this is normal behavior for writers for comics, right? scripting dialogue and describing the scenes by drafting all the paneling and dialogue and character positioning and having it in a horrendous single canvas divided into 10 squares since 10 was the page max and your poor artist is going to have a to draw all this so you condense the entire plot like a mastermind and still have time to crack jokes and draw cub’s entire buttcheeks slung over hotguy’s shoulders. sorry what were we talking about

Quackity: And speaking of pep talking– speaking of pep talking, I need to make something so fcking clear to everyone is that QSMP Purgatory is a specifically entertainment event.

If someone wants to go full on and murder an entire team, let's say Red Team just fcking came on us right now – not like that – but let's say Red Team fcking came to us right now and beat the sht out of us, left us fcking hanging, like fcking– just fcking full on bullying. It is so acceptable to do that. That's what the point of Purgatory is! Purgatory is a fcking intense event.

If someone wants to fcking bully another team– it's Purgatory. It's fcking Purgatory! What people need to remember is that this is an entertainment event. Please, please treat it as entertainment. I am so SO fcking sick of people going to other creators and just shtting on them because they play Purgatory the way it's meant to be fcking played! That's the point of Purgatory! It's meant to fcking push people to fcking limit, make them show off their skills or make them just– it's all about that.

I don’t know when it’ll be shown is the real answer, that’s the, let’s get that out, I don’t know when it will be shown. I assume it will be shown sometime this summer. Could happen at any time though. It will be released this year [2024], last I heard. That is, and they’re pretty confident about that, doesn’t mean it’s a guarantee, could slip, but right now, internally, they expect to release it later this year, which is why I took it in Fantasy Critic”.

Transcript: “Let’s talk about masking! "But which type of masking are you talking about? Autistic masking or wearing a mask?" "But I thought unmasking was a good thing?!" Every time I talk about wearing a mask, I inevitably get comments like this. And while it can be a completely harmless question at first, honestly it’s become odd and even alarming to me at times as a disabled person. Yes, we all have unique backgrounds that give us different first associations of a word like masking: it’s not always easy to gauge context either (something I know all too well as an autistic person), which is why I personally say unmasking/masking autistic traits and wearing a mask/masking and usually provide more context in whatever I’m talking about.

But what alarms me most is that so many autistic folks talk far more about autistic masking then wearing a mask masking that they can’t even fathom I’m talking about this in the first place. We are five years into an ongoing pandemic that has taken millions of lives across the world, and continues to disproportionately kill disabled people everyday, and you don’t know the life saving wearing-a-respirator masking so many disabled folks been talking about regularly on this platform. Point blank, not talking about masking and Covid safety at all is quite frankly negligent and, yes, ableist if you consider yourself an advocate for disabled people.

It’s distressing to me that I have to explain to autistic and adhd folks why they have to care about other disabled people every time I talk about wearing a mask. You are not the only disabled person using the term masking, and always assuming masking is talking about only autistic folks feels at worst, aspie supremacy adjacent, and at best, accidentally forgetting about all your disabled siblings who have been advocating for masking for years. it’s not too late to start masking and talking about it again regardless the size of your platform or influence - all it took was one kind call-in from a friend to get me masking again two years ago and I am eternally grateful for it. If you’re looking for a sign to start masking again, this is it. But for the record, yes, less autistic masking, and more wearing-a-mask, masking! Bye friends!

literally begging yall this disability pride month to remember the phys. disabled deaf people. draw them with transcription computers, draw them wearing colorful CIs and HAs, draw them using FM systems, i've never seen anyone draw them and i'd love to see representation of that. i cannot count the number of times i've been excited to see disability art only to see them all using mobility aids and feel disappointed afterwards because fuck knows when the last time you saw your disability aids.

this disability pride month include Deaf/HOH people that don't solely use sign language, who wear colorful disability aids, who use things that only their own community seems to know about

Right now I think Roope Hintz is showing some of the best body language I've seen in his career. So earlier, probably 10 games ago, him and Mavrik Borque were on the same line and they were working on a play or doing something and Mavrik's a little skittish right now... ...there are times when I think he's (Mavrik) a tad bit nervous playing with quote-on-quote 'these guys' and he made a really nice play and Roope just looked over and gave him a fist bump on the bench... it was... like a 'hey kid, good job.' And last night, when Bäck had that- got hit by the puck, Roope was the first one to skate out there, tap him on the butt, say 'hey, you know, good job, get over to the bench' Like, he's- I think he's becoming a leader. I mean, he probably always has been with the Finnish players, but that's just a group of 3 or 4. But, i, i really think that he's starting to enjoy the weight of, hey, you're one of the best players on the team, we need you to do this stuff. And the body language to me says, 'I accept that challenge'

cant help but think about if predathos gets loose and starts eating gods , if the wildmother is hurt or must leave, what will happen to the protection grown around the blooming grove? will they stay because they were grown there or are they holy and cant exist without her. the grove and several other pockets of the savalirwood are protected innately by the wildmother too, sort of temperature controlled but most importantly alive and flourishing in the weird semi-dead savalirwood. i wonder if ludinus' plan ends up happening after all if the damage he did to molaesmyr and the savalirwood will end up swallowing the grove too after it survived it and pushed against it for over a century. kind of a sad thought to me : ( whatever. thinks of when cad asked bells hells to 'do what feels kind' in regards to making a decision about it all
