Sooooo ummmmmmm this is something that's probably going to piss a lot of people off, but I feel like I really need to say it.
If you get a message from an account claiming to be a Palestinian fundraiser, it is a bot. It is a scam. You need to report & delete the message and encourage others to do the same.
I know because I get messages on this account DAILY. I have a very high follower count and I'm pretty active and I interact with my followers a lot, and apparently that all adds up to one big bot magnet.
Bots following and messaging this account was a MASSIVE problem before Tumblr fixed its new account policies. I used to spend literally hours blocking and reporting the hundreds of bots that I would get following me each day.
I learned a lot about bots and how to identify them. The easiest way is with no avatar, "untitled" in the blog description (BTW if your avatar is still set to default PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD change it because you run a substantial risk of being accidentally blocked & reported as a bot).
One of the dead give aways of a bot was what I call "word salad" names. Three seemingly random words strung together making no sense, always adjective, adjective or noun, noun. If you reported a lot of these bots, you'd notice the same words kept showing up.
Nowadays, I am bombarded with fundraiser requests and sometimes, they don't even bother to hide the fact that they're a bot. The avatar is default, the blog title is "untitled," and the blog name is a classic randomly-generated word salad.
However MOST of the requests I get come from at least semi-legit looking accounts. There are pictures, a name, a story. Never mind that I've gotten that message three times from different accounts.
Sometimes, they claim to be vetted, but the whole vetting system essentially adds up to "trust me bro." There is no way of guaranteeing that this account isn't just lying about being vetted, claiming to be vetted by a false person, or are using the identity of a real Palestinian to scam people.
Previously, I've seen a lot of people getting attacked for raising questions about these fundraisers and getting attacked for being racist or for harming Palestinian families in danger, like Tumblr isn't a website famous for its scams and the words "The Arkh Project" "All or Nothing" or "Miss Officer and Mr. Truffles" mean nothing to you.
I personally have been scammed by people claiming to be charities on Tumblr before, specifically, The Leelah Project which used the name of a trans teenager who died by suicide to swindle people out of their money.
Luckily, there are actual, respected charities out there you can give money to if you want to help the cause:
Palestinian Children's Relief Fund
Palestine Red Crescent Society
United Nations Relief Works Agency
Islamic Relief
World Central Kitchen
Médecins Sans Frontièrs
One of the hardest things to accept about the situation in Palestine is that realistically, there is very little that your average outsider can do to change it. However, these large, well-respected and trustworthy charities are out there doing the hard work to keep people alive, and should be where the donation money is going
These scam bots feed on people's naïvety and need to believe that they are making a difference, and even worse, feed on the fear that by ignoring them, it somehow makes you a racist doing direct harm to a refugee family, when in fact they are using the suffering of Palestinians to take away money from those in need.
As far as fundraisers that don't send out random asks for donations, I honestly don't know. You'll have to do the work yourself and approach with much caution.
Be careful out there.

forever thinking about how the magnus archives really fumbled the Flesh. there was such potential there beyond just meat and whatever jared hopworth’s deal was. there’s the body, there’s the lack of control over it, there’s changes against your will, and sometimes hatred for it. there are uniquely horrifying bodily experiences that could have been explored that expand on it wholly. to me, the Flesh is the one fear i think never got enough development.
as a trans person, i identify with the flesh. i’m sure i’m not the only one, but the idea of a trans exploration of the Flesh and its nuances has fascinated me since i first listened to MAG 111, when we first learned about smirke’s 14. i would’ve loved (and still would) a trans or trans-coded Flesh avatar (because jared hopworth just does not cut it for me). jared’s flesh garden is something i think about often, though. the way the plants are tended, groomed and transformed into something else, people twisted into flowers comprised of their entire beings, still able to feel and exist with the horror of living as something you are not, something this world has shaped you into. i think a lot about a Flesh avatar with a similar premise, too. someone who saw themself transforming into something - someone - they couldn’t recognize, instead taking hold of it, molding their own flesh, cutting away and adding pieces, in an eternal state of visceral metamorphosis. and they wouldn’t have it any other way.
to me, the flesh is more than just meat. there are so many angles to look at it. the idea of feeling your emotions so viscerally they only manifest as bodily sensation, as nausea, as bruises and bleeding and bile, and you don’t have any idea why this is happening to you, because you’re fine. you’re fine, aren’t you? your mind is fine. sure, your head is pounding and your stomach feels like it’s a burning hole within you, and your bones ache so much you can’t move, but you’re fine. (for me, this is a big part of my being autistic. my feelings tend to register in my body before they ever do my brain). your body is turning against you in new and horrible ways, and you don’t know why. and the Flesh feeds on that confusion and pain. it loves it.
the Flesh genuinely had so, so much potential, and i wish there had been more on it, something that made it truly horrifying, especially since i think a piece of TMA’s fanbase found something in it that scratched their brains from the beginning.
anyway, yeah, i have feelings about the Flesh.

Generally speaking I try not to be annoyed at tumblr features experiments but also removing avatars in certain contexts is so funny I'm sorry it has been ten years and I don't know anyone's handle, I love you, approximate shapes and colors with a series of letters after.
Like most feature updates, there's a post about this on @changes and this is something that is in the lab, not being rolled out for everyone. But my good sir, this is the website for Jared, 19, and if you take our pictures away we will have no choice but to piss on the poor (our dear friends whose tone we read wrong because that's not blue swirly on a black background or still from an anime I'm not familiar with or geometric orange owl; that's some rando whose name I have never read and retained once in my life and what right do they have to call me a corndog stabbing bitch, that level of insult is reserved for my bosom mutuals, trans pride mandelbrot and dual bunsen burners).
I'm not worried that this will become widespread, but I do think it's very funny.

This isn't my art, (it's made by @ TheHearthFox over on Twitter) but I wanted to make a long post about why this work in particular speaks to me so goddamn much. I think such a massive part of the queer experience -- and also the furry experience -- is about the abstract. This can be seen in so many different aspects of furry "culture," from the concept of fursonas to kink and and other fetish content. You and I will never know what it's like to be a werewolf and transform under the full moon into the form of a big hulking furry beast. However, us furries create art and other works about the idea of it anyway. We never will be able to be our fursonas -- our often idealized and "perfect" versions of ourselves -- and part of that really hurts. It hurts so bad honestly, to the point where I can't quite put it into words. In terms of queer culture, I will never know what it is like to be a cis woman, and that also messes with me a lot. Yet, I'm still trans, my identity can change, I can perceive myself as whatever I damn well please. Identity allows you to shape yourself and the world around you in your own image, even if not everyone can see its beauty.
We have ways to get at least somewhat close to how we feel in our abstraction. VRChat allows you to make an avatar of what ever you want, whether it's your fursona or just an ideal version of you. Hell, it doesn't even have to be you, it could be anyone or anything really. We have a whole industry based around creating big ass costumes that allow people to at least look something like their desired character. But it's not enough. It's never enough. I ain't religious, but sometimes I feel like I've bitten the apple, been kicked out of the garden, and now I'm left to fend for myself with an identity that my physicality will never match. When I made my fursona using an avatar base in vrchat and configured it to match my real world body scales and looked down, I honestly started crying. I take the headset off, and I'm still me. Everyone takes the headset or fursuit off and they're still the body they were given, not what they would choose. Our reality is objective, and there's no way to really change that. We can act like animal people online all day, but the moment that screen shuts off, the moment we walk away, that warm, fuzzy feeling (hehe) fades.
To think abstract is to think beyond what you can normally sense. You will never get to brush the knots out of your fur in the morning, or play with your antennae while anxious (I see you bug people). We can still have those ideas, however. I know I'm on the third goddamn paragraph and I'm just now talking about the artwork I linked but this is an important concept to me. Usually, when I think of the abstract, it feels unreal, "fuzzy" so to speak. However, in HearthFox's piece, the objective reality appears out of focus and pixelated. It feels like even if we are unable to fully embrace the abstract, we can still embrace what we can of it, and bring some sort of color to a world that doesn't feel like it is made for us. The colors being outside of the lines could suggest that our abstract perception is maybe just "painted on" to the world around us, but is that a bad thing? Is it bad to take things in from the world around you, but still look at it all in your own unique way? I think not. This also isn't only about therian identity, or furry identity, or even queer identity -- it's also about neurodivergence. You are never in the wrong for thinking about the world in a way that is viewed as "non-standard" by the rest of the world. If you see yourself as a wolf, bee, fox, bear, raccoon, a fucking plane, it's not a bad thing. We can still identify however we want, and this modern way of looking at identity is the best way for us to embrace the abstract.
Go wild, go fucking stupid. Love yourself, if you're a fox, be a fox, there are ways you can feel that way, even if it's not all of the time. We can fight, we can love, we can still find ways to elation, even if sometimes existence itself feels wrong to you. This work is but one side of abstract thinking. Look at the color the fox has compared to the objective. Look how the fur drapes, how it runs down the body, or how the snout expresses emotion. Sometimes it feels melancholic, but you cannot tell me that trying your absolute damnedest to live your identity doesn't at least bring some color to your otherwise dreary and unfocused world.
Stay safe, love yourself no matter what.

This was in the tags on some other post and it's completely baffling to me.
How....how can you not be trans in Stardew???? Is there a sign? Does Mr. Qi pop in every once in a while to say "hey, you're cis kid" like?
There's literally a magic altar where you can change your avatar's gender in the wizard's basement but even disregarding that....
#yes base game you can only be referred to as he or she#but thats a bit of a leap from there to “you CANNOT be trans in this game”#stardew valley#stardew#sdv#rant

WBUR article: ''Dragon Age: The Veilguard' creators on their new vision for the fantasy series'
Rest of post under cut due to length and possible spoilers.
“Expectations are so high — whether from the fans of the franchise or the perspective of the company — there’s tremendous pressure.” says game director Corinne Busche. “One thing I’ll say about this team: They really rise to the occasion.” [...] “We sort of lost our way in a couple of previous titles, moving away from that character-focused storytelling that made ‘Mass Effect’ and ‘Dragon Age’ a success,” says John Epler, “Dragon Age” series creative director. “This project really coalesced when we consciously identified that central aspect of the experience: the characters.” “Veilguard” puts players in the shoes of an unlikely leader to a small band of rebels — think “Oceans 11” meets “The Fellowship of the Ring.” “It’s a deeply personal experience,” says Busche. “You’re creating your own character and that might be a representation of you, that might be reflective of the kinds of choices you'd like to make.” For the first time in BioWare history, that customizability allows player avatars to be transgender and access unique dialogue options around that identity. There’s also a prominent storyline about a party member coming out as nonbinary. “I'm an openly queer trans woman — I really believe that representation matters,” says Busche. “Everyone is welcome in ‘Dragon Age,’ and we want people to see themselves and feel like they can have a heroic place here.” [...]"
"4 questions for Corinne Busche and John Epler What makes “Dragon Age” stand apart from other fantasy games? Corinne Busche: “‘Dragon Age’ is a franchise that’s fundamentally always been about this really authentic team of companions that come together to take on insurmountable challenges. It's about people. It touches on some pretty deep themes as well. Injustices. The burdens of leadership. It really is about establishing this sense of found family to take on these challenges that lay ahead.” What feels different from previous iterations? John Epler: “I'd say this version of the game is much bigger in its storytelling, in its scope. We really wanted to put you in every one of the big story moments. So as an example, it's the difference between watching the Battle of Minis Tirith versus being someone who's fighting in the middle of it. You're much more participatory in it. We wanted you to feel like you were part of these big world-changing events. You were right in the thick of it and really focusing on making the story that is so big and epic feel personal just by how you interact with it.” What sort of hero is the player character, Rook? Epler: “One thing we wanted to steer away from very consciously was the sense of them being a chosen one because that's something we've done previously. They are the right person in the right place at the right time. But there is always a core personality to them. They are always going to be someone who needs to pull together this small but somewhat dysfunctional group and really lead them in a way that makes sense for that team.” Busche: “And it's one of the interesting aspects of each new game having a different protagonist. We do have a true blank slate, some say in ‘Dragon Age: Origins.’ I would put the Inquisitor in that category. Whereas Hawke in ‘Dragon Age 2’ has a very bespoke identity. So we kind of strike a balance between that. One of the defining properties of Rook, who they are as a character, is this idea of someone who's very competent, but as a leader, they're learning how to shoulder this responsibility.” You’ve put a lot of blood and sweat into this game. It’s nearly out. Have people already been telling you stories about how they connect with it? Busche: “Absolutely. One of the reasons that I felt so honored, so privileged to be able to join this team and work on this franchise is so rarely have I seen a game or a piece of media, for that matter, that connects with people so deeply. There's a real sense of ownership and an affinity for the franchise. It's a rare thing.” Epler: “I'll share a very personal anecdote about this game and people connecting. So I wrote the follower Bellara. Early on while we were making this game, I got a diagnosis of ADHD. So I'm writing this character who has a lot of the same mannerisms, a lot of the same views of the world, in a very specific way. And hearing people online, connecting to this character in the way she speaks and the way she interacts, they were able to point to and say, ‘That's me, that's how I deal with the world.’ And it's just such a cool feeling to have someone connect with a character you create and be able to say, ‘I felt seen in a way that I've never felt seen in a game before.’”"

(will be using he/she for Dazai in this post(
Transfem Dazai where he discovered she was transfem when she had to disguise as a girl for an infiltration mission and was just freaking out the whole time wonderful why he felt less miserable during the mission
When Dazai came back from the mission, he didn't change out of the disguise until after giving her report to Mori. Chuuya saw and wanted to lightly tease him a little and called her a very pretty girl
Dazai played it cool but was internally freaking out because that felt nice. Why did it feel nice? He wants more of it. He wants all of it
She tried to figure out how to get Chuuya to tease him that way more but the only way would be to be direct about it because Chuuya is very firm on misgendering not being funny (I know this is contradicting what I said earlier but hush. There is a timeline in my brain and this bit is set after Kouyou teaches Chuuya about trans people and misgendering bad, the earlier bit was not)
After a week of Dazai being extra miserable and frustrated Chuuya intervened
By intervened I mean corralling him into a gaming binge
Chuuya mentions how Dazai always picks the girl avatars and she's like "yeah, who wouldn't want to be a pretty lady." Chuuya just stares before teasing him like "you aren't a very pretty lady."
Dazai has mixed feelings about that because on one hand, she got called a lady, on the other that stung more for some reason
Chuuya worries a bit because "oh shit he's upset" and vows to never call her a lady again
Dazai eventually confronts him in her own way because Chuuya was acting weird
Dazai confesses that he doesn't mind being called a girl
Chuuya can see that she means she likes it and asks if he's transfem
Dazai's like wtf what's that
Chuuya explains and Dazai is like "oh. Maybe. Kinda"
Chuuya's like "cool. Any pronoun changes?" Dazai stares, classic fish expression
Chuuya sighs. "I'll check in on you in a week while you process this"
And he does
Knock knock knock Chuuya has arrived. He threatens to destroy the container if he ain't ain't let in
Badabing badaboom they're both crouched around a small laptop researching pronouns
After a talk on how pronouns don't equal gender, Dazai is rocking her he/she pronoun and living his best life as transfem
And Chuuya calls her a very pretty lady
He thinks that being more comfortable in her identity is a good look on him

I don’t really relate to the idea of “political homelessness” that a lot of people with similar opinions to me feel. This might be because of the difference with politics in my culture vs North American culture but… I don’t know, I don’t want a political party. I’m not a democrat and I’m not a republican. This is sort of the same reason I don’t call myself a radfem. I can’t stand the idea of seeing myself as part of an “in-group” with specific views and if you dare to disagree then you are no longer part of the in-group. Even though my beliefs are so similar to radical feminism that most people would consider me one, I do not claim the term because I don’t want to be part of a “group” or a “party” all my beliefs represent me alone and no one else. Similarly I don’t want to be judged for the opinions of others. I don’t know anything about JK Rowling and I’m not interested in someone trying to use me as an avatar to debate with her. We may agree on things but we’re not the same. This is not a Jubilee video titled “trans people vs crazy terf”, this is you (a human being) talking with me (a human being) about our differing beliefs.
Discussion and debate are very important to me and always have been. He/they/star/it-pronouned 14 year old me would be deeply unsettled by my views now. That’s okay. I am always changing my beliefs as I learn more. That’s life.
#long rant but point is I don’t really understand the desire to have a political party#I’ve never been a democrat and I never will be#radblr#radical feminism#radfeminism#radical feminist safe#radical feminist community#feminism#proud misandrist#feminist#female rage#misandry

Your whole life, all you've known is life with your pod. Scavenging, hunting, crafting and guarding alongside your family. You'd heard of the surface dwellers, of course, but they were barely more real to you than you were to them.
Until one day that changed.
Ripped away from your pod you find yourself in a world you don't understand, held hostage by a strange man with intentions you couldn't hope to grasp. He wants your magic - but all you know is that he's a threat to your family.
Find your place between both worlds, or risk losing everything.
From the Depths is an 18+ interactive fiction novel created in Twine using Sugarcube. Content warnings will include blood and gore, animal death in a historical context (looking at around chapter 3 - skippable), death and murder (including of those responsible for said animal death) and sexual content (skippable). List will be updated in the future.
Play as a male, female or nonbinary MC - cis or trans. Customise your appearance and personality, and choose how to navigate your new role in the human world.
Choose from two gender-selectable romance options - the determined guardian of your pod, or the idealistic princep. Or don't choose. Neither or both are also options.
Choose from five options to customise your pod - with two unique traits to aid you on your journey.
Learn the human language - or force them to adapt to you.
Learn the truth about why you were taken from your family, and find your way back to them - or build a new life for yourself on the shore.
Llyr - gender-selectable he/him, she/her or xe/xem | RO
Llyr joined your pod a year ago after xir own pod was scattered. Since them, xe has taken xir role as one of your pod's guardians to heart. Maybe at the end of that year you're still indifferent to xem. Maybe you're friends - or maybe there's something deeper. All you know is xe won't take kindly to what happened to you.
Nakia - gender-selectable he/they or she/they | RO
Nakia is the crown princep in the human country you've found yourself in. Idealistic, hopeful and curious about the world, they immediately set out to learn about your strange ways and get past your barriers. You can't tell them the truth about who you are - but maybe, just maybe, you can let yourself trust them. Note: regardless of which gender you choose, Nakia is always transgender.
Other characters to come in the future.
Demo (TBA) | Characters (Coming Soon)
Note: This is a side project with my main IF being 'Immortal', purely because I already know exactly where that storyline is going while I'm still fleshing this one out. I will be working on From the Depths alongside it, but it won't be my priority.

Hi could I be a bother and ask if you could do Knockout and Breakdown with a Trans adopted human? I'm sorry my dysphoria has been horrendous
A/N: You’re not a bother. Since you didn’t really specify what kind of trans!reader, like ftm or mtf, I tried to do this with stuff that would apply to both cases. (Holoform is like a cybertronian’s human avatar, that they can use to blend in with humans and do human things. Probably a bad explanation though) This is just me rambling as usual. The other (not trans specific) adoption things can be found here, here and here
~Knockout & Breakdown~
•I think Knockout would understand the whole dysphoria thing better than Breakdown
•It’s a different thing, but Knockout has a slight case of body dysmorphia, so he understand what it’s like to not feel at home in your own body
•You’re kind of jealous of the way cybertronians can change their anatomy, you wish it would be as easy for you too
•Knockout is always there for emotional support and for you to talk with, and Breakdown will arrange it if you want to let out your frustrations by breaking something
•Or if you want to shoot something with a blaster, I’m sure that can be arranged too
•Knockout wants you to feel as good about yourself as you possibly can
•He of course has to do some research on gender dysphoria, because cybertronians have such a different/non-existent view of gender
•Breakdown honestly understand even less of it, but Knockout if committed to teaching him and you of course explain your own troubles
•In general, they’re very supportive and want the best for you
•If you’re on HRT, they both take turns driving you to the pharmacy to get your hormones
•Knockout also asks you pretty much everyday if you remembered to take your HRT or if you need to take it weekly, he makes sure to remind you so you always take it on time
•If you’re scared of needles or just dislike doing the hormone injections, Knockout helps you in his holoform
•Breakdown is always especially encouraging when you try new styles or when you change your hair and stuff like that
•Knockout is of course also supportive, but he might sometimes give a bit more feedback than Breakdown
•Knockout is always excited to take you shopping and with mobile paying, his budget is unlimited, because Soundwave has set it up that way
•Breakdown isn’t particularly excited about clothes shopping, but he does still accompany you and Knockout, because he’s protective
•If some jackass were to bully you or just be an asshole to you for any reason, they might have a close call with almost getting run over by a car, and they will definitely get an angry, creepy call from someone with a voice modulator
•It’s kinda like a general, “Don’t be an asshole to people” call, rather than specifically about you, because Knockout doesn’t want you to get any more crap
•Even though Knockout and Breakdown don’t understand everything you’re going through, they’re always there to support you and hear you out, together or separately

so i'm reading through the Rise of Kyoshi, i'm about a third of the way through now and have missed meals because of my obsession with this book. just for fun here's a few random things i was thinking/noticed along the way (spoilers ofc):
-immediately, kyoshi was already one of my favourite non-show avatars but this book is firmly placing her in the lead. sorry roku but kyoshi is just built different
-also kyoshi could totally be trans. i know tall cis women exist but uhhh the whole thing about "filling the space of my dimensions" and "hiding away as best i can despite my height" (paraphrasing obvs) is really trans coded of her. she's also suuuper quiet, which could be because of voice dysphoria. none of is actually evidence but it's enough for me to spark a headcanon
-i did know going in that kyoshi was canonically bisexual. i've read the korra comics, they changed my life and they didn't hold back on the queer rep which is what we love to see. somehow i did not expect this to be evident less than 50 pages into the first book where she's clearly infatuated with both yun and rangi. and continuing on the same thought process...
-kyoshi/yun/rangi are an ot3 i do not care they are all in love with each other. they are a trio of bisexual disasters and until i'm proven wrong i will continue to believe this
-speaking of, yun's death (which is where i've left off for now) was fucking HEARTBREAKING i have known this little guy for like 24 hours and i am distraught at his SOUL CRUSHING death
-sooo i thought Kyoshi was in the avatar state when she did the whole 'destroying a whole fleet and summoning mountains from under the sea' thing. i really thought that was her first avatar state moment and i was super impressed, super in awe of her power, etc, etc. so imagine my face when it's revealed later that this wasn't even the avatar state Kyoshi is literally just that fucking good on her own. like hello???
#looking forward to continuing in a minute#i may or may not keep updating this as i go#chronicles of the avatar#rise of kyoshi#kyoshi novels#kyoshi#rangi#kyoshi x rangi#avatar#avatar the last airbender#legend of korra

Hii could you maybe write something for human! M!reader who comes out as trans to neteyam?
IDENTITY ;; NETEYAM
summary ;; just a few heacanons about reactions, tips, comments and validation from neteyam!
pairing ;; neteyam x human!trans-male!reader (platonic + romantic)
warnings ;; i think there's none ??
word count ;; 0.8k (with bonus)
a/n ;; you didn't specify what type you wanted this (neither hc or os nor platonic or romantic), so I'll do headcanons with these last two because i liked the idea, if there's something you didn't like, please go ahead and tell me!
PLATONIC
✦ Neteyam knew you since probably before the return of the humans. Your parents were scientists in favor of the na'vi and decided to raise you in Pandora in the company of some na'vi children where Neteyam was.
✦ Now, we must make something clear, and that is that in Pandora there are several words that are of human term. And for example, "trans" would be one of these.
✦ Neteyam could tell that you were starting to dress differently, talk differently, but he didn't question anything because he simply respected your space, but when you commented to him how you felt- no, how you identified, he cocked his head to one side.
✦ "That… What does that mean?" but his confused smile only made you imply that he would support you independent of its meaning.
✦ When you explained the term to him, how it was seen on earth and according to what your parents had explained to you (which in a good way they also accepted you the first time you talked to them), he seemed to understand a bit more.
✦ So he began to give you some ideas of clothing to make you feel more attached to the Na'vi culture (if you would like that idea) or simply, helping you to stylize you more, even sometimes trying to accompany you to train to define your body a little more if you wished so.
✦ If I'm not wrong, the culture's clothes are always supposed to be made by friends or family, since they come with a symbolic load and Neteyam as, for now, he is the one who is more informed, has decided to give you from time to time clothes that he thinks would fit you.
✦ In case you wanted to clarify this with others of your friends Neteyam would be the first to correct the feminine terms to masculine.
✦ "He, Loa'k. Reader is he".
✦ In a platonic way, you can expect a lot of support from Neteyam and truth be told, identity is not an issue in his culture and he will do his best to understand you, even asking others how to help you a bit more.
ROMANTIC
✦ Now, in a romantic way, Neteyam takes it a step further.
✦ Yes, the story is the same and when you gave him the comment he questioned what it meant, but quickly and not to worry you, he gave you a hug and put both your foreheads together.
✦ "I don't understand much… but I want to help you feel good in your own skin."
✦ So he looks for answers from some scientists, from his father, from some of your human friends and all to find out how to get you to feel comfortable.
✦ If you want to cut your hair, he will style it. If it was already short, he'll try to decorate it a bit like some of the guys have (BONUS: but Spider and Lo'ak will be there too).
✦ If you want to change your appearance, he'll do his best to cover your chest area and in case you've already done so, he'll remind you to be careful not to hurt yourself.
✦ Interesting fact, but in Frontiers of Pandora, Okul is possibly a non-binary character (Tsu'kiri too) that despite having a female model, has a male voice and I have the hc that there must be some way to alter the testosterone for the na'vis so Neteyam would travel by sea and land looking to know if you could get an avatar (that already has the biological change) or simply, know if there is something to help you in your human form.
✦ His family is quite respectful of you and have stopped treating you with feminine pronouns as soon as you and Neteyam confirmed them (Sometimes Lo'ak gets confused, but apologizes as if he shot you in the stomach) and although in the village there may always be someone who questions you, Neteyam will jump to defend you as a human and as a man.
✦ Finally, as a partner Neteyam is not much different from his platonic version, but I can tell you that he will love you unconditionally and will do his best to make sure that the way you see yourself is not a hindrance in your daily life.
BONUS ;;
"Wow, what about this handsome guy, is he busy?" you heard Neteyam's voice entering the lab. You turned around with an amused look and raised your head, looking him in the eyes.
"Just busy trying to convince Norm to get Spider and me Avatars" you admitted, giving a sigh as you folded your arms. He noticed that despite the smile you gave him, you didn't seem to look so good and he knelt down, kissing your cheek.
"Do you want to talk about it?" you wanted to, but your throat wouldn't give words, so he hugged you. His body hid yours lovingly, as if you were a crystal about to break, as if you were the last precious stone in all of Pandora.
"Maybe they can't get an avatar yet. But we all know who you are. Your personality, your essence, your identity… none of that is based on your body. I see you, my love."
a/n² ;; i THINK i understood what you meant, so i tried to do the best i could. although i am from the trans umbrella as a gender fluid person, i personally am very oblivious to certain behaviors that i know other people may have, but I hope you liked it, if there's something you didn't like, please tell me, love ¡!

Mortals and Fools — First Look #1 (Coming Soon)
Want to read a SFW coming-of-age fantasy novel with evil gods, two adult aspec protagonists and magic? Consider supporting this project!
Author's Note: After a total of 8 years of posting fanfiction on this account, I am excited to announce that I am finally starting my first long-term original work as an author! Goal is to get this series published as an actual novel but until then, I will be uploading chapters online as I write them, hopefully building an audience in the process! Mortals and Fools will be available on Wattpad and potentially other platforms. The first 4 chapters will be uploaded to Tumblr as well. Over the next few weeks I will keep uploading promo posts with new characters and more info! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me as a writer over the years and welcome to everyone who's new here!
Summary: In the land of Elsthess, brilliant but arrogant Dr. Immanuel Faust is doing his best to follow the teachings of the Goddess of Wisdom, live up to his late grandmother's expectations and hide the fact that he has been seeing strange, mystical apparitions all his life. When his pupil becomes afflicted with an ancient curse and the things he has seen turn out to be more than just hallucinations, Immanuel must forge a contract with Morgan, a being from another realm who's ready to humble him at every turn, and learn his religion's most despised art: magic. The Cast: Introducing 3 Characters
Here's some info on the three characters in the header, from left to right!
#1 — Dr. Immanuel Icarus Faust
❝ It wasn't supposed to be like this... I've failed... as both a doctor and a man of faith. I wanted to follow your teachings, dear Goddess, and guide those who seek wisdom and knowledge, as grandmother did... but I couldn't even save one innocent girl. Have I become godless? ❝
Raised by his grandmother, the High Priestess of Solbrynn's temple, Immanuel was taught from an early age on to aspire to be the best in everything he attempted to do and dedicate his life to wisdom, in order to make the Goddess Adira proud. Having become a renowned physician at the age of 28, Immanuel understands himself as his kingdom's ideal of a self-made man: a scholar who can achieve everything he puts his mind to, no matter the circumstances. As a result, he has put himself on a pedestal, believing that those who achieved less than him had all the chances and merely didn't use them. Fearing nothing more than failure and becoming anything like his absent, alcoholic father; Immanuel is bound for a rude awakening.
#2 — Morgan Miralaith
❝ While you were having your existential crisis in the mad scientist laboratory you call your bedroom, I took the liberty to read your grandmother's diary. The good news is, I finally understand where all the hubris comes from. ❝
Morgan, belonging to a long-lived species from the realm of Calliah, is the second-in-command for the Elsthess Resistance against the Plague Avatars. While the Resistance on Mhorunn regards her as a capable leader and a skilled fighter; using fire magic to blaze her way to victory; it is clear to most that she has many secrets and ulterior motives. She cares about others in her own way, yet hardly lets anyone close to her. With her mischievous demeanor and cynical nature, Morgan has made it her new mission to recruit Immanuel for the Resistance and, while at it, shatter his very distorted self-image and worldview. Upon forging a contract with her, Immanuel believes that he has sold his soul to a demon. It is only upon meeting others of her kind that he realizes that really is just her personality.
#3 — Mortis Grimm
❞ People reject that which is foreign to them. You of all people should know this. Still, my personal aspirations and origins are of no concern to you. Remember that. ❝
While there are several people from the Realm of Calliah in Elsthess, the realm that Mortis Grimm originated from is unknown. He seems to be the only one of his kind and there is something sinister about him. Wielding powerful magic that matches no other in recorded nature, Mortis, despite being the leader of the Resistance, is a big mystery to all of its members. Usually donning a Plague Doctor mask, Morgan is among the few to have seen his face. He is Mhorunn's greatest ally, but hardly a trusted one. Most understand that he could just as well become its greatest enemy one day.
