Here is the fourth prompt.

Day Four—Pair of Hot Chocolate Drinks

Two glass mugs of hot chocolate drink sit on a wooden table. Both mugs are on white saucers. One mug has been dipped in thick melted chocolate, which is dripping down the outside of the mug. Both drinks are topped with whipped cream, cinnamon, and shaved chocolate. Some pieces of cinnamon quill are visible to the left of the mugs. A small metal tea infuser filled with ground cinnamon is visible to the right, along with some spilled cinnamon dust on the table top. A bright blue tea-cloth is visible in the back right of the image.

This is Jasper, one of the four cousins. (In my AU the player characters are all cousins who work as Police Officers in the Pure City) I feel like he definitely would have poor taste in music and even if he didn't he would purposefully listen to it just to annoy his cousins (especially Sandy)

Inktober & OC-tober: October 4th, 2024 (Romance The Backrooms)

(Didn’t finish this until late last night, so I’m posting it a day late!)

Hey everyone!

So, this year, I have decided to participate in Inktober’s, well, Inktober event, and OC-tober, the latter specifically with @icannotreadcursive / @thepromptfoundry ‘s prompt list.  Basically, how it works is that I will do a drawing & a story adhering to the prompts.

For the first half of the month, I will be doing these for the characters of my story Romance The Backrooms, a liminal space otome with 5 main love interests.  For the second half of the month, I will be doing them for the characters of my IF Comp game Yancy At The End Of The World!, mainly to promote Yancy!’s Kickstarter, which launches at the beginning of November.

Other Info: This is Part 3 of what will be a series of stories dealing with Carla trying to come to terms with her grandmother’s death.  Please know that this is primarily what the story is about and treat accordingly.

After breakfast, Carla returned to the forest to take a walk.  Leaving town was somewhat surreal, like stepping through a magic portal: one minute, she was surrounded by people laughing & talking; the next, the quiet of the forest was embracing her, and nobody was in sight.

Carla took her binoculars out of her backpack, along with a notebook.  She had been a casual birdwatcher when she was a kid, and this trip was a great opportunity to revive that hobby.

As she stood up, a white flash went by above—a bird? Why was there a completely white bird here, of all places?

Thinking about it triggered an old memory to come out: Carla remembered when she was a child, and her grandmother took her to an exotic bird show at the zoo.  There were so many colorful parrots there, but for some reason it was the umbrella cockatoo—a bird whose feathers were completely white—that Carla found the most striking.  It transfixed her, and she stared at it all throughout the show, barely listening to what the presenter was saying.

Carla shook her head, snapping herself out of the memory.  Everywhere she turned, her grief lingered. . . There was no way to avoid it, it seemed.

She continued into the woods, sighing to herself.

I am a little late starting but I finished my prompt for Goretober. Just to let you all know since I have only done it over on my twitter, since I wasn’t really active on my tumblr for a few years but I do goretober.

I don’t really follow a lot of ppls prompts for it since some have ones I’m not sure how to do, so usually I grab bits and pieces of all different types for my prompts. You are also free do some of the days on here if you like.

Day Four—White Cake Decorated with Christmas Motif A beautifully decorated cake is shown, sitting on a circular brown wooden board. The cake is tall, and warm white in colour. Large piped towers of icing sit on top, decorated with small gold edible pearls. On the side of the cake, a bright red sleigh is shown. A large dark green Christmas tree is resting in the sleigh, with a gift wrapped in yellow paper and a red bow at its base. More edible pearls have been used to represent the baubles. A larger pearl has been placed on top of the tree to represent its star, and the side of the cake has been painted with a star-burst glow behind it.

2022 Ink-weekly #8 | SPOT

As favourite ‘spot’ because using it as a spotted pattern was evident and I live for chaos. And I've been wanting to draw DragonClaw Pub for a long time.

Before the beginning of the story, Kitti used to sneak out to one of the pubs in Halloween, and I thought that Szilvia is a part-time bartender anyway, so it would be a good place for the two of them to meet. Just some evening, Kitti hangs out in the pub and talks to Szilvia, who is trying to keep order.
