blah blah.
And then,
you die.
FEATURES
-come back to life
-say hello (and bye, then hello again) to Hollywood
-5 potential suitors mmmm....(two female, two male, one secret)
-watch as everyone you've loved loses themselves in grief
-play as female, male, or nb
-maybe try not to die again okay? for all our sakes?
This game is just supposed to be fun! This is my first IF, and while I can be serious, I'd like this to be a fun little project to escape to (for you and for me).
But... this is also Hollywood we're talking about...so there might be some heavy topics unsuitable for some readers.
TW for: mentions and uses and abusing of substances (drugs), sexual harrassment of a major character, optional sexual content (not extremely explicit, it'll probably be pretty vague), implied death of a major character (besides MC), and maybe more.
That list (as well as this intro page) will be updated as I write and flesh out some character bgs.

Against the clock (part 2 - Final)
Bf! Hank Voight x Gf! Reader x kid
Hell a lot of angst but fluff end
Summary: continuation of part 1
TW : kidnapping, guns, swearing, hospitals, getting hurt, trauma? yeah, along these lines
Words count: 849 words
Writer's note: @pear-1206
The clock was ticking, and every second felt like a lifetime. The team worked tirelessly, scouring security footage and running plates from nearby traffic cams. Kevin finally broke the tense silence.
"I got something!" he announced, drawing everyone's attention to his monitor. "Black SUV, parked near Hank's house about 15 minutes before the patrol car went silent. No plates, but it took off heading west toward the industrial district."
"Get patrol units on that route," Hank barked. "Adam, Kim, you're with me. Jay, coordinate with Kev and get more eyes on those streets."
The team scattered, their movements precise and coordinated. Hank grabbed his gear, his mind racing with the worst possibilities but refusing to let them overwhelm him.
The room was dimly lit, and your head throbbed as you came to. Your hands were tied, but not tightly enough to keep you completely immobilized. Liam sat nearby, his face streaked with tears.
“Hey, hey…” you whispered, forcing yourself to stay calm for his sake. “It’s going to be okay, Liam. I promise.”
He sniffled, nodding, though his little body shook with fear.
The door creaked open, and a man entered—a tall, burly figure with a menacing glare. “You’re awake,” he muttered. “Good. Saves me the trouble.”
You glared at him, your voice steady despite the fear gnawing at your stomach. “What do you want?”
The man smirked, stepping closer. “The kid’s parents owed my boss. Big time. They’re gone, and now I’m just cleaning up their mess. You and the boy? Collateral damage.”
“Collateral?” you spat. “He’s a child! You’re just a coward, cleaning up your own failure to handle business like a man.”
The insult earned you a sharp slap, but you refused to flinch. Liam whimpered, and you shot him a reassuring look, silently mouthing, Stay brave.
You had no idea if Hank or anyone from Intelligence would find you in time, but one thing was clear—you wouldn’t go down without a fight.
Back at Intelligence, Trudy burst into the bullpen. “Patrol just spotted a van matching the description heading toward an abandoned warehouse on the south side.”
“That’s them,” Hank growled, grabbing his vest and gun. “Let’s move.”
The team mobilized, their vehicles racing through Chicago’s streets. Hank gripped the wheel, his mind focused entirely on getting to you and Liam. Nothing else mattered.
As they reached the warehouse, the team spread out, securing the perimeter. Jay and Adam took the back entrance while Hank and Kevin approached the front. The tension was thick, the only sound the faint hum of a nearby train.
As the chaos unfolded in the warehouse, one of the kidnappers, desperate and cornered, lunged toward you and Liam. Instinctively, you moved to shield the boy, and a sharp pain tore through your side. You gasped, stumbling backward as the man’s knife made contact.
“Y/N!” Hank roared, his voice echoing through the building as he fired a precise shot, the kidnapper dropping instantly.
You sank to the ground, clutching your side, trying to keep pressure on the wound. Liam clung to you, crying uncontrollably. “It’s okay, buddy,” you whispered, your voice weak but steady. “You’re okay.”
Hank was at your side in seconds, dropping to his knees. His hands hovered over you, panic flashing in his eyes. “You’re hurt. Damn it, you’re hurt.”
“Just a scratch,” you joked weakly, though your pale face betrayed the pain.
Coming out of the ambulance and into med the whole ER team is outside waiting knowing inside the ambu is a MED member.
As the stretcher comes out everything starts working fast.
"It's not that bad Maggie. Hurts like a bitch but not too bad" you say seeing Maggie, "you're just leading y/n nothing more" she says glancing at you.
"Open up! MED on the house, trauma 3 go go go now." she barks as everyone turns to give you assistance. "now you Hank stay here ok? we got her"
"I-" Hank tries to talk back but Maggie cuts him off instantly "shes one of ours, so we'll take care of her. you go seat with everyone and try not to kill her family when they get here ok?"
The next hours go by a blank. Liam ended up being completely fine, scared, and probably with trauma to last 3 lifetimes but alive and safe
Hours later, after the knife wound was cleaned and stitched, and a blood transfusion ensured you were stable, you finally woke up in a recovery room. Hank was there, sitting by your side, his hand gripping yours tightly.
“You’re a stubborn one, you know that?” he said, his voice thick with relief.
“Takes one to know one,” you teased, though your voice was hoarse.
His expression softened as he leaned closer, brushing a hand over your hair. “You scared the hell out of me. Seeing you hurt like that…” He trailed off, shaking his head. “I’m not used to being the one who can’t fix things.”
“You did, though,” you whispered. “You found us. You kept Liam safe. That’s all that matters.”
"And no more take-out delays ok?" "Got it"
END <3
(part 3 or continuation of what happens to Liam? :) )

She spent a lot of time getting back on her feet, and mainly contributed by fishing up food for her fellow Believers. Eventually, she got her boating license back, started working on a shipping boat named the SS Alcor, and quickly climbed her way up to captain. She spends most of her time on that boat, and because of that, she's allowed to stay in the Temple of Liyue when she's in Teyvat City. Still gets in legal trouble, but oddly, her punishments are far lighter now...
'Childe Stutter': Was introduced to the cult when his team was instructed to investigate it. Originally infiltrated through a contact in the Church of Sneznhaya, and while his teammates were there, he slowly started to be swayed by the cult's beliefs. Thankfully, just as he realized this, his team leader decided to disperse the team throughout the different compounds, and he was sent to the Temple of Liyue. Currently works as a bank teller for a company named Northland Bank. After being told to get his own place, he got a house a few blocks away from Zhongli's new house.
Chongyun Yang: Was introduced to the cult through his Aunt Shenhe, but didn't join until he decided to run away from his abusive family. Spends his time trying to spread the word of Their Grace, which he mostly does by bringing peace to someplace or another. Never moved out of the Temple due to his age.
Ganyu Qilin: Was introduced to the cult by Rex Lapis himself during her college years, and joined shortly after mother did. Spends her time organizing various things, like food orders, taxes, and events, for not only the Temple of Liyue, but most of the other compounds as well. After her mother was turned into an Adeptus, she gained the title of 'Half-Adeptus'. Works as a secretary for the Keqing Yuheng at a city and urban planning company named Yuehai Industries. Due to her half-human status, she was not allowed to stay on the compound, so she moved into an apartment between her job and the Temple.
Hu Tao Wangsheng: Was introduced to the cult by Baizhu, but didn't join until after losing her grandfather. Spends her time trying to convince her fellow members to die, so they can finally meet Their Grace, planning how to convince, or just playing pranks on them. Also spends her time trying to get grieving families to join the cult. Works as the Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. When she was told to move out, she got a suburbian house in between her job and the Temple.
Keqing Yuheng: Was introduced to the cult by Ganyu, and only joined because Ganyu did. At first spent her time trying to subtly convince Ganyu to leave the cult with her, but similarly to Childe, has come to believe in Them. Still dislikes Visions, though, unlike her opinions of Their Grace, she has been open about this from the start. Spends her time training the teens and children of the cult with various physical exercises. Currently works as the CEO of an urban and city planning company named Yuehai Industries. Currently lives next to Ganyu.
Ningguang Tianquan: Was introduced to the cult by Rex Lapis himself during her college years, and joined when he convinced her it would help her with her money troubles. After joining the cult, she dedicated all of her time to it. And after learning that Rex Lapis was looking for representatives for his children, she tried her hardest to become one of them. But bittersweetly, was only rewarded the position of High Priestess. As the High Priestess of the Temple, she did not have to leave and get her own place, so she didn't. She currently works as a Judge at the Jade Courthouse.
Payton Paimon Via: Was introduced to the cult by her Aunt Lumine, just minutes before she moved into the Church of Mondstadt. Has spent five years there, but has yet to recieve a vision, due to the elders not knowing what Vision to give her. Is currently moving from compound to compound with her dad.
Qiqi Bubu: Was saved by a Temple of Liyue sub-faction named The Adepti, but didn't join until a few months later when she was reunited with her father Baizhu, partially due to the severity of the injuries she suffered. Spends a lot of her time either around the other children, physically exorcising to improve her bodily function, or mentally exercising to improve her short-term memory. Currently lives in an apartment in Teyvat City with her dad.
Shenhe Yin: Was saved by Cloud Retainer, a member of the Temple of Liyue's Adepti sub-faction, when she was a teen. Spends her time training to become an Adepti- a task that, when accomplished, will make her the first non-original member of the cult to gain such a rank. Because she's no longer a teen and not yet an Adepti, when Rex Lapis told everyone to find there own homes, she was forbidden from living in The Temple of Liyue or the Adeptal Domain. She was only permitted a few months to get a job- and she eventually found one as a Medium. Currently lives in a studio apartment in Teyvat City.
Xiangling Wanmin: Was introduced to the cult by Beidou, who talked her into joining over the course of a few months. Spends most of her time either cooking for the cult, coming up with new things to cook for them, or foraging and/or hunting for ingredients. Also spends a lot of time with a baby bear with downsyndrome that she adopted and named Guoba. Was forced to leave him with the cult when she had to move out. Currently lives with Xinyan and Yun Jin in an apartment nearby her job, Wanmin Restaurant, which she's the Restauranteur of.
Xiao Wangshuu: Was introduced to the cult by Rex Lapis during his teen years, and joined to escape his abusive father. His fighting prowess got him rewarded the title of Adeptus, and later got him the title of Yaksha- a council of five meant to lead the Adeptus. Sadly, the his fellow members were driven mad and murdered each other, and one of them mysteriously disappeared. As an Adeptus, he's one of the few to know Rex Lapis is safe and healthy. Also as an Adeptus, he was permitted to stay on the original compound chosen for The Creator's Grace, which has now been renamed to the Adeptal Domain. Although he doesn't; opting to spend his nights in a treehouse hidden nearby the Temple of Liyue.
Xingqiu Feiyun: Was introduced to the cult by Chongyun. And not wanting his friend to be living alone with strangers, he half-lied to, half-talked his parents into letting him follow his friend. But quickly fell in love with the dedicated yet simple people of the compound, and soon started to believe in Their Grace. Spends a lot of his time reading, or hanging out with the other teens and kids. Due to his age, he never had to move out of the Temple of Liyue.
Xinyan Rock: Was introduced to the cult by her friend Xiangling, but didn't join until Xiangling convinced her it would ease the numerous troubles in her life. Spends her time making or playing music for her fellow Worshippers. Currently works as a musician on YouTube and Twitch, and makes her money by streaming concerts. Currently lives in an apartment building together with Xiangling and Yun Jin.
Yanfei Xiezhi: Was introduced to the cult by her father, but didn't join until after she befriended Eula from the Church of Mondstadt. Almost joined the Church of Mondstadt, too, until she learned of the unfair rules in the Temple of Liyue. That, combined with her father being a member there, convinced her to change courses, so she could, at the very least, advise her fellow Believers on what to do. Currently works as a legal adviser for Xiezhi & Kuki General Law Firm, and currently lives in an apartment with her friend Eula, and Eula's friend Amber.
Yaoyao Rambler: Is the second child to be born into the cult, and the first one to be born with Adeptus blood, due to her mother being Streetward Rambler. Recently got her Dendro Vision, finally making her an official member of the cult. Spends most of her time hanging out with various members of the Temple of Liyue. Was allowed to stay at the Temple of Liyue due to her age, but not allowed to stay at the Adeptal Domain due to only having one Adeptus parent.
Yelan Yansheng: Was introduced to the cult by Ningguang, after serving as an anonymous informant for some of her lawyers. Joined shortly after making a deal with Ningguang to continue helping with legal cases. Spends a lot of her time with a fake smile on, helping cultists she's slowly starting to agree with... Works as the owner of the Yansheng Casino, although is seldom recognized when she's there. When she was told to move out, she had her Casino renovated so she could live there.
Yun Jin Heyu: Was introduced to the cult by Xinyan, and joined when she convinced her it would help free her from her sheltered childhood. Spends her time either performing for her fellow members, or writing new performances, thanks to them unintentionally inspiring her. Works as the head writer and performer at Heyu Opera House. Offers a fifty percent discount to all members of The Creator's Grace, so long as they contact her beforehand. Currently lives with her friend Xinyan, and Xinyan's friend Xiangling.
Zhongli Xiangsheng: Is currently hating his life. He's managed to kidnap you, and has you trapped in his basement (why did you trust him?). Hates that he has to make you food (he gives you one half-assed sandwich a day). Hates that he has to take out your waist (the basement has no toilet; you're being forced to poop and pee in a trashbag with no trashcan). His only relief is when he takes out his anger on you-- and he's starting to hate that, too (You feel like you're going insane)...

❀ *◦ christian yu. demiboy. he/they. pansexual panromantic. ⇝ hey, isn’t that lee "bastian" sebastian ( nickname: erebus )? i think that the thirty year old from melbourne, australia works as owner of wrench it, cashier at dracula's coffin club, and member of the bastards, but outside of that people describe them as a symphony in an empty ballroom, bruises colouring your knuckles in blue and purple, taking a punch with a grin, scattered shards of a broken mirror, an aura of black following your every move, tenderness buried under the rubble. i hear they are capricious & cunning, but they are also known to be resolute & sharp-witted. consider giving them a visit at their home in kingpin trailer park, and get to know why they’re called the serpent. stats / pinterest

BACKGROUND
TWS for implied abuse, mental illness, religion & substance abuse
sebastian's story begins in melbourne, australia, born at exactly 3:33 am ... to two extremely devout catholics. their child being born at ( in their beliefs ) a time that symbolized satanism brought great unrest, which would in turn be the very reason they abandoned him just years later. convinced that their son was possessed by the evil entity, or was the devil himself, when in actuality he was just a child who needed to be nurtured, their love turned to hate.
having gone so far as to have him exorcised, it was only a matter of time before they abandoned him, only six years old at the time. dissociative amnesia caused the more traumatic memories and their aftermaths to be lost in the depths of his mind; when he came back, he was in a ward of the foster care system. the life of torment he lived was over, but he couldn't escape the ghosts of it that haunted him, a permanent reminder burned onto his skin in the shape of a crucifix.
they called this child who'd forgotten his own name ezra, which was what he went by from that point on. the rest of his upbringing was spent in the foster care system, relocated more times than he could keep track of, never finding a place to call home, or a family to call his own.
harbouring a reputation, most of his peers thought of him in the same way his parents did. he wasn't an outgoing or obedient child, and his tendency to get into trouble only got worse in his teenage years. the black sheep of each home and social circle, sebastian's life was spent almost entirely alone; his only companion being the stray kitten that wandered the premises.
inevitably aging out of foster care, sebastian was faced with many more challenges. without any guidance or resources, he ended up in sydney with the feline, homeless for some time before getting recruited into a gang. there was much better company to be in, but it got him off of the streets and gave him some sort of purpose. he was, however, a snake in the grass. after a year of doing the dirty work and being shoved around, he sold the gang out, discreetly running off with the funds and taking off to seoul, south korea.
having changed his name before setting off, lee sebastian was finally born, and his life could finally begin. in time, he'd be swooped into the music industry, where he was finally thought of as something other than damned. the group achieved great success, and during this period, he began to explore his gender identity, ultimately discovering himself to be a demiboy, identifying as such going forward.
the waters grew rough late 2016, when symptoms of his very neglected mental health worsened. he began stray from the path and taint his idol image ( a concept that he hated ) – the life wasn't as perfect as it seemed. past habits returned, and substance abuse became a coping mechanism when times were especially tough. soon enough, he'd find himself back in the pits of hell.
bastian's inevitable departure from the industry was explosive and def left a mark. leaving the members behind, just as what had been done with the gang all those years ago ( except staying in touch this time ), bastian all but disappeared as he relocated to anchorage, alaska. while many didn't take what he accused the label of seriously, it came just 6 months before its shut down, following the situation with nikolai's group in 2017.
eventually finding a new place of belonging, bastian became a member of the bastards; the second gang he'd be a part of, but it was far less bullshit he'd have to put up with than the former. anchorage came to be his home, as fucked up and shrouded in mystery as it was, and this time, he wouldn't run away.
HEADCANONS
bastian still struggles with episodes of memory gaps and disassociation, and is diagnosed with a dissociative disorder that he does seek therapy / take medication for, as well as for his personality disorder.
even though he ditched the industry a long time ago, he still makes music of his own today as a creative outlet and is professionally known as bash, though he's more off the radar these days with a smaller but devoted fanbase.
was in a long-term relationship (with some off and on's) with nikolai up until recently. even though they're just friends now, he'll always be his first priority.
personality wise, may come across as cold and unwelcoming at first ( resting bitch face and being covered in tattoos probably doesn't help this ), but below that iciness is just a fucking dork. a grumpy but loveable one. he means well!!! generally speaking, he is easy enough to get along with if you don't mind that he's brutally honest and a little rough around the edges
he is notttt a patient person by any means. impatience is probably one of his biggest flaws, along with impulsivity which gets him in fucked up situations; they don't have time for any bullshit. the type of person to just walk away in the middle of a conversation if it's deemed a waste of time. also has a short fuse. sometimes u just gotta be like let's get u to bed grandpa FDHGJFDH
as a result of trauma, he has one white blind eye.
still has the cat from when he aged out of the foster system!!! she is 11 years old now and is a lil seal point siamese named danbi. loves her to death. has another siamese mix, a 4 year old named Jimothy that was adopted with nikolai – they coparent him. also has a black german shepherd named loki!!!
just another #mess added to the roster tbh. we love him
