What happened to Crash, Trailblazer and Iolite's parents in the horror au?

Much like Trailblazer herself, Lightning Dust and Trenderhoof never crossed paths with Iolite in this AU, and she most likely didn’t have time to target them before she was defeated herself.

Iolite already killed their son and she is known for having a pretty big vendetta against couples who are happy and loving, so I think she would have taken out one half of CheeseDash to make them suffer. I personally vote Rainbow Dash for Iolite’s glue factory because I like the idea of her being stuck with Crash in the afterlife. Sorry to Cheese (or you’re welcome for sparing his life)

Ohoho I’m so glad you asked about Iolite’s parents. Sombra would become evil again SO fast if he had a reason to, and watching his daughter follow in his hoofsteps is more than enough of a justification for him. But I think they would just as quickly get into a power struggle, both having different goals for their villainy.

“Father I don’t want them enslaved I want them dead.”

“No let ME destroy the Crystal family!”

And so on.

Zephyr is mind controlled by Sombra like those enslaved soldiers in the show, because there’s no way he or Iolite would let him disagree with them in any way. At one point Sombra tries to put Iolite under his mind control too so he can use her powers in his favor, but her emotions are so strong that it doesn’t work. The backlash of his spell failing is what kills Sombra, and Zephyr too since his own mind control bound him so closely to the doomed king.

Zephyr parallels Summer in that way, being fated to die with the lover they’ve been chained to~

Been rewatching the My Little Shop of Horrors over and over again and I can't help but wonder who would be Twilight's Audrey in that scenario. Like not even from a "who's the best ship for her" perspective but from a "Which pony could I see in Audrey's role as a woman who is seen as a prize to be won, and has lost some of her self worth cause of it, but has hope in her heart that will tragically torn from her as the man who thinks she is rescuing her is actually becoming just as bad as the man she's with, but simply isn't directing that badness at her"

Ok I was thinking about this and I think I have a general idea for what makes a mlp character an earth pony, unicorn, or pegasus. Maybe this will be helpful with OCs/ponysonas.

Unicorn: intelligent/knowledge-seeking and/or creative.

Twilight is very intelligent as well as knowledge-seeking while Rarity and Sweetie Belle are creative/talented in the arts, many ponies in Canterlot, a big city, are also unicorns where intelligence and the arts are highly valued (in contrast: ponyville is mainly inhabited by earth ponies who value simple life and family.)

Pegasus: emotionally driven/feeling before thinking.

Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Scootaloo are all emotion driven characters with Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo being more spontaneous and risky while Fluttershy is controlled by her fears throughout most of the seasons and is overly compassionate even when it makes the situation more difficult. The Wonderbolts all have very similar personalities to Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo as well.

Earth Pony: simple life and a high placement for family.

Pinkie the pie family and the Apple family all put family as very important (compared to characters like Rarity, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash who at times wish to not be associated with certain family members.) They also value simple lives and are practical and hard workers, doing work that they like.

Not all the MLP characters follow this placement personality wise but the main ones do (or some characters had a reason not to for example: Tempest Shadow or not enough screen time for example: Zesty Gourmand.)

A light rant about character sexuality in the MLP fandom

This was originally part of a comment I made on r/mylittlepony.

People need to stop trying to police MLP characters' sexuality. I see this often from both straight and queer fans and it's really uncool. The show was never about that stuff and the characters are meant be interpreted by the viewer. If I say Rarity is bi, and someone says she's straight because of Blueblood and Trenderhoof, then someone else thinks she could be a lesbian with comphet, then another person says she's Ace. WHO CARES?! It's not my business how you see them. There's no correct answer, it's not that kind of show. Just let people have fun and don't judge.
