When thinking on timelines with DC and Danny Phantom, I always figure Dick Grayson and Danny Fenton being around the same age makes sense. Like, that 90-2000s tech and culture, the formation of the Justice League and the Meta Acts? It would make sense to have a time period with no basis for such things when it concerns Danny not reaching out to other heroes or for the Anti-Ecto Acts being slipped into law. And it wouldn't be weird for Batman not to hear about all the ghostly happening of Amity Park when he would primarily be focused on Gotham (and somewhat the League).

It feels like a good set up for Danny being a great mentor for others based off his own struggles as a teen vigilante with no preparation or proper support. He can finally reach out to other heroes, lend his own experiences and power to a fight even if he does decide to start retiring from the vigilante scene.

Then you have Dick Grayson trying to strike out on his own, form his own identity, and I feel like Danny would be weirdly intuitive? He immediately clocks Dick as a teen vigilante and is just there for him in the ways he always wished someone had been for him.

It's so interesting how submissive House is to Wilson. In basically every scene where Wilson gives his 2 cents about a case, House without fail (for the most part) follows his opinion. Wilson gives him unsolicited advice and half the time he listens without saying anything, and the other half he argues but ends up listening to him anyway. House starts psychoanalysing Wilson and Wilson does it right back to him and House shuts the fuck up or gives a one line quip back at him (to have the last line) but knows deep down Wilson is right.

For a man of House's stature and how he interacts with Literally Everyone Else, the writers really hammer it into your soul that House only really listens to Wilson and no one else

Jason knows he doesn't have a right to be mad at Tim for forgiving him, of all things.

He knows he's reaping the rewards from that. But-

Something about it pissed him the hell off. Maybe it was the way Tim had looked at him, head tilted in the way that made it feel like you were being seen down to the subatomic level-

Or maybe it was the way Tim forgave him, with barely a shrug.

"I don't see how staying angry would've helped the situation," was all he'd said, and then he'd gotten back to the task at hand. Like it was an- afterthought maybe, to consider that Jason could be sorry.

Tim didn't see the utility in holding a grudge. And it was already decided that he had to work with Jason, so forgiveness was just a box he had to check off in order to make that go as smoothly as possible-

Jason's actions and remorse or potential lack thereof were irrelevant. Tim's feelings about it seemed equally as unimportant, if there were any to know of at all.

It was worse than if Tim had refused to forgive him, he decided, to have been long ago and had such a thing just...not matter to the person he'd wronged.

Saiki hating Takahashi because he reminds him of Akechi’s main bully is so insane to me. What do you mean the silly gag that’s been present since nearly the beginning is trauma-based. What do you mean it wasn’t just a joke. What do you mean Kusuo couldn’t consciously remember what happened with Akechi but still feels it’s effects years later, when he sees some random teenager and just can’t explain why he hates him.

I wonder how he felt when he realized. It’s living with a survival-based coping mechanism for so long that it seems entirely normal—then suddenly remembering something and realizing “This is the moment it happened. This is why I do that. I wasn’t like this before.”

did manage to get her out of the closet and back into her cage using a thick towel. I'd really been hoping with some time and patience she'd come around on her own, but obviously that hasn't done us much good so far. I'm going to talk to Doc tomorrow about starting her on an anxiolytic. For obvious reasons it will have to be a transdermal med.

Also, in case anyone is worried. I don't plan to keep in the a cage full time. I left her in there for the first few days to try to get her used to the sights and sounds of my house and establish it as her safe space. The other night I left the cage door open for the first time but as far as I'm aware she hasn't come out yet. The only reason she came out today is because I tried to pick her up to replace her blanket and it didn't go well. I'm a fool who didn't think to close the closet door and I really, really would prefer if she didn't go in there
