Ok so I am anti trans humanism because of the artificial extension of life. Like I'm not talking about fixing serious ailments with metal parts I'm talking about somebody putting their brain in a jar. Because 1) the only hope some people have for change is the idea of bad people, like on the house of representatives, billionaires and dictators, is that they'll someday die. And 2) infinite consciousness sounds like a nightmare. Like yeah death is scary but at some point consciousness should...end you know? Plus that if TMNT 2003 and phyconauts 2 taught me anything Is that being a brain in a jar, unable to feel, see, hear, touch or even eat would be hell. Imagine being trapped in a jar having infinite consciousness but not being able to do anything...human...your just alone with your thoughts.

BUT I am pro trans humanism because, on top of extending life that was cut short due to an accident or tragic accident. Is BODY MODIFICATION. Imagine if anybody could just edit their body like a charecter customization menu. Horns, pointy ears, long tongues, wings, tails, it would usher in a new era of total control over bodily autonomy. Become your fursona, replace your clit with a tentacle holding a knife the possibilities are endless. And no more of the "oh you might regret it" because it could be completely reversabal. And would hypothetically be cost effective too. Traditional beauty standards would be thrown out the window bc no two people would want to have the exact same body with this technology.

So yeah tl;dr transhumanism would be pretty based if it was just extreme body modification but if I see Elon musk's brain in a jar I will throw hands

our trans robot aft needed something happier than some of the shit we've heard lately and wowee did other trans robot enjoyers deliver. the culmination of 23 years of Bionicle's (very much unintentional and definitely not completely congruous with some of the weird shit in Bionicle and Hero Factory lore and the creation process) legacy since its first release in 2001 led to people all over playing around with gender via building robots with bionicle kits (there is even an excellent essay out there about the bionicle to trans realization pipeline in regards to how media effected this also). we can all go home now Bionicle has been completed via a Hero Factory meme (which was originally conceived as far in the future of the Bionicle timeline, this was revealed a while back) this is G3.

dont have the faintest idea what the audio is originally from but feel like an animated comedy show was the source. (as has been pointed out this is actually the original audio because the HRT they're talking about is the Hero Recon Team. just goes to show we did not get very far in watching Hero Factory)

Dashboard Osmosis of Transformers: Prime?

Dashboard Osmosis understanding of Transformers!

Okay, I'm assuming Prime is the cartoony CGI series and not one of the older 2D ones but the fact that I have to ask should give you a decent idea of how much I know 😂 this is gonna end up being a general Transformers muddle

Okay, I know that Transformers are fully sentient creatures and have different warring factions, and I think depending on how deep you get into the lore it has a lot more political intrigue than one might expect on the surface. When on earth, they can turn into vehicles... though I have no idea WHY is that a camouflage thing? Convergent evolution...?

The good guys are the Autobots and the bad guys are the Decepticons, they have hella galactic beef but I'm not really sure why... I know for sure that Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots but I'll be damned if I remember who leads the Decepticons. Starscream?? Is that anything?? I assume Bumblebee is a character in it to because I think Prime came out around the time of the Bay films? Oh, and I remember the name Tailgate, I think that's the lil blue and white one with the big blue eye? No idea if he's in Prime, but he's like knee height to everyone else, I love him.

um... honestly, my main knowledge of Transformers comes from a few years ago when someone was putting an improbably large amount of Transformers smut on my dash, something I wouldn't have thought possible, so my main vibe is that I have mad respect for the dedication to robot porn and speculative anatomy in this fandom.

OH and that apparently there's a surprising amount of canonically queer Transformers which is really cool!
