Pumpkins

Adam held up the knife as he contemplated what it was he wanted to carve into the pumpkin. Lucifer already had his gutted and was starting to carve a face into his.

Adam scoffed: I want it to be unique, practically everyone else will be doing a face on their fucking pumpkin.

He knew it was probably silly to give so much of a shit about a vegetable that was just going to rot and be thrown away. But it's the art of it.

Adam cut the top off and removed the pumpkins insides. He curled his lip, he didn't like the feel of the soft squishy pumpkin guts.

He then smirked as he started to carve his pumpkin. When he was done he showed Luicfer.

Lucifer: What is it?

Adam: Isn't it obvious? It's the devil. So, technically you.

Lucifer: That looks nothing like me.

Adam: That's because it's on a pumpkin! Jesus. Considering I've never carved one before.

Adam: Yeah. They don't do it up in heaven you know that.

Lucifer: No, I actually didn't. Humans created the holidays remember.

Adam set the knife down and folded his arms.
